It's been same hell for those of us on Team Robin. I may have to join Chrom in honor of not just their bromance, but avenging Robin if he miraculously defeats Tharja.

I don't think he would hate her more like he would have a hard time coming to terms with her in how it would be awkward for him at first to accept the daughter of the man who took Deidre away.

I believe it has been made clear now that the mascot of FE has shifted from Marth to Lucina to represent the new era if you will after Awakening's tremendous success. Personally I don't mind because I prefer Lucina over Marth though I also prefer Chrom over both of them.

As well done as it was it's unfortunately non existent to his character development as we still still see him as scornful towards the laguz with not an ounce of respect in Radiant Dawn. Like it's just baffling in how Shinon seems to be genuinely curious and having some growing respect for Janaff now knowing how old he is and what he has seen through his long life only for in Radiant Dawn to still be the same as ever. I just really dislike it when a character seems to getting some apparent growth/development only for it to not go anywhere. Rolf strikes me as a much better developed character as a result in fact he's the most well developed child soldier character in the series in having to deal with the reality of kill or be killed or standby and let your friends/family be killed and his character arc unlike Shinon followed on through in Radiant Dawn given the situation with his mother about child abandonment something special that Rolf himself has in actually confronting the issue especially with said parent wanting their child back now. It's another criticism as to what I give to Mia because I really enjoyed her Rhys support but her goal in life falls on deaf ears because she never ends up meeting her destined archrival something that is constantly brought up in her supports who is suppose to be someone in white robes and she's apparently blind enough to not notice Lucia meeting that description. It's not that I hate Shinon or Mia, but it's that they don't feel like completed arc characters like Ike, Rolf and Jill and it's just very disappointing, but at least they have some character going on which I can't say the same for someone like Volke who feels like he would fit right in with the majority of the Shadow Dragon cast seeing as we hardly learn anything about him and he remains just a cliche mystery assassin which is a shame because he has a cool design.

Well, all I gotta say is that Shanna is going to get a lot of hate to how Camilla did in defeating Lyn, heck I think even more so because at least Camilla got defeated by Ike in the end.

Pretty much, I still haven't gotten over the fact Shanna got two multipliers against Amelia in the last 2 hours. =/

Like I said it made sense for Leo losing to Robin and Ephraim they are higher ranked than him after all, but Gaius winning against him was weird because I thought his popularity lessen a lot more overtime than Cordelia and Tharja. Also like @Zeo said Shanna closed the gap by a lot just now...

Well hey he fought Robin and Ephraim makes sense, but losing to Gaius was baffling seeing as how he's seen as a popular character from Awakening unlike Cordelia and Tharja who has gone down.

Um... that gap right there...

Personally I always went with making her another cav because movement is just better.

For those that have Sacred Stones as their first Fire Emblem game sure it would be, but even then they're likely to use the tower to grind up those that are lagging behind seeing as how that is an option. It's not like Amelia is in a situation like say Nino who joins so late and doesn't have a tower to grind from to catch up with everyone else.

You can say that about a lot of characters in Binding Blade being bland. Shanna has definitely been incredibly lucky given she's the only one of her Binding Blade pals to even get past the 1st round.

Excuse me? While I can acknowledge that Amelia's trainee status made her hard to grind up she was in a game that was released back then and even during the time that Awakening was happening if people were lucky enough to be 3DS ambassadors and let's be real people probably did grind the trainee characters over at the temple (with the exception being Ross in some cases because he can get away with grinding early). Binding Blade has had no such release outside of Japan, the only character to even have any recognition from it is Roy and that's simply because of his main character status and especially his being lucky enough to be Smash Bros for the sake of his game getting advertisement to boost sales over there for his soon to be released game. Amelia was in the top 100 in the choose your legends poll and was even higher than a main plot old school character like Ninian. Shanna on the other hand is 166th compared to Amelia being at 89th.

You and and me both. I could a little understand winning against Hinoka because of the old school character vs new character from especially Fates but winning against Amelia is just baffling me. Exactly, this system is messed up. Heck keep in mind Shanna is the only THE ONLY Binding Blade character to even pass the 1st round let alone the 2nd one and we're talking about a character whose own game didn't even come out of Japan. She has won against two character that rank above her in popularity.

Well I'm off to team Takumi then because I don't like Shanna that much compared Amelia so pretty disgusted by this result. I guess now Takumi is going to have to avenge Hinoka.

Most of the characters in FE6 I can tell you right now are really bland.

I'm really not sure how to feel about Shanna winning over Amelia... really just goes to show you how gauntlets are flip coin games now. If Shanna takes this she has defeated two characters that rank above her and are in fact more recognizable than her because her own game she's in isn't even released outside Japan. -_-

Yeah like had that been the case for the poll for the males the change of order would have been Marth 4th, Chrom 5th, Ephraim 6th, Robin 7th, Takumi 8th, Leo 9th and then Henry earning 10th in joining the top 10 club. Then onto females pretty much the same, but instead of Nowi being 10th Tiki would have been 10th instead.

I'll go team Amelia for Sacred Stones especially since I like her supports with Franz and Duessel, but if she loses then onto team Soren.

My free summon was Sophia and I ended that session because the rest were blue and one colorless which I wanted to avoid as I don't want the new blue unit as her stats are disappointing. But the next summing session I ended up with... The couple really wanted to be together. Both +Res with Sigurd -HP while Deidre -Spd (I can just give her Fury and Spd 3 seal to have her speed be the same as +Spd Julia).

I'm aware of that hence why I don't fully agree with Roy's position (smash Roy fans who never played his game), but I will at the very least say the CYL rankings gave somewhere of a indication of how popular the characters are throughout the series and where they stand so they still shouldn't be dismissed just like that.

Agreed, it just feels all luck based now in how it can just go either way. Camilla had the multiplier and managed to win against Lyn someone more popular in CYL while Corrin had the multiplier and is more popular in CYL than Ninian. Ephraim's victory is always going to feel like it was well deserved through and through.

I for one won't be, but at the same time I would expect the same of Ninian supporters because I think we all got to agree that the multipliers are just ridiculous. Voting Gauntlets for determining a character's popularity is a joke now. At least in the 1st one Ephraim had a deserved victory against a character that ranked above him.
