  1. Sure. Silas is more or less fine as it is in CQ and BR, in Revelation there will be nerfs, but his SPD will be buffed to make up for it. Arthur will obviously keep his unlucky trait, but he will have better SPD as it fits the Fighter Class. Charlotte will have a higher starting level and stats to match.
  2. Isn't an Kiseki (Trails series) reference. Arianrhod was the goddess of the moon and stars in Welsh mythology. I thought her star theme would fit with Fates. I won't deny that making it a lance has some influence from Trails, but if it wasn't for her star theme and the fact that it was the last of the weapons to name (used to call it Mars as a placeholder), I wouldn't name the lance thus.
  3. Hello everyone. I'm presenting a project of mine, Fire Emblem Fates JSS (Stands for Justice, Strife and Silence) a reimagined balance mod for Fire Emblem Fates. The goal of this mod, is to rebalance the game to make it more challenging in the Birthright and Revelation routes, while trying to fix some of their gameplay problems (mostly Revelation problems), as well improve on characters that were given the short stick in this game. The tools used for this purpose are mostly Paragon, and possibly Exalt for story purposes if I go that far, since my priority will be the gameplay. For that purpose various changes will be made, with some already having been done, as this project of mine is already in progress. I will present the most notable changes in my mod: - Modified item icons (I don't take credit for this. Credit goes to Moonling for providing those.) - Most units will have a terciary class to reclass into (Normally you could only reclass into a secondary class line, or back into the default one) - Useless weapons (most of the personal weapons like Selena's Blade), or weak weapons buffed and turned into something better and/or more defined (Sunrise Katana is now called an Akatsuki, a C rank sword that has better MT, although 5% less avoid for instance). - Better weapon Rank system ( The points needed for each rank was 21, 51, 96, 161 and 251 for D,C,B,A and S rank respectively. Now it's 16,51,96,151 and 211). Samurai, Fighter, Dark Mage, Ninja, Archer and Shrine Maiden, can reach A rank in their weapons instead of B rank, allowing to make it much easier to accumulate weapon rank points to reach S rank, as it doesn't cap at B rank for those classes. Also, now there are two classes that can reach S rank instead of one, DLC not included. Those classes are the Hero for Swords, Buttlers/Maids for Daggers (Staves are no longer S rank for them), Generals for Lances, Oni Chieftain for Axes, Bow Knight for Bows, Strategists for Staves (Priestess and Great Master being the new S rank staff users foil). Tomes might be an exception to this rule. - New S rank weapons and buffing of the original ones. Now there will be a foil for each S rank weapon that existed before, except Tomes. Hagakure and Gram for swords, Suisha (formely known as Waterwheel) and Arianrhod for lances, Aurgelmir and Shuten Doji for Axes, Zashin (formely known as Pursuer) and Athena for Bows, Kirigiri (formerly known as Chakram) and Deathcall for daggers. For staves, there are two additions, the Dawn Rod and the Dusk Staff, while keeping Bifrost. As for Tomes, I'm still thinking about it, since giving S rank to Onmyoji feels like it would only make Sorcerer feel obselete. So I either give Sorcerers also staff usage, or make it so there is no alternative to Excalibur and just make Onmyoji an A rank class for both Tomes and Staves. -Changes to enemy skills, weapons and stats, as well drops. - 4 dark magic tomes, instead of one: Nosferatu, Miasma, Gehenna and Ginnungapgap (later one changed into dark magic, with more MT and whitout the MAG cutting penalty, instead being incapable of doubling) -Modified weapon properties, such as the removal of Silver weapon original penalties (Instead of cutting STR/SKL per use, it has a -2 Effective Speed penalty instead, pretty much function like a straight upgrade from steel weapons. Still keeps the -5 dodge though) Among various other changes, such as Jakob 2 or Felicia 2 joining you on chapter 6 Revelation along with their counterpart. Raijinto and Siegfried being magic weapons and so on and so forth. Possible future plans that will need some consideration: - Characters joining with a skill from another class already learned to make them more unique. (Hana having Quick Draw, Hinata having Strong Riposte learned when they join as examples. Similiar to how in Thracia characters had skills that would normally not go into their class (Halvan having Vantage for instance) - Making a unique class for the traitor boss in Revelation. - Changing Support Dialogue (Very likely) and story dialogue (far less likely to happen due to how much work it is to salvage the story of this game. - Adding further dark magic.

  5. As far as I'm aware, no.That's one sweet as Lyn. It only sucks if you use it on the wrong targets. Sol Katti is to be used against mages, Nergal and the Fire Dragon.
  6. The reasoning is, Sain and Lowen are now heavy knights (lance and axe type cavaliers who can promote into Great Knights), thus leaving Kent as the only cavalier. I made Isadora an cavalier, so there's two of them. Also, Isadora really needs to be more of an growth unit rather than a promoted filler, so I gave her the Silas REV treatment (nowhere as broken, though) by making her a high level cavalier with apropiate stats. I could make her a a Paladin with good growths, sort of like Seth, but I would rather there's an cost asociated to that by making you use an promotion item on her.
  7. There will be some rebalance. Some events will be slightly changed to allow for the Heaven Seals to be obtained earlier and for the story to still make sense despite that. Mani Katti will have lesser critical rate, and since Eliwood will have an edge over her with acess to lances, she kind of needs it to not be outclassed completely. Guy will have better CON to make up for the fact that Lyn outclasses him in most stats, since magic swords will have a high CON requirement and Guy is still the fastest of the two. Mostly a few bosses. Generics will have the heavy knight and great knight classes, just like the player.
  8. Something like that. I also want to fix the rankings so they are a better metter for good play and to fix some things that were clearly unecessary (Karla's recruitment being pointless for instance, due to not being worth the effort to recruit her.)
  9. Hello, everyone, I'm making an reimagined hack for Blazing Sword, which I dub as project Purging Flame. I call it a reimagination of the game, because It's less of a rebalance patch and more of what I would like Blazing Sword to be more like. My project is already quite advanced, but not yet finished, I could release a patch, but I I will wait until I've done testing certain chapters first before doing so. With that said, I shall be presenting here a list of changes, as well the new characters growths. Changes: -Most player unit stats and growths have been changed. - Enemy stats and growths have been changed. -Max caps for both promoted and base classes changed. Promotion gains changed as well. - A few classes have been added (Heavy Knight, Great Knight) -Enemy exclusive classes have been added. - Some player classes have been changed (Dorcas = Brigand, Farina = Falcon Knight, Isadora = Cavalier). - New weapons for both player and enemy alike. The lords have a unique weapon for their secondary weapon (Hector = White Fang, Eliwood = Nini's Lance, Lyn = Tempest Bow), as well upgraded ones for their main ones, with the exception of Lyn. (Hector = Alpha Beil, Eliwood = Noble Rapier) - Mani Katti has unlimited uses now, and had it's critical rate nerfed to 10%. -Eliwood can use lances in his base class. -Snow, Sand and Rain only penalize mounted units movement now.   10. Sorry for not noticing you, been a long while since I visited. I'm afraid I had a bit of an accident with my Vindication project, so I won't be able to repost it anytime soon, since I will have to start a good part of it from scratch. No worries though, since I had text files detailing on how I planned to change the game and the character's stats and growth, so it won't take too long to do. However, right now I'm going to focus on my project for Blazing Blade first, then I will come back to this one to make a more definitive version of my mod.
  11. Is it just me, or Garon has lethality... You do realize that Bolverk is a 1-3 ranged weapon, right? Meaning that everytime I attack him, I risk a lethality. Not cool. EDIT: Never mind, those pictures I saw are outdated, after installing the mod, noticed that he has different skills. Good on you.
  12. Is there any way to restore the original title screen and make the unit stats screen to have FE7 colors and frames? Also, it would be okay if I used those assets for my FE builder project? I would make sure to credit you if you allow it.

    I was told that people can't download my file attached to my starting post. I signed out, and sure enough, I can't download it, despite the fact that I can download it when I'm signed in. What's the problem here? I tried to delete it and reupload it, but still not working.

      I think attachments can only be downloaded by people who are signed in.  If you want to offer this offline, you'll need to use an external service (Mediafire, Mega, etc.).

  14. Not sure if If I should bring this to you, or another mod, but I've noticed something strange in one of my topics.

    For some reason, people can't download the patch file that is attached to my starting post. I signed out to check, and sure enough it says it's not available, even though I just deleted it and reuploaded it again.

    What's the problem here?

  15. Doing a H5 run of Shadow Dragon. Nothing that some HP management and javelin spam can't solve.
  16. Chapter 28 finished after taking a long break from the series. And for today's level ups, nothing to write home about. Priscila got a good one and Fiora is packing a bit more STR.
  17. As someone who currently uses FEBuilder, I do recommend it. It's more fun than using the nightmare tools, that's for sure, since FEBuilder has a much better interface and feels less "raw" compared to Nightmare
  18. If only Farina joined promoted with better stats, then she would be worth the money. I don't understand why some people do hire her, when you already have both Fiora and Florina, but to each their own.

  20. Been trying to create additional expressions to my characters with some sucess. Here's my Elvion (main character) with three expressions, normal, serious and slightly pained: The third one might need some more work, but I think I grasped the idea. In order to draw a open mouth, one has to paint the white dots below the lip dots. Although I'm not sure if that detail is visible on this resolution.

  22. Can I have your permission to use the resources that are located in your Avatar Demo? There are a lot of new classes there that would spare me hours of frustration and work.
  23. She looks small, because I'm using a lower resolution. I tried using large face before, but didn't work out as it messed up the mugshots during dialogue, so that means I will have to stick with the regular face size of 96x96p. It's also the only way to avoid the pixel excess that mugshot of Roselia had.
  24. Actually she will be a fighter and a tanky one at that. That piece of long red hair is difficult to remove, since if I remove it, I have to place cloth in it's place since the hair is covering it, which would be difficult to build in a way that doesn't look off.
