  1. And I wanna know what I should be spending my 10K in gold on. I literally used all my gold beforehand to buy resources like tonics and whatnot and get the two javelins available from the lvl1 shop to give my MU Spear Fighter and Effie/Silas a Javelin. Now I wanna know what should I use the 10K on in case there's anymore problematic and brain-wrenching chapters to come. I'm thinking Nosferatu should be a priority if I want to make use of at least one of the Dark Mages, but it's quite costly and I dunno if that money would be better spent on getting more healing staves, vulneraries, and tonics. I also just barely beat chapter 10 without any deaths by the skin of my teeth thanks to RNG having my Archer Mozume dodge on the final enemy turn whereas all my other playthroughs always had someone die at the very end if not early on.
  2. No, it's inverse club, you get it from the bottom left house in the chapter. It's the one that swaps triangle advantage.
  3. Just wondering if anybody has a list compiled of all the bonus items you can get for battles and visiting other castles.
  4. As far as I remember, 1-2 range bows/boweffects are enemy locked to enemies with Proximity Shot as a skill, which is unobtainable so far.
  5. Yeah, I switched over to Spear Fighter immediately after I got Silas and stole his lance to train myself, my Kamui also did a bunch of tanking in chapter 7 as well which got me DFang. So all in all it isn't a bad decision and so far I've been doing pretty good at tanking things physically with Felicia dual strike support on Lunatic Classic. Also imo Dark Blood/Noble's skills aren't that appealing, especially for my final build with Dread Fighter.
  6. This. I've been having quite some difficulty with the chapter. I've generally be able to run 75% of the chapter without casualties, but then in the last bits after Hinata and Oboro's group start moving in I have difficulties with the Club users on the left, whilst mid and right is clear aside of Oboro's advancing group.
  7. For what I have used of him in my Hoshido run so far, he's pretty beastly with damage, but still oh so very frail and doesn't like being ganged up on. Though I'm playing on Lunatic Classic sooos.
  8. Depends on what you want and what you're going for as well as which version you're playing. In Hoshido or Revelations I'd say you can do whatever you want really. In Conquest though, arguably the best option for Talent would be Lancer since one of the Spear Fighter promotes, Basara, has arguably the best proc in the game, and the class is unobtainable in Conquest outside of captured units.
  9. Quick question regarding this, does anyone know if buying MP1 early will allow you to download the new DLC as they release, or do we have to wait until it's all out before we do?

  11. Okay, sounds great then. And yeah this was something I was curious about since I noticed Takumi and such weren't getting exp for kills and participation.
  12. I didn't have a hard time at all...but that's cause I have the SE and am playing both stories side by side chapter for chapter before I'll do my playthrough through Revelations. Both scenes themselves though did make me feel kinda guilty though.
  13. Just wondering about this as I'm playing on Classic and they're controllable, but from my understanding not all of them join exactly after the chapter so I'm wondering if they'll still be alive when their recruitment chapter comes by.
  14. I'm running +Str -Lck and it's been doing me well so far. Already at the route split now. My final destination class is going to be Dread Fighter after nabbing skills like Breaking Sky from my secondary of Lancer.
  15. Yeah, thought that might be necessary. Was hoping to give Rinka some exp. Oh well. I'm not able to double with Kaze against the Myrmidons though since mine is a level under yours. I'll work something out I suppose. -Edit- Okay problem solved, just needed some REALLY careful positioning and RNG working with me to have Kaze avoiding the mage attacks.
  16. Yo, just wondering if I can get any advice. I was unable to get the concoction and whatever the other item from Sakura is if there's one on Chapter 4 and my Kamui is currently level 6 +Str -Luck. I was also unable to get a level in on Kaze and Rinka in chapter 4. Here's my stats right now in Dragon Mode Str: 31 Mag: 22 Skill: 27 Spd: 20 Lck: 21 Def: 23 Res: 13

  19. So overall imo the dub is pretty darn good (at least, for My Room dialogue). Even if I prefer the Japanese voices (RIP Mamo Miyano I was looking forward to you soooooo much Q_Q), some characters I really like like Joker, Soleil, Saizou, and based Izana.

  22. So far the skinships of characters I prefer have largely made me hopeful to the dub. Granted there are some misses here and there that I wish were better, but overall it's pretty solid. And lol, Eponine still has her fujoshi qualities. I'll just have my Kamui quickly dial up Saizou's nu- well, I don't want to spoil the oncoming festivities now do I XD (jk, but I love Saizou's sexy English voice over the deep and curt Japanese one that I couldn't care more for than just it being okay in my book.)

Yeah, being mindful of unit placements though has always been a major thing since at least Awakening as depending on the difficulty, the AI, combined with a bit of RNG, may act radically different for a 1 square play. (eg. In one run you move a unit to a square that ends up screwing your entire playthrough of the chapter, while in another you just change up that unit's position by exactly one square and the chapter will pan out much differently. This was particularly prevalent in Awakening's early chapters on harder difficulties.)
  24. I wouldn't necessarily call this bit universal. General rule of thumb IS to keep your forces relatively close to each other, but in my experiences and on some cases in chaptes, you DO want to separate your forces so that the chapter can be played through easier as well as getting every possible goodie out there where if you didn't even send one small vanguard of units to punch through enemy lines of what may be considered Dead Man's Land, you'll end up missing out on that stuff, and sometimes these items could be EXTREMELY helpful towards progressing. eg. boots, staves, seals, and in older titles stuff like the Delphi Shield which is basically a no weakness item for fliers (we now have a skill for that though in Awakening.) Pretty much, if the map has chests or split paths, be on the lookout for possible thieves or enemy reinforcement locations. Older titles also had bandits that could savage villages and homes.
  25. I saw both seasons in Japanese, and I wish I never watched it either. The SomethingWitty abridged is GOLDEN though. Anyways, I edited in that I'm more or less unsure now after listening to some more quick clips of the SAO dubbed, but glad to know I'm with the popular speculation. If it turns out to be true that'd be awesome though considering I did physically meet Cassandra irl one time at a con a few years back, and I already am glad she voiced Lyn in XenoX, and considering Soleil as a romanceable option and one that I've been ticked on ever since the Japanese release, it'd just make me super excited to know I met one of Soleil's voices in person one time.
