  1. Huh. That's weird. My Fir is actually pretty tanky against magic(she has like around 17 Res.). Guess RNG strikes again! Anywho, from my group(all around level 20, minus Felicia, who is Level 7 and Robin, who is Level 28): Fir(Res.19) Clarine(Res.21) Niles(Res.22) Tharja(Res.15) She's fast though, more so with a skill. Lissa(Res.17) Felicia(Res.11) Robin(Res.18) Gwendolyn(Res 17...How? I have NO clue!)
  2. That would be cool. It'd be interesting to have a Lord with a mount starting out. Although part of me also wants a Dark Mage Lord sometime in the future!
  3. Hey, another person in Georgia! Nice! (Also, there's a Smash Community in Georgia? Where have I been?! ) Anywho, Welcome to the forest friend! If you have any questions, ask if you need to! Also, mentioned already, but you actually picked the same profile picture as someone else, who is actually a friend of mine on here(she's a big fan of Ike). It's kinda funny since this is the first time I've seen that happen(and consider there are thousands of people on here...it's interesting to say the least)! It's not too big of an issue, but people might confuse you two if they mainly look at the profile picture to identify you(which a good amount of people do). Anywho, I hope you enjoy yourself and we get along(and enjoy talking about...well...FE related stuff! As well as other stuff too)!
  4. For the longest time I've tried to get through FE11, but the farthest I've made it is chapter 3. You'd think I'd stop trying after trying for a few years, but for some reason I just can't help but want to beat the game...at least once! There is always some push within myself to try and make it through the game and hopefully, I do one day. Thing is, I've been curious about FE12 for a bit, but with FE11 in mind, I'm not sure what to think. So, is it much better? Who knows, if it's any better, it might drive me to beat the game a bit faster! (Besides, with the Gaiden Remake coming soon, I might want to try beating it before May or risk putting if off for a couple of months again!) Thanks in advance!
  5. Lyon, Jaffar, Black Knight, Shiharam, and the most requested character of them all......OLIVER(and he's beautiful theme)!
  6. True, looking at Aran's and Danved's(or was it Devdan), there isn't much reason for her to have her legs and tights shown really(although she has more of helmet then devdan...I mean Danved has).
  7. Huh...well I learned a lot today! Quite an interesting read! I never really thought about there armor much before. I will say, the dong plate isn't too bad for The Black Knight or Zelgius since they're not the fastest guys around and well...don't wanna have cheap shots, ya know? As for armor knights...eh...I think they can only do so much. That's why they need shields. The ones in Awakening and Fates have the better protection, I will admit(although I think the helmets of the generic knights, while it protects their heads, it kinda kills their vision, which may screw them over). However, it makes the armor much heavier, so you need someone stronger in order to hold it up(which is probably why you never see or get many armored knights. There are probably not too many soldiers who can handle all that armor and do the job well). Lastly, looking at almost all of the armor designs, I've noticed...a lot of the armor has either the thighs and/or waist(or kidneys) exposed in some way or form. I think it's kinda hard to make armor that protects those areas(not to mention GOOD armor) since everyone's sizes are different. The upper torso probably isn't as hard since, for some armor, you just mainly need to strap the front and back piece together or or slip into the whole armor. Besides, with more armor that's more weight, and depending on what class you are, that could be a possible detrimate. Sturdier pieces of armor is most likely heavier, so while they need good armor, they need still movability. Don't really excuse the huge pauldrons much though... Then again, most armor is better then no armor(but I guess it depends on the fighting style). Think the reason why most people don't flank the games for it(other then not a lot of people playing it) is probably because...well...it never came to mind. That and the characters themselves don't clash too hard against their design(...well, except IIyana's mini-skirt, can't really defend that. Still love her though ). They looked more cool then anything else, so maybe that's another reason...
  8. I saw that too. It kinda saddens me that's part of reason why he hasn't done an LP of a game in the series yet. Like @phineas81707 said, because of the type of Charisma he has, he has a tendency to change the outlooks of some thoughts on a game. You'd be surprised how many people actually get a game just because of his LPs! I hope he does one in the future, which ever one he does(although, if it's of Fates, he should let the heat around that game cool down some more before he does). I also imagine that part of his other reason is that RNG rules all. He can plan out most things in other RPG's and other games, but FE's games, depends somewhat on the game, is VERY unpredictable! And unless it's on Casual Mode, he's at risk of losing unit. And if he's like a lot of others, a unit death=reset, something that's quite time consuming for an LP(and unlike some games, he can't really do practice runs as easy either. It won't help as much). I really hope that doesn't hold him back from doing an Lp, since his has a tendency to be very informational lot of the time(which I, and many others, have come to enjoy)! As for the fanbase, as much as I want there to be more unity, I imagine it's something that will more rely on IS's part. Games like the Gaiden remake seems like a move to bridge a gap between the two divisions. With a lot the "Waifu" slogan being thrown around starting Awakening and it honestly being amped up in Fates, I think it's something they want to try to minimize a bit. I will be first to say that, while not the worst thing in world, I think it should be tamed down a bit, but not gone. Just so both won't call "foul" or anything like that(if that makes sense)! There needs to be a bit of a balance between certain things for the sake of both sides(although, I kinda wish there wasn't a "two sides" honestly). I will admit I think the older games are a bit better rounded then the newer games as a whole(and my issues with the newer AND older games may or may not be strong), but at the same time, I'm not so blind to see that both Awakening and Fates, despite their issues, are good games. I think people try to dictate what "should be" and not what "can be". Other opinions shouldn't be bashed just because they don't match with yours, but also that there isn't anything wrong with constructive criticism because I feel some fans of the newer games have to defend themselves in a way against those who complain about the newer ones at all. Also, I think the minority kinda makes the issue worse then it is. It's like someone's shadow looks much bigger then many others, but it's just because of how it's portrayed. Heck, there's was a guy who I saw in YT comments of a FE video(won't specifically say which one) who tried to defend Corrin on not being as bad as a lot think he is, but because of how he did it, it rubbed us all who read his stuff the wrong way, which kinda started an argument(and how he came off was kinda how I said before, what "should be" not what "can be"). He was being unreasonable. Even though someone else who liked Corrin like him said they could see why people might not like him(but that didn't help much)! It was only when someone said something that was similar to his opinion was when he seemed cool headed. I am NOT trying to say everyone who's a new fan is like that(GOD NO! THAT would be quite insulting and I would be mad at myself if I ever did that), but I imagine some people out there are, which kinda start up the flames with other people and lead us to part of the issue with the fandom right now! Do I think this issue can ever be remedied? No. I doubt it ever will. No matter the fanbase, there will be conflicting issues no matter what you do. Do I think the issue will be minimized? Yes. While problems may always be there(unfortunately), I feel like with time and understanding, the issue will slowly grow smaller and won't be as bad as it is now. I think once we get into a good swing of things(something I hope the Gaiden remake starts), we won't have such of a big issue. I love this series and I want it to grow to even better heights, but I don't want a giant division to ruin that. This. THIS is an issue that unfortunately EVERY fanbase has! And with the FE series as big as it is now, it's not a surprise that is now what it has. And seeing how there are two sides, it makes the flames even bolder then it if it was just one! I think if the options to play all the games became more easy to access(the Tellius games being a prime example), it would help a bit. It's a bit of a crazy stretch, but if every game had a remake and "Casual Mode" added to it, it would help those who had issue getting into the older games, while still mostly maintaining what made those games good/enjoyable!
  9. Dang it, you beat me to this! I was planning on doing after the FE Heroes polls, but I guess I waited too long! Still need to do the polls for the other games before I forget!
  10. Female Robin, Cordelia, Lon'qu, Olivia don't look as...defined as everyone else(and kinda doesn't fit them well). Even more so when next to characters like Robin, Leo, Lucina, Laslow, Tiki(adult), and so on(who honestly look as good as they should)! Ursala's is fine until you look at her eyes...it looks like she's trying to look into someone's soul(or she know's the Fairy Type gym leader in Kalos quite well)! Odin's is a little...odd...to me. Something about it irks me and I'm not exactly sure what exactly... While characters with the oldish look to them like Gunther and Jeagan are not my favorites, Zephiel kinda is the low point on that boat. It doesn't work as well for him as it does say Jeagan(who to me, looks the best with that artstyle). He kinda lacks...intimidation.
  11. Well...why not both? Either follow the main class line or go along another path. Can't speak much on balance or difficulty modes since I haven't played Gaiden, but I'm sure the modes will be there!
  12. Not much to say. Saw it. Liked it. Shared it. Hope you like it! .
  13. I've only played Conquest, so I'm limited only to that game(although Takumi is pretty good from what I've seen). Despite him only being exclusive to Corrin/Avatar only, I'm gonna be the odd man and say Shura(but I also say Nyx as well). To bring up his support(forgive me for any inaccuracies), Shura is a thief who's life, and old home, is completely token from him. He becomes a thief in hopes of one day restoring his home town to it's former glory. It's his main goal in life as of this point. However, he realizes that even if he does restore the town, it wouldn't be the same. It wouldn't have the "soul" it had before it was destroyed. Corrin does bring up that while it'll never be the same, he could make a new and better town then it was before, which Shrua sees as a better goal! Shura originally comes off as some petty thief, but he's actually a pretty sad character. He misses what used to be, but he knows he'll never see something quite like it again...no matter how much he wants things to got back to how it was. Yet, he tries to rebuild his home, pretty much by himself. That takes a lot of drive and devotion to do! He's interesting, but unfortunately, he can only support with Corrin. It saddens me since now I'm more intrigued by what kind of guy Shura is! I want to know more about him, but he only gets one support, which is a BIG missed opportunity(especially since he's the one that kidnapped Azure as a kid, an action he seems to regret)! It's something that probably is because Shura can't really talk to anyone else unless maybe he marries them or something(similar to Say'ri from Awakening). They have potential for other supports, but they're restricted to the Avatar! ...sigh...Anywho, I think that makes him pretty well written. He's written to a point that makes me want to know more about him. He comes off one way, but is actually another( I know that happens a lot, but I feel like there's a bit more here though)!
  14. Seeing how I have no experience with Gaiden whatsoever, it'll be an interesting trip for me! I like the idea that you start out pretty much making your own team! It seems really cool!
  15. While a fun fact, this is something I feel like will be more valuable to those playing PoR for the first time. In the menu where your characters are shown in a line, scroll 6 pages over to the conversations page. This will let you know who can have a conversation with who. This goes for just normal chit-chat, but it also goes for characters that can recruit a new character! Not too sure who can recruit a certain character, open up the menu, scroll over to the "Conversation" page and you'll have your answers! No guide needed! (It's helpful since not everyone can be recruited via Ike). ...although, it doesn't help you much on Chapter 18, which requires you to speak with said recruitable character with a specific person first(here's a hint for who that is...Rolf) , and then you MUST defeat said recruit with Ike afterwards(it has to be Ike), and you get them after the battle is over...it makes sense why afterwards, but I don't know how they imagined first time players figuring this crap out seeing how killing/defeating recruits is usually a BAD thing! It's a bit of an issue. Not too bad, but it can screw you over a bit(and I think in the JPN version of Maniac mode, you'll be screwed 1 out of 3 good characters in a Prison chapter, since they won't escape if you don't talk to them with a specific character...which, unlike the other modes where you just need to open their cell doors and end the chapter, it is REQUIRED in that mode to get them to escape first)!
  16. Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Awakening and Fates are still good games, but I found the older games, while not super grand, were a bit more better rounded as a whole. I might not hate either, but dislike...kinda hard to say...might be Fates. Gameplay is more solid in Fates, but stuff like the story and some of the writing(not all, some of it is really good and/or pretty alright) is subpar honestly. It had some good moments, but they were a bit far and between. Awakening's gameplay might not be too solid, but I find it a bit better rounded in story and writing.
  17. I glad you liked it! It's my favorite game in the series, and for good reason! There is a lot of depth to a lot of things and people. It makes everything more vibrate, alive, and above all, relateable! (And it make you actually think about certain things as well!) Not only that, but gameplay wise, it's really enjoyable! It's the game I've played the most and feel like you could use pretty much anyone if you wanted(and this is probably the only game where I can actually name almost EVERY character in it! It's that memorable for me)! I must say this now though...RD makes some tweeks and really improves gameplay(it's a freakin' blast). Skills can be token off and they won't disappear,(you keep them and can put them on someone else...THANK. GOD!), the forge can make as many weapons as you want(no longer restriced to once a chapter! Oh, and now knives are forgeable), as well as a couple other things, but I'll let you see them for yourself! However...writing takes a bit of a step back(it has some issue here and there). It's still good mind you, but it doesn't stand as tall like in PoR. (It doesn't drop the ball thankfully.) I think you'll still enjoy it though! (If you need any tips, let us know!) Don't blame ya in the slightest! Not only is RNG against you, you actually have a time limit to that fight! Yeah! After 10 or so turns(maybe 15), the fight ends and you end up with Ena! So if Aether doesn't happen even once, your boned! I've been lucky enough to never lose and get Ena, but I've had close calls. And let's not forget that it's connected to chapter 27(which is already a pretty long chapter...without a moment to save(something I wish they at least gave you! Could've called the save "Chapter 27: Part 2)! It's one of the few glaring things that kinda stain this nearly flawless game(if this game ever gets a remake, I pray to God it does, they should fix that somehow)! Oh, and Laguz get a somewhat better in RD(the gauged is increased from 20 to 30 and it fills up a bit faster. The fill varies for different species like how cats fill by +10 per turn, +15 if attacked. [EDIT:You also have more ways to fill up their gauges faster and/or keep them in their forms longer...or keep them in their transformations for the whole battle...that last item is only really available when closer to endgame though . Royals as always have skills, not bands this time, to keep them in beast form at all times]). Not by a large margin, but noticeable enough!
  18. Now as we all know, the skill system has been in Fire Emblem for almost the entire series(I believe starting in...FE4...maybe...haven't played FE3). It honestly didn't really hit it's stride till FE9(and REALLY taking off in FE10)...and here we are now. (Also, just to say now, my best points of references are gonna be FE9 and FE10. So unless FE4 differs in a way, let me know please) Now, as a whole, the skill system pretty much broadens the capabilities of your units in various ways. From skills like Wrath that raises your crit rate when at low health, or Vantage that allows you to attack first in battle, or even Aether which...well...most of you know. Pre Awakening, skills were only there to change very small (but possibly significant) things in battle. Awakening and Fates made skills that not only has even more skills that fit a class, but they allow you to equip a whole range of skills as well! It's a really cool system, however...I feel like maybe they've gotten a bit too...broad. What I mean is that it kinda has come to a point where skills have gone from "abilities that help give you an extra edge in battle" to "abilities that will determine a battle". Skills usually help you in small, but somewhat big way. However, I feel like some of the new skills kinda throw a whole new wrench into tactics. It's like the skills play more of a factor then the character's stats do...if that makes enough sense. Look at the skills in RD and look at the ones in Fates to compare them. (Sorry in advance since there is a LOT! Also, didn't have Awakening part of this since most of the skills in that game are in Fates, so..yeah.) Radiant Dawn Skills Fates's Skills Notice how the skills in RD are much more...simplified. Also, minus Mastery skills, they give small boosts and may help you in certain situations. For the ones in Fates, there are SO many skills that do SO many things and while some do give small boost, others...give you major boosts in capabilities. So much so that just having them equip can really determine how things will go in a fight! Now to be fair, I think my feelings toward the skills more got to do with stuff like reclassing that lets you grind for skills of almost any class and MyCastle...which literally lets you buy them! This allows you to put whatever skills you wanted on any unit without much restriction. In FE9 and FE10, you could equip certain skills to your units, but you were quite limited in who could get what. Only skills like Shove, class skills, and mastery skills were guaranteed to you(well, more so in FE10). Everything else, either you were one of the few units who came pre-equiped with that skills or you had to wait till you acquired that skill in order to equip it. Even then, you were limited by your capacity(pretty much your badge points from Paper Mario or kinda like say Materia from Final Fantasy 7 in a way). Each skill had a certain "capacity" to them. Most characters started out with around 20 capacity(kinda varies on the class), but you were given more when promoted(also, while the capacity is quite high for some skills, for those who may not know, you had three class tiers in RD. By third tier, you get 60 capacity...although some of that is token up by your master skill, so more so around 30, which was still enough for at least maybe 2 or 3 skills). That means you were limited in what skills you could get and how many you could get....which for RD was ESPECIALLY needed since a lot of these activated by skill (no, the hit rate one ) and you're most likely capping most of your stats by endgame(most characters skill cap around 50 or so) sooo....you kinda become destruction incarnate(even more so when you combine certain skills together on certain units)! ...And it was glorious... While Skills did help you gain an edge in battle, or even help someone be more effective in battle, your own abilities were the main factors in a fight. They weren't always active and while sometimes they did activate, sometimes they didn't. You had to rely on your own fighting ability to make it through a fight if the skills weren't active(although, sometimes they could even activate at the right time and save your unit's life). Now, is this system completely balanced? Probably not, but it did limit what skills could be on a character and you couldn't just throw whatever you wanted on them...making so that you couldn't put the best skills on almost every person and blaze through enemy line(that's what your main stats were for )! Is that to say I hate the current skill system? No. I think it's pretty cool and gives you a bit more freedom, but since almost everyone has access to all these skills and can possibly all have them on at the same time...tactics could possibly take a back seat(and kinda gives you a bit too much freedom). It's quite flawed(I mean both kinda are, but it's more glaring with this current system). Personally, I would wish for the skill system in RD to come back(specifically the one in RD since in PoR/FE9, you could still equip skills, but if you took them off, you would lose them for good and the game never tells you this for whatever freakin' reason...WHY PoR, WHY?! In RD, they thankfully fixed that and let you take off and put on skills as much as you want...so if you weren't using a specific character, but they had a good skill like Paragon or Blossom...or both, you could take it off them and stick it on someone else that you're using) OR...maybe somehow fuse the two systems together! Of course, this will kinda depends on how future games structures itself, but I think they could still work it in somehow...especially with more powerful hard ware and ram(?) then the the 3DS (Like for example...you have 6 skills slots. 3 are reserved for Shove the best skill for everyone, your class skill, and your mastery skill. You can equip whatever skill you wanted on the other three...as long as you have that skill to equip in the first place)! And those are my general thoughts on the Skill system and what to possibly do with this system in the future. Soooooo...what do ya think? Think this is a good idea, a bad idea, a stupid idea? I like hearing other thoughts and ideas!
  19. It's a good game(structurally...mostly anyway), but the RNG is wonky as all heck(it has other issues, but that's the main one)! It's literally the thing that keeps me, and probably many others, from really liking this game. (Also, thrones in FE6 give the bosses much bigger bonuses then say FE7.) If it interests you(and your drive to playthrough the game has reached it's end), you could try getting a rebalance hack for FE6 here on the Forums. Haven't tried it myself, but it pretty much gives it the system FE7 has, which is FE6's but WAY more polished and refined! (Had to look for it manually since the main forum's list of links in the "Fan Hack Directory" aren't working properly right now)
  20. These are some cool ideas! I think if the whole reclassing thing was a bit more limited, it would help keep some individuality among the army. My own idea is to limit how many times a unit can reclass as a whole. Most units should only be allowed to reclass one or two times. Villagers would have about 2 or 3 since they don't have a certain class to stick to starting out(but is that technically reclassing or kinda more like trainees from SS, but instead they have access to all the classes starting out...hhhmmm...something to ponder on...). After that, you're stuck to that class line for the rest of the playthrough(of course the game should warn you about this for the sake of you not possibly getting screwed over). That way people can reclass those who they want to to better positions, but also still limit their possible options. Oh lord...I just thought about a team with Galeforce and a dancer...*shiver* Also, wow....completely forgot you can get skills from other Castles. It's quite easy to do to. As an example, and confession, when starting out, I fought some in their MyCastle and won. I saw the skill "Death Blow" on their Effie(Crit rate +20). Since I had barely any knowledge on class skills(and near the beginning of the game), I thought it was a skill she got later and pretty much said "it wouldn't hurt if she got this early!" It wasn't till much later when I found out it was skill that belonged to the Oni Chieftan, a promoted class(how they got that when they were around my low levels...in February when the game came out, I do not know). And...I kept it on regardless. Course, that only activates when you start combat, so it's the least offense. But the point still stands. It's just as easy as saying "mine"! I think reclassing is an alright concept, but I think limiting access to skills and classes could make it more balanced. Like limit every unit to 1 or 2 reclasses for a playthrough(2 or 3 for villagers since they technically don't have a class line) and probably cut the ability to buy skills. It would still allow reclassing and getting skills from other classes, but you couldn't get too crazy with it! That's actually a very interesting way of looking at it. With that in mind, that makes my idea to limit how many times a unit can reclass as a whole during a playthrough( to about 1 or 2 times for most, 2 or 3 for villagers) could work. It would limit how many times you could reclass a unit, but the options are still there( just a bit more limited in possibilities with stuff like skills).
  21. Like I said, skills are not the main issue, only part of it(In Awakening, it was Stats AND Skills that you needed to worry about. In Fates, Skills kinda play a bigger factor since you can have handicaps on stats for both teams to make things more fair. I brought up both games to show they both were not very balanced...Awakening especially, but it was being more experimental. Fates "tried" to refine it, but the system is still pretty broken as a whole...and like I also said, not in a fun, enjoyable way). It's not just the skills themselves, it's that almost everyone has access to those skills(with enough grinding)! Also, this goes for both offline and online functionalities. For offline(playing solo), you can reclass and grind as much as you want(and get the stats and skills you want) to make your units pretty unstoppable, removing almost all challenge. For online, unless you decided to grind for the best skills as well, good luck finding a match where units don't have skills from various different classes that will ultimately make quick work of your team! And if you're like me, who doesn't go for reclassing much and have everyone stick to their main classes, you're at a major disadvantage! Minus personal skills, you have 5 skills slots that could be filled with almost any skill in the game, and seeing how almost every class has that one(or possibly 2) skill(s) that gives them an edge in battle(and possible help them to do better), the tides can EASILY be turned from just having certain skills! So if I want any chance of winning at all, I need to grind for skills! It makes MyCastle and Wireless Battles so unfair and not really enjoyable! (And while these skills aren't probably the best examples, they are the ones that quickly come to mind for me. Besides, with Replicate, even if your unit dies if the replica dies, it kinda doesn't help if the almost the entire team can do it. You will be overpowered...I know this for a fact, it's happened to me.)
  22. Man, I'm in such a "share my opinions" mood lately! Anywho, this is my personal thoughts on reclassing and grinding. Now let me get the lesser of the two out of the way...grinding. At first I wasn't too fond of it, especially with Awakening and Fates, but after a while...I realized, I...actually don't have too much of an issue with it. It's been in the series since, well, the arena was introduced. Not only that, I enjoy grinding the arena in the GBA games, and for Sacred Stones, while I personally try to keep it to minimum, I never found it too much of an issue. Sure you have more freedom to do so in Awakening and Fates, but it's just as part of series as a lot of other things(it has RPG in SRPG for goodness sake, it can't help it )! Thinking about it, the issue really came from the other main topic...Reclassing. Ok, I'm gonna be blunt here. Reclassing is kinda broken in my eyes. Even though Fates tried to fine tune things, it's still kinda a broken system as a whole. It allows you to grind and grind and grind till you get all the stats and skills you want. It kinda breaks the game...but not in "fun" kind of way. Especially since some skills are kinda broken all on their own. For example(and I know Awakening wasn't as fine tuned and was experimenting with this new thing), Counter was BROKEN since ALL physical attacks deal back the damage dealt to a unit. All you need to do is reclass a unit multiple times to raise their resistance to a high degree, stick a bow on them, and you have a unit that's pretty much untouchable in almost every sense of the word! Galeforce lets you move again if you kill another unit(it's pretty much the #1 skill in Awakening because almost EVERYONE goes for that skill)! I don't need to say more on that. Nuff said. In Fates, Replicate lets you make 1 copy of yourself, pretty much making another unit to control...another skill I probably don't to elaborate how broken that can get. The seal skills, all of them can make your foes so feeble. Lethality, for both games, seeing it's possible for a one hit kill...hopefully I've made a point here. Now to be fair, the skills aren't the main issue, it's that it's pretty easy for most units to access these skills! To bring up Sacred Stones again for a second, while you could grind to your hearts content, you could only grind till level 20/20 and then you were done since you could go any higher then that and you couldn't change your class and start again from level 01 or Level 20/01 with most of your previous stats intact. Sure it made the game easier to break, but not to the levels of Awakening and Fates. So...why do I care? Its optional, so it shouldn't be such a big deal, right? Well, like I said, it breaks the game to no end. That and, I know it's an extra feature but, facing others in MyCastle and Wireless battles(or Streetpass battles from Awakening) means I have to deal with that almost all the time! I'm the kind of guy that prefers to keep everyone in their main classes and keep their main skills. However, everyone online has such powerful skills that I either have to pray for a miracle or hope that I fight someone who stuck to the original character classes and skills like me in order to win/stand a chance! I mean, why use tactics when having the best skills on almost every character can get the job done all on it's own! And that's another issue...originality. Reclassing kinda makes some characters lose some of the uniqueness they may have had. It also kind of in turns makes them more like numbers then relateable people(although that's kinda more prominent in Awakening honestly. It's still in Fates, but maybe not as much). I don't hate reclassing, but it's quite unbalanced. Even with Fates, it's pretty bad. I know it can help some characters to do better(because some characters like Felicia can kinda lose steam halfway through the game), but that isn't the most likely reason people like(or use) reclassing. If they have something like streetpass or Mycastle or wireless battles in FE15, my enthusiastic drops when I consider how little chances I have when everyone can grind stats and skills to be the best...again. That's just how I feel about it though... ...so, any thoughts? Agree, disagree, do my opinions suck ? Tell me your thoughts(if you want). I'm curious to see what others think!
  23. Rebecca is pretty high up there on my personal archers list! Now if she's my favorite...maybe? I haven't really put a lot of thought into it before. She actually might be thinking about it! I'm still proud of him for getting so close despite the vote split! Heck, any character that had vote splits(Mia, Ike, Nepheene, Soren, etc) yet they still got such a high place makes me proud of them! There is such a gap between everyone and the top 3, it's quite amazing! Even then, you have to realize that she and Lucina were the only ones who gave Ike some competition! For the combined votes: 3 - Ike - 51555 1 - Lyn - 49917 2 - Lucina - 48295 4 - Tharja - 29540 5 - Roy - 28982 6 - Hector - 27372 9 - Corrin (both) - 27290 7 - Camilla - 25766 12 - Marth - 24547 16 - Robin (both) - 24536 8 - Chrom - 23803 There's a 2000 vote gap between Ike and Lyn, 3000 between Ike and Lucina, and a 30,000 vote gap between Ike and Tharja(the same with Lyn and Lucina)! Ike, Lyn, and Lucina were in a League WAY of their own! Even without the fusion of votes: Placing Character Game Total Votes 1 Lyn The Blazing Blade 49917 2 Lucina Awakening 42875 3 Ike Path of Radiance 33871 4 Tharja Awakening 29540 5 Roy The Binding Blade 28982 6 Hector The Blazing Blade 26557 7 Camilla Fates 25766 8 Chrom Awakening 23803 9 Corrin (female) Fates 19599 10 Ike Radiant Dawn 17684 They stood high above the rest with quite a gap! I'm so happy for those 3!
