As creepy as I find her obsession with Kamui I cannot deny it has created a source of laughs in several supports namely the ones with her enlisting Harold to deliver a message of love to her sibling or her epic cat fights with Jakob. At first I just thought she was just an overdramatic and clingy big sis that was until I saw a video posted by Penguin Senpai on Youtube where he/she uploads skingship videos for the characters now with the dialogue translated. From 1:29 to the end I had a completely different picture of her being painted before me. I think Leon should counts his lucky stars that he isn't getting this much attention.....

I like Felicia but I'm not a fan of high pitched voices in my female characters. Give me the serene and gentle sound of Aqua. Give me the mature and motherly sounding voice of Yuugiri. Give to me the spirited song of Kazahana! Give to me the sultry whisper of Camilla but for the love of all that is holy I will not play this game with headphones on if I use the Japanese audio. My eyes are already crap I am not adding my ears to the list!

But there too many questions it raises! Yeah I know its easy for writers to hand wave something by just saying magic but a world(even a fantasy one) needs some rules.....sometimes. What dictates in this situation what is and what isn't canon here exactly? Just curious.

So I'm still a bit baffled about something. Yeah it isn't really anything new but man I'm still scratching my head to the bone. So in Awakening we pretty much have the kids play Terminator and come from the future to fix everything so to an extent they have relevance to the story and a doable reason for how they got there but here the kids in Fates have no purpose. I can let the characters getting married slide no problem but what would possess them to have kids during a time of war? Also what is this Hyperbolic Time Chamber used to age the kids faster anyways? Where did it come from and how does it even work? If it speeds up the growth of the children why not those who are in there as well? In Matoi's support with Kamui she mentions that the other wives were there along with some caretakers so what do the ladies go into this real once they realize they have a loaf baking in them and enlist elite nannies to raise them?

Seeing all of these goodies is just making the wait more painful. I think after I take small peak at the third route fan translation I'll hop off here for awhile. I'm using up sanity points here! DX

Aside from certain ways things play out aren't the ends results pretty much similar?

Anyways in regards to interchangeable vs unique supports this game from what I have seen has been rather sporadic at times mainly when it concerns the player character. Important individuals connected to Kamui like Camilla, Aqua, or Cyrus have rather gender neutral supports with only the S-rank separating them although how far this go has been hard to tell but I know Ryouma is the same and maybe Takumi too. However other characters like strangely enough Crimson have different supports depending on Kamui's gender and according to some Gunter is the same. I keep wondering how many writers are juggling all these supports.

Then my mistake.

What bugs me most about the Nohr route is how it concludes.

They are the same it seems aside from the S-Rank Support conversation. Keep in mind though so were the supports between Robin(both genders) and Chrom as well as those between Robin(both genders) and Lucina with the exception if female Robin became Lucina's mother then she gets the same generic supports as the other potential wives of Chrom.

Actually it sounds like they never existed to begin with. Ej107 makes a good point about the child/parent coding which makes a lot of sense.

The S-supports were rather nice this coming from a straight dude. Although yes the characters are......"unique" they might be rewritten a bit when the game gets localized if the folks doing it have the same concerns as we do.

^ Argh I didn't think about that! Considering they bothered to finish Zero and Syalla it does puzzle me in regards to the children. Yes they hand wave it in the epilogue but why weren't those finished? They are the two only gay options why wasn't progress made on those factors? Note: Fingers hurt. Typing too fast.

I can see everything you mentioned being are far more likely to occur than the supports(Most are empty btw). but as I said if this works out maybe in the next game we may see a change. Also yeah I remember the Arkham Origins debacle. I don't think they ever existed to begin with now that I think about and the bits of information I am gathering seems to support this. VERY unlikely but it means possible good things in the future As I stated in post on the last page IS is most likely testing the waters with this one. That why they only gave the game two options they want to find out how well including them would be received. If it goes well a step forward. They get their asses chewed off well its a step back.
