I mean you could Marry Morgan to her aunt or uncle just fine in Awakening, I just hope they don't pull a "Companions" on Kamui and Aque (or should I say, "Corrin and Azura"). Marrying first cousins is, to this day, legal in several places. But this IS fiction, if it's not here then where else can things go wild? Let the fantasy world remain fantastic, though if you ask me things like incest, sadistic soldiers, war crimes, and underage marriages make this world more realistic, if a bit cynical. What pedophillia? IRL there are 13 year olds or less who are married and have kids, and that may be morally wrong to some, but it's fine with others and who are we to judge when we don't even attempt to put ourselves in their situation. Let Tharja be a goddamn abusive stalker, that makes her a much more colorful character than if she were not, it's not like she's hurting anyone real. If that doesn't agree with some or trigger mommy issues to others, then that's an entirely personal problem and thus irrelevant.

Hemophillia isn't all that deadly. Yeah, perhaps "Drama" wasn't the wisest word to use, because thinking about it twice there is actually very little incest beyond Kamui and Aqua being first cousins, and him/her being half siblings with Sakura and Takumi. And even then one would have to argue how valid it is all when Kamui is the offspring of a goddamn dragon god. I mean did Mikoto even need to have sex with the thing to conceive and all? Isn't Anankos/Hydra supposed to be invisible or something too? Besides this time around the 3rd route is gonna be available from the day 1, no need to wait and all for any revelations. Still I think the incestuous undertones add flavor to the story, no need to neuter it any more than it already is. Fetish, pandering or not, it's not really a big deal.

I don't understand why people want Incest undertones to be gone. It's a good way to add drama, I mean it's not like it's something that just doesn't happen in real life, and on an medieval europe-eske setting it should very common among royalty. I mean you do know the nobility was called "Blue Blood" because of a genetic disease, hemophilia, that afflicted the royal familiy back in the day (Everyone had it because they all married with cousins and siblings). Well guess what, such a thing exist in real life. We call them "Fujoshi", though others prefer to call them "Scum of the earth". They're responsible for single-handedly destroying the credibility of a Kingdom Hearts fanbase. Eponine is a parody of them. It's just a satire.

HOLY SHIT, I just took a good look at Rinka's growths, bases and stats. While she looks good on her base, holy dam who in their right mind decided to give the "Tanky" unit with more defense a low as hell HP growth? It's like, she's Nowi when you recruit her, but it doesn't gets better at all. To top it off, they decided to give her high speed and skill and cut her strength down. She's literally a mess of stats that has no clear role. She lacks the ability to take too many hits, despite having good defenses, she lacks the ability to use her speed offensively by having a low strength growth. What's her role? A brittle tank that just wants to dodgetank instead? At least Odin attempted to be good at everything and failed, but Rinkah just min-maxed herself the wrong way.

One of the supposed DLC skills that will come are tomes to give a skill to allow bows to hit from range 1 and a skill to let paired up units to still be able to use dual attack (essentially Awakening's pair up), and I believe Paragon too. The game has a breaking point, I am sure of it. considering how the scramble convos were based off the popularity poll, you can kiss any chance of Orochi getting a convo goodbye.

Hoshido: Setsuna, Kaze, Asama, Saizou Izana, Kisaragi, Nishiki, Hinata, and his son, Midoriko, Fuuga. Now that I think about it, I don't care for a lot of Hoshido's characters. Nohr: Ignis, Siegbert, Belka, Flannel, Leon, Sophie, Asuya. Now that I think about it, I may be too biased towards Nohr units.

During the times of Awakening they took away many things that made Fire Emblem what it was. They took away good stories, they took away the challenge, they took the map design, they added the worst kind of DLC practices, they added waifus and with it a strong pandering to blatant hentai fetishes. Even after Fates released in japan, the series still suffers from the scars of such wounds. But there is one thing that has never left Fire Emblem and will never leave because it is, in a way, part of the very essence of the series. It is the only thing left sacred and pure from the times of Kaga, whose person and works can no longer be named: Incest.

You know what would've been cooler? If the Invisible Kingdom was a 3rd faction you could join against Nohr AND Hoshido.

So, assuming there is a 2nd "scramble" and FemKamui won't get a spot, then it'd be Oboro and Azura for females, and Joker and Zero for males. Man this feels underwhelming somehow.

I'm no waifufag, but Orochi being dead last made me feel salty. Also that Nohr domination. All Nohr Siblings got top 3 if you don't count the Female Kamui
