Best Characters: I have a tie between FE7,8 and 9. Each one had characters that were fantastic on their own ways,but I am unable to decide which one is "The One". Best Story: Again, a little tie, but this time between FE4 and FE9. Both stories are fantastic and engaging and choosing between them is hard, but, just for the sake of answering, I will go with FE9. Best Gameplay: This question is now a bit harder. Both FE5 and FE10 have and engaging gameplay. The Capture option from FE5 and the new skill system from the Tellus saga are a few examples, along with variety of objectives which spice up the game and make it less monotonous. I vote for FE5 for now, but FE10 is just near the first spot, just by a hair. Best Overall: FE10. This one was easy, Good story(not as good as FE9, but it was good), fantastic gameplay, good characters(but the support system, oh my god...), and it works perfectly as a sequel for FE9, continuing its story and having a good replayability value.

Blame Weapon Triangle. Axe vs Sword has always been unfair. Well, from my point of view, he wanted a match with Gawain, his teacher, the swordsman, but he couldn't get to fight his true self, and there wasn't a reason to not let him out.

Lunatic is fun. Yeah, it's hard as all hell, but at least it gives a good challenge, although it's only based on buffed stats. Lunatic+ is basically the point where you need to be a RNG god/goddess to get far, specially if you do a No Grind run. The random skills could work in theory, but how it's done is the problem, making you to rely on luck much more than needed to not get killer combinations like Counter and Luna+, Hawkeye and Luna+, and so on. Also, it's a fake difficulty, only based on buffed stats, thus making progress very hard and luck-based, and I don't like that kind of difficulty.

Personally I would prefer it to be like on FE4. A set number of opponents, with a set money for a each victory, with a maximum of 7 battles, and, if you die, you go back with 1HP, because there's not much point on resetting under that kind of condition. Even without EXP, the arenas will very likely have a limited number of uses between chapters (I bet for 7, but I don't even know), to avoid infinite resources and other stuff.

He was a cool guy. -I think I tried to complete Fire Emblem Gaiden at least 10 times, but I always get turned off on Chapter 4 for some reason, and it's not precisely because my characters are underleveled by that point. -Eirika x Ephraim. Come on, FE4 had incest, why not you?. -I thought that Marth would be on FE7 the first time I played it. About Roy? I thought that he was Eliwood. -I actually like Thracia 776.

I will eventually play it again, but I like to give myself a lapse of 6 months between each playthrough of any game to come back fresh and ready for new things. Also, that stupid Lunatic+ needs to be beaten someday.
