If I have multiple support conversations at A level (with the female characters as M!Byleth) that could potentially be "upgraded" to S level, will I be able to choose which one I'd like to marry after beating the game? Or does the game choose (like the person that visits you at the ball)?

No, you still have a regular choice. The game also makes it fairly obvious so no worries.

Ahh bummer.... I wanted to make the "Hidden Path" my final playthrough with perfect builds and so on...... which obviously won't be easy Well guess I'll play on Normal then. Thank you very much for the information though!

So one question: Is the final battle also tied to a time limit (like every other chapter) or does it grant you "unlimited time" to grind and so on (how it was in Awakening and fates)?

Hey, I have one question. I really liked the aspect of Awakening (more so than fates) that allowed you to max out your units and therefore "break the game". Now I wanted to ask if the whole tutoring, grinding (on normal mode) and so on mechanics continue up to the finale (which would allow me to max out all characters again). Unlike with the last titles I'm basically starting at a point in time where there isn't enough information out there to plan according to my perfectionistic desires. So any information would be appreciated. Thank you! (I guess we might get an EXP farm DLC in the future which ofc would help with the above "problem" but we obviously still lack information regarding that). (Also kind of lost track of all the mechanics and rules over the course of the months leading up to the release)

I made xander a vanguard. I am not dissapointed with it.

I play him as a vanguard defensive unit but for lodestar I think something like this: -Speedtaker -Dancing Blade maybe -Aether -Astra maybe -Replicate maybe Somethibg like quixotic and hoshudan unity always helps
