  1. Oh yeah, the Shenmue 3 kickstarter (for the moment until I post this or just look back at it :3), has gotten $943,190 at this point. That is pretty much half of the kickstarter goal, $2,000,000! Wow, people really want Shemue 3!
  2. Ok, Sony just...brought all the hype! I mean the hype just kept going and going and going! And the end was just golden (herp derp moment there Sony)! Sony just became top Dog of E3 (they brought out the big guns tonight)! Nintendo is gonna have to have some REALLY big stuff to the table to beat Sony. ......Before I give my predictions for Nintendo's presentation tomorrow , I'm gonna let the hype calm down a bit. If you'll excuse me for a moment...... *ahem* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. You know, watching the presentations while watching someone (*joshscorcher*) stream their live reactions to it on Youtube makes things more entertaining (especially when they take out their 3DS to play smash when things get boring or cringing, which leads everyone else to do so......that was how I spent 70- 80 percent of EA's presentation).
  4. Ubisoft...oh Ubisoft. Better than EA's presentation, but not by a large margin. And Aisha Tyler, you were ok, but you could be better. ......I'm sorry, but I really want to get to Sony now (and maybe some KH3 info :P).
  5. Just finished watching the EA presentation and......90 percent of it was BOOORRRIIINNNGGG!!! The other 10 percent that was good was Stars Wars and Mirrors Edge: Catalyst. This the 2nd E3 I've watched (first was last year, 2014. But I only watched Nintendo's), but the first EA presentation I watched. I always heard how bad they were, but dear lord...I didn't think it would be THAT bad! Next is Ubisoft (my first presentation too)...... I hope that one is better...please God, let me survive to Sony.
  6. Nintendo must have sone amazing news this year, considering all the directs and annocements they've been having the past few day. I wonder what they have up their sleeves......hopefully a new Metroid game! :P
  7. Welp, the Microsoft Presentation (or Press Conference) just finished a couple minutes ago and I have to say it was pretty good...half of it any way (give or take a little). Highlights: 1.There was no mention of the Kinect or Call of Duty 2.X1 has backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games now (very smart move) 3.ReCore seems to have a pretty cool concept (Not mention that the director from Metroid Prime is on board :P ) 4.Rise of the Tomb Raider: EVERYTHING WAS TRYING TO KILL LAURA!!! Dear lord... 5. The name of the game kinda went by quick, but I think it was called "Eyes of" something. The one where the girl is blind and its really colorful and you can't see far (you yourself), yeah that seemed pretty cool. 6.Cupboard (hope I got that right): I thought I was watching an old styled cartoon, but no, it was a game and it looked awesome & hectic & funny! I loved seeing that! 7. Indie games looked good (wish I could've seen more of it). 8.They brought out a Car...for a video game expo......that was a good laugh :3. I may have missed something, but yeah, it was a good presentation. However, I thing Bethesda is still top dog right now at E3 (oh yeah, they showed off Fallout 4 again). Next is EA......this should be good.
  8. Darn it, I keep forgetting that there are different time zones. 9:30 here is 6:30 in Los Angelos,California. Welp, got 3 hours to kill until the Microsoft presentation. :P
  9. Ok everyone, E3 is here! With all sorts of hype going around (with the presentation from Betheda last night increasing it), I just wanted to see what others were hoping to see in 2015 E3 and how you feel about it after everything is shown and done. While I am focusing on Nintendo, if you guys want to bring up other companies' presentation, go right ahead (just please don't start a war in the fourms, thank you). I really want to see what other people's opinion are! While I will give my thoughts and opinions later, I will say that Bethesda (and the Nintendo World Championship) started things out pretty well (even if FPS's aren't really my thing)!
  10. My picks: Hard - I love a good challenge! I can be crazy, but I'm no lunatic! Classic - Been this way since FE 07: Blazing Sword, not changing it now! Reset - No dies in my army! Little Grinding - Ready myself a bit more. Nohr- Kinda had my vote from near the get-go. A campaign where you're revolutionizing an army from the inside of a nation is pretty persuading! Also......WYVERN RIDERS FTW!!! (I love Wyvern riders, especially since I first played Path of Radiance and I got Jill, who, for me anyway, was one of my 5 strongest units in my whole army by endgame!)
  11. Thanks Baldrick! I greatly appreciate the info/heads-up!
  12. In my opinion: Lyn>Ephraim>Hector>Eliwood=Eirika>Roy (Not a great explaination, but it's good enough...I hope) Lyn has left a major impression on me since my first playthrough of 7, not to mention she's a unit who's not only a dodge master, but also a hard-hitting crit master (especially with Florina support). Ephraim (for the Gba lords anyway) is close behind Lyn. Maybe not character wise, but pretty close. He's my second favorite lance user (first being Nephenne). Hector already gained points from me for being a powerhouse (and kinda a tank too), but he's a guy you would like as a friend. Hector is a pretty cool guy. Eliwood and Eirika are kinda on even plain for me. Both are pretty good units and as characters are good, but don't stand up to the other 3. I favor Eliwood a bit higher though, since he seems more capable on by himself than Eirika at times (and in the Beginning of Binding Blade, if not for a cold, he would've handled a group of bandits ...by himself. Something I can picture him doing). Roy is like Eliwood, but a bit less of what makes Eliwood good. Him as a unit can go either way, good or bad (thankfully, he's been pretty good for me). Also, he doesn't have much in character development, so there isn't much to know about him unless you see his supports (more or less).
  13. Thank you, Mekkah. While I would like to go in blind, just to be on the safe side, do you know anything I should be worried about, cautious of doing, or just be ready for? Anything helps.
  14. Hello everybody! My name is BusterMan64 and I'm new to Serene Forest (the forums anyway)! I'm not that experienced when it comes to forums and stuff, so a tip here and there would help. Anyway, a little about me. I'm a pretty cheerful person and I'm more of a gamer guy than a anime guy. I love Fire Emblem (with a passion) as well as Megaman Battle Network, Suikoden, Etrian Odyssey, Phoenix Wright, any Tales of . Games, and most games from Atlus & Nintendo! Ahh...anything else......oh! I like hearing other people's thoughts on certain things ( and sharing them too)! (This probably isn't the best way introduce myself. I'm not that great with introductions, sorry.) I hope to have fun and talk with many interesting people here in the forest! (And I think Lyn and Ike are the two most coolest and most awesome main protagonist in the Fire Emblem series! Character and Unit wise.)
  15. While I am quite surprised at what we are getting(the little that we know and GameXplain giving interesting things to think about), my hype is high, hopes are high, and I pray for a great game (story, gameplay, characters, and all)!
  16. Hi, I'm Busterman64 and I'm new to Serene Forest (the forums anyway). I've recently had a major Fire Emblem rush and have been playing it kinda non-stop the past couple of weeks (with the start of summer and all). (I beat Blazing Sword 2 weeks ago and I am currently playing Binding Blade, a game I love and kinda hate). Since I've been in a Fire Emblem mood, I've been hearing that FE: Genealogy of the Holy War is pretty good (and I think Thracia 776 too). For someone like me who's played FE 6-11 & 13, (and grew up on 7 & 8) What's it like? I hear there is a patch and I'm interested in playing, but I kinda want to know what to expect. Please and thank you!
