  1. Just added this to the rules on the wiki:*When a player has no units on the vanguard, all of their rearguard will do a "forced march" and move to the vanguard. This is mandatory. **As usual when moving, the units tap if they are not already tapped. **You may move all of your vanguard units to the rearguard to force all of your rearguard units to the front. Now, I have another question I only just realized. Does a forced march interrupt the action like a deck refresh does? For example, you are a attacking a rearguard with Virion and check cost 1 female Robin for support and decide to move the opponent's sole vanguard unit to the rear, what happens? Do they all march right then, or does it happen after the attack?
  2. Don't get me started on "the way things are"... Anyways, I would love to be able to play TCGs with mostly females and maybe even get cocktails while doing so, but I doubt many card shops can even afford to bar kids at any point in their business hours and the gender ratios are just...well, I think we all know what I mean by that. It's just...I'm more feminine in personality than appearance (I like my beard, thank you very much!), so I tend to get strange looks from guys sometimes, so it can be hard to cut loose with fellow males. I never really ever had such problems with females, however. Can't help but feel a tad jealous lol. Wonder if I can get in by accompanying a female and saying I'm gay (which is true, but still)? lol
  3. I can confirm there is no limit to the number of units on the field at a time. I even put it down in the comprehensive rules. Yeah, that is crazy, but you gotta remember that you can only have one unit of a character at a time, anyways (Fingers crossed that token monsters will make an appearance via Lyon from Sacred Stones! XD). And I think Kellam is the correct one as well, since they are Knights, as Tuvillo mentioned. They are the opposite of Fighters, after all.
  4. Now you guys all see what I mean by cleaning up the pages lol. Yeah, the first thing that was needed was to just get the cards up and now we gotta make them look good and all that. And yes, we need to get rid of the symbols and use abbreviations instead. Symbols were used at first as those were the shorthand for effects at the beginning and some just haven't been updated yet.
  5. It would be bad to flip bonds otherwise, then. No one would play many cars that do so, and even then, only use those abilities late game. So yeah, just need at least one face-up bond of the same color to deploy what you need.
  6. I get what Nintendo is trying to do, really, and it is cool and all, but is it really to the point where literally 50% of the population is generally uncomfortable with the other 50% in public places? Because that's kinda...sad. And this kinda stuff just means segregation and separate drinking fountains and all that. No wonder gender issues are more prominent there. Yes, yes, I get that we have more violent crime thanks to NRA lobbying to allow felons to buy guns and all that, but that doesn't mean that this is okay, people. At least this allows for skinship among people of the same gender, you know, provided they don't get attracted to the same gender... And now I feel like an overly judgmental person...Great...
  7. http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Series_1_Card_GalleryYou can alternatively go to the the files section, but that might be harder. I'll be sure to put up the starter deck ones soon, but those should keep you busy enough in the meantime, I think.
  8. More or less, yeah. Face-down bonds don't count towards color. It does even flat out say that if all your bonds are face-down, then you cannot deploy units. You gotta be careful.
  9. Well, I would love to go to an upscale bar and play cards with people, at the very least! ^^ And I don't think guys need to be barred outside of Japan seeing as our sexual harassment problem isn't close to Japan's level (though I do acknowledge our violent crime is certainly worse).I would like to go to a place where I can play children's card games without children around (lol) and maybe enjoy a nice cocktail while playing. But I do wonder if there is any place where such a bar would thrive...
  10. Action Phase is where you do all your actions. You can use ACT abilities, move, and battle all in the same phase and in any order you wish and can even go back and forth. Basically, you can attack with one unit, move another, use an ability, move another, then attack with another. You can use any action and in any order (provided it is legal, naturally. For example, cost 1 Marth has to use his ability before you do any other action). And I do assume "forced march" would mean the units moving don't tap, but I wouldn't still use that very often nevertheless as ranged units are very important.
  11. Yep, he'll give one to you when he gets your private message to him. Be sure to include what you would like as your username and thanks in advance for helping and all that!
  12. Well, I just figured that since the wording isn't "one more orb", but "2 orbs instead" then it wouldn't truly stack. I could possibly be wrong, but if I am, then the wording is very bizarre. If I can get confirmation on this, I'd be glad to add it to the comprehensive rules.
  13. Actually, that isn't a mistake. Template doesn't allow for support skills to be added as a separate thing (the ones that have it as part of the table aren't using the template and need to be fixed). Vincent is working on fixing that aspect. For now, it just has the "support skill" heading added there (which I just did). I did fix a couple of problems the page did have, though lol.
  14. http://fireemblemcipher.blogspot.com/2015/07/news-nintendo-to-host-womens-club-for.html So, it seems that Nintendo is starting to do "Women's Clubs" for this game, as they apparently have in the past for the Pokemon TCG. It seems to be for adult women only (20 or older) and seems to be something that might be occurring regularly. I think we all agree that this is cool and all that, especially if they serve alcohol like I think they might, seeing as all who can attend must be drinking age. Now, anyone can discuss whatever involving this, but what I wanna talk about is why is this necessary? I can certainly attest to the fact that places to play TCGs aren't the most inclusive places (it gets to the point where I expect at least one person to substitute the word "gay" when they mean "bad" when I go to my local card shop and yes, that is very much a pet peeve and rather offensive, even when unintentional), but is it so bad that this is needed? I'd like to hear you guys' thoughts on this. Is there something specific to Japan that makes this needed there? Also, Toiya, if you're reading this (and you likely will lol), then thank you for including that statement about the lack of confirmation about whether trans or genderfluid individuals are welcome there. It's good to see that people know that people at least care about such things. I really hope Nintendo chooses to include them. I really doubt many who would go to these places wouldn't be able to at least empathize with them wanting a place to play games while being themselves without being harassed.
  15. You mean the red links on the home page to the decks, right? If so, then you should immediately go to the editing part, since technically the pages don't exist yet. Do you have an account for the wiki? You don't have one if you only registered for the forums. Talk to Vincent here if you want an account there. If you are asking about how to add a table, like how the booster series page is, then just copy the source code there and replace info.
  16. Yep, you are correct! Since Nowi does not specify what state the bond must be in when you add it to your hand, you can add a face-down bond. In fact, as of right now, she is the only card with even an indirect ability to unreverse bonds. She's a R for a reason. Previous version stays under the new card. And yes, it will stack if you keep doing it.
  17. I assume that it is also in order of their set number in the starter deck? As in "B01-003HN Crown Prince of Altea, Marth" is S01-006ST? The card entries need to go by that, as well. On another note, does anyone know where I can find high quality non-sample images of the promos and the + cards? Gotta have those for documentation purposes and all that.
  18. Well, yeah, but if Cipher does indeed do well enough in Japan, wouldn't they be crazy not to make an English version? And the character designer has, at the very least, a position which enables him to push with a good deal of influence when it comes to business decisions. He at least has more clout than Randy, the coffee-getting monkey, I mean intern. And Cipher is doing well in Japan right now, if the sizes and number of tournaments are an indicator. People are taking up this game rather quickly.
  19. Hopefully, the attachment below works (I have yet to try it on mobile). It shows that keeping all the cards of a character on the same page has won out, barely (2 votes). Naturally, if for some unforeseen reason that we can no longer do that, we will transition, but it stands as it does now. By the way, for these pages, can we agree to go in order of set number? Just seems logical. If the cards come from another set, then the cards will go in another section on the same page (as I have already started when I added the starter deck cards).
  20. Yeah, this is what I mean when talking about using the same terms for every page when cleaning them up. Her effect is before you even attack with her.
  21. Translations are still important as sometimes another language gets info before our language. Buddyfight from the very beginning released at the same time in both English and Japanese and Japanese translators are still needed. Heck, some cards are revealed in English before Japanese. And Cipher is likely going to start 6-9 months behind, so the translations would be nice to prepare for when we get the cards. And yeah, I am very glad Kozaki gave English players actual hope than a vague, crap answer.
  22. It would go under "set number", naturally, but yeah, that is the idea. And I have zero clue what cards are also in the starter decks, so that info would be nice, too.
  23. Thank you! Please do that. Side note: it is now official. Every series 1 card (including starter deck and promos) is on the wiki, translations and everything! I finished it off myself! All that is really left is alternate artwork and + cards, which we need to figure out how we want to input them in. We also need to clean up the pages. This includes: *templates instead of raw data on all the pages (some have the template, some do not, basically) *same terms used for every page (some pages use different terms for the same thing) *every category a card is supposed to belong to is on the page (some pages are missing categories) *cards that are also in the starter deck need to reflect as much on the page (some cards also come in the starter deck, in addition to them being in the booster set and the card entries do not say that) I will also post this on the topic about updating the wiki. I just don't wanna be the only one doing this... q.q
  24. I would imagine the first does indeed apply, but does the latter? I mean, in WS (which has a similar color rule), effect calls are unaffected by the rule, so I feel that it isn't a given. Has IS said anything about it, specifically? If they haven't, then I feel an email would be in order then.Either way, whatever the rule is, I will be sure to add it. And for that matter, what about the unlikely situation where a player has no cards in their deck AND retreat area? Does the player lose then?
  25. Actually, after I made that comment, I went back and added a few notes for clarification. I mean, I felt it was already covered, but you can never be too careful (and it isn't like crap like this never happened to me lol). Though, yeah, the turn order was totally covered before lol. Anyways, the rule is "you cannot control more than one unit of the same character at at time, except by effects (thanks Anna)" and Elice's effect should be a deployment (same with Palla, Catria, and Est), but you do have a point when they don't say that. I also haven't heard many rulings when it comes to effects like that (like "do color restrictions still apply to units deploy by effects like that?").
