  1. Actually her SPD is in accordance to her averages, got a bit lenient though, I probably should have not focused on giving kills to Eliwood so much in her place. She would usually be lv 11 by now. I suppose, I was going to use Serra for sleep staff against the thief with member card, but since I intended to finish this chapter in fewer turns, I decided that I would bet on the unlock staff instead and so choose Priscilla, which for once, it's one of those moments where movement has notable use. Well, he's lv 12, so him being good isn't that unbelieavable. If only he had 6 STR, 6 DEF and 8 SPD base, he would have a much better start and thus wouldn't be an average unit due to his poor start. Yeah, I'm aware, that dracoshield I used on him is paying off just as I expected. Even if he didn't got DEF blessed, at this point he would still have around 11 DEF with dracoshield, so he would have still do a good job all the same. Yeah, I did manage, had to buy the Physic for full price though, I should have left the Silver card on her hands, but forgot to have Marcus give it to her. The units I focus on are usually Lyn, Matthew, Kent, Sain, Florina and Lucius (Lucius is optional, you are free to not use him much, since he's still decent with less levels, but do try to level him at least once). Lyn has Mani Katti, since it's pretty much the best weapon in her mode, so you can pass her iron sword to Sain btw.
  2. Well, did it in 12 turns, despite some trouble with recruiting Legault, since I didn't realize I was blocking his path and thus he wouldn't come closer. Well, then, for this chapter's level ups: More SPD, nothing else to write home about, doing well enough so far. Priscila became a bit sturdier, so she might be worth using more often now. Still waiting for that SPD, but DEF is still welcome. Passable, I suppose Alright, she has grown a bit more in STR than normal, always a good thing. Well done, that will do, but next time give me STR. Not happening quite yet. It's decent, SPD is what he needs more and SKL and RES are something he needs. Hector maxes DEF. Good for him. Alright, not bad at all. Still no SPD, but he does apreciate the STR and RES boost. Finally, Hector decides to grace us with a RES level up, also maxes STR. Lucky Sain gets more RES again. STR as well, no SPD this time though, it will do. . One can't expect good levels all the time. MAG is welcome however. EDIT: I forgot to post the video, here it is.
  3. I see, that is better than I expected. This will allow me to easen it a bit on the later chapters with all the rushing. As long as most chapters are close to to the turn requirement and I exploit the turn goldmines, 335 is a simple matter.
  4. Anyway, I'm going to repost the turn requirements for all HHM chapters for reference and because I still have a few doubts about how it works: Turn requirements Chapter 11: 0 turns Chapter 12: 8 turns Chapter 13: 12 turns Chapter 13x: 7 turns (Defense chapter) Chapter 14: 10 turns Chapter 15: 0 turns (Defense chapter) Chapter 16: 7 turns Chapter 17: 18 turns Chapter 17x: 10 turns Chapter 18: 11 turns (Can kill boss for no defense chapter turn cost) Chapter 19: 10 turns Chapter 19x: 10 turns (103 turns total to this point) Chapter 19xx: 0 turns Chapter 20: 16 turns Chapter 21: 9 turns Chapter 22: 11 turns (Can kill boss for no Defense chapter turn cost) Chapter 23: 9 turns Chapter 23x: 25 turns Chapter 24 Linus: 22 turns Chapter 25: 0 turns Chapter 26: 11 turns (Defense chapter) Chapter 27 Jerme: 25 turns (231 turns to this point) Chapter 28: 15 turns (Defense Chapter) Chapter 28x: 28 turns Chapter 29: 20 turns Chapter 30: 0 turns Chapter 31: 11 turns (Defense Chapter) Chapter 31x: 5 turns (technically a defense chapter) Chapter 32: 15 turns Chapter 32x: 0 turns Chapter Final 1: 8 turns Chapter Final 2: 2 turns Total summed: 335 turns or lower for 5 stars in tactics. Completely different from what I initially posted, because I assumed that I should discount turns for the defense chapters and Hector chapters, until I realized that the game still counts those, since the Defense chapters end on player phase after the last turn. A silly mistake, but I don't fully understood how the turn requirements work in this game. Any player familiar with the turn requirements can tell if 335 turns is accurate or if I missed something?
  5. 10 turns is what it takes to reach Darin and kill him possibly. If I do it in 14, that will be fine, if I can do it in less, all the better, but I will not aim too high, I have plenty of turns to spare, and it does good to get more kills for everyone.
  6. Yeah, I have been testing the waters to see what I could do and what plan should I use for this chapter, and seems like reaching both secret shops shouldn't be as much of an hassle as I initially thought. The chapter requirement is 16 turns, and I think it's possible to get to both shops by turn 14. At which point Darin is already long dead and Hector is just waiting to seize throne.
  7. Items contribute towards fund rank. Having more items means more funds. For instance, if you buy those chest keys, normally you would pay 1500, that's their full worth. If they are never used, they will keep being worth 1500, if you use them a few times, they will lose some value. But let's put that aside for now, since that's a bit unrelated to how the SIlver card operates. Now then, they are worth 1500, but if I buy them with a Silver Card, they cost you 750, but it's value is still 1500, if you don't use them, you get a free 750 towards your funds. That's why it benefits your funds. It basically allows you to buy a item for half the price, and thus gain extra value from them, as long you don't consume them, that is. So basically, is the last thing you said, in a nutshell.
  8. Actually they are a bit expensive. Door keys are the ones that are cheap (50 a piece). Chest keys cost 1500, but they give you 5 uses each and I have Silver card, so shouldn't be a problem. I would rather just loot everything for anything usefull rather than steal every thief I come across. Besides, for the funds rank, I can simply use the Silver card on the final secret shop at chapter 32 to buy a lot of expensive stuff and get more funds by doing so. But what I really need to know is if they are worth it. I have thieves to do looting, specially since I have both Legault and Matthew after this, and going from one shop to the other requires one of those annoying item trade chains, and even then, it should consume 2-3 turns to do something of the sort. In the end, if it's worth it, I could visit both, or skip on the physic one. I can just buy Physic in chapter 22 anyway, in another secret shop, so I could do whitout it for one chapter.
  9. It has been a while since I did a S rank run, and I can't seem to remember if I should bother buying the chest keys in the secret shop or not. There's also killer weapons in that shop, but I can do whitout those until chapter 26. The other secret shop has Physic staff and is closer, so guess I will just visit that one for chapter 20, maybe.
  10. Thank you. Don't know if I will be able to put it to good use, but I will see if I can make something with those.
  11. Well, for starters, there's the final chapters. I have plenty of keys, and I'm sure I can buy more at a later date if I need more. I will use those to shorten the final chapter. Just the final battle against the Fire Dragon alone has a requirement of 2 turns, so if you finish it in 1 turn, you gain 1 extra turn. And before that, against Nergal, you have a requirement of 8 turns, but it can be finished in 7, if not less. There's also the turn goldmines in chapter 23x and chapter 28x. If finished soon enough, those can give a lot of extra turns, more than enough to compensate for the future Hector only chapters 25, 30 and 32x. More than enough to make up for chapter 19x and chapter 19xx turn counts.
  12. Finished Chapter 19xx in 9 turns. That's one more turn than I was aiming for, but there will be plenty of opportunities to make up for it in the future. The total turn count stands at 101 now. The level ups for this chapter: Good, that's how it should be. Raven pulls himself together and starts getting his first good level up. I wanted more SPD, but DEF is a nice tradeoff. Nothing to see here... Marcus being Marcus, move along That will do, looking good. There's also Fiora, who got an HP gain and that's it, forgot to take a screenshot, but bad level up is bad. EDIT: Forgot to post video. here it is.
  13. Too little money? Those stats are barely better than Marcus, if at all, that's not looking good for the soon to come, lategame chapters. And I still have to spend an Elysian Whip just to promote her. No, 20000 gold is way too much for stats I already have at that point. As long she doesn't die, it's a complete playthrough that way. That's also like saying that I have to recruit Karla, when the effort to do so isn't worth it.
  14. Farina would need to be promoted with stats near or above 20 to be worth that much money. Fiora has a 50% growth, so her SPD will still be better than Farina's by the time she makes her debut.
  15. I think one could, but I don't want to waste money on her. By that point, Florina or Fiora should be promoted.
  16. Kishuna is already included on part of the plan. Lucius job was to bait mages to him and to block enemy mage reinforcements. He performed his job well. Lucius doesn't care about WTD when he has 80% hit rate. And the video just shows otherwise, he softened a good deal of mages, allowing the other units to advance and put them down. Indeed they are, but those can happen now and then. I'm pretty sure she's a bit blessed in a few stats.
  17. No. It's assumed those supports happened before he S ranks anyone, since there's no definitive timeline for any of the supports.
  18. Anyway, here's the levels for chapter 19x Meh. Another meh DEF is nice, but nothing to write home about Nice, more STR and SPD Seems like almost everyone is on a bad level up spree More DEF, Eliwood doesn't disapoint Good. Keep them coming Alright, that is a bit better. Kind of meh, but SPD and LUK do help Kent. Matthew maxes SPD but another meh level up. The lords on the other hand keep hogging all the good levels. More SPD, nice, but could have been a bit better. Finished in 12 turns. Turn count stands at 92.
  19. Lightning only has 1 point less than fire, so not much of an issue, specially when one has one of the highest MAG growths. Chapter 19x already says otherwise. Plenty of mages for Lucius to soften and bait.
  20. Not bad, but he isn't very tanky and got a few bad level ups. That's to be expected, since he has a 30% STR growth, but thanks to his bases and good growths, he's usually good, but I have other units to priotize. His MAG is good though, so how is it low ATK? 60% MAG growth and a good starting SPD base and growth of 40%. Also excellent magic tank. She's not blessed other than SPD and HP, it's the result of being lv 15. I gave her an angelic robe from her mode, that's it. Energy Ring went unused for the white gem. No, not much, used to watch when I was much younger, but I don't care much for the series. Yes, It should have been felt. No problem. Here's the video.
  21. Feelt like playing Blazing Sword again, so I finished chapter 19 with flying colors. I won't be able to post the video today, but here are the level ups. Eliwood is gaining plenty of RES, which considering his promotions gains on RES are lesser than the other 2, is a welcome addition. STR and SPD, on top of HP, makes a good level up. Gains STR and DEF, there's hope for Sain yet. Not going to be a main, so not concerned about his gains More STR and HP, it will do for now. Kent is finally regaining his momentum after a couple of bad level ups. Lucius is the growth champion for this chapter Dart gets some decent boosts. Another level for Eliwood, a bit meh, but DEF is a must for him and SPD always helps. Florina finally gets herself a level, nothing spetacular, but not bad either. Lyn utterly pulverizes boss and gets a boost to her DEF, always welcome. Good thing I had Eliwood finish off the enemy pirate before using her to attack Uhai, or he might have missed on some experience.
  22. Well, it's just a concept at the moment, so it won't seeing much notice for a while. So I thought it wouldn't hurt to mention it.
  23. Right now, I'm working on my Divine Herald project. A game that I'm developing using the SRPG studio program. Trying to grasp how to get past some walls, like finding myself better map and battle sprites, as well giving them different colors, developing original music, creating more diverse skills for the units, and finding better mapchips, also trying to figure out how to create an MP system for command based skills and magic weapons. So, I've got my work cut out for me at the moment.
  24. Bought the full version, yesterday. Now I can create more maps and other stuff. Now, I wonder where I can find an easy to use sprite editor.
