  1. Our guide is in the works, there should be some scattered around here.
  2. The Fanslation has been released. Due to font issues, there may still be spacing issues. Please refer to the OP and report any errors you find. Thanks! OP: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=60728&page=1
  3. Well, if you don't already know how, then I can confidently say you won't be able to. But if you look around..
  4. The final release will patch Hoshido and Nohr as normal (refer to the structure of previous patches if there's an error). For patching Invisible Kingdom, your only choice is taking those files and generating a custom .cia with it, then installing it onto a cfw that's not Gateway (ReiNAND is recommended) via FBI or BBM or some other cia installer.
  5. Not sure. We had intended to release a tutorial a while ago, but the guy who was writing it got caught up in his job and school.
  6. No. The Japanese special edition only has Hoshido and Nohr on it - the Invisible Kingdom route will always be dlc regardless of whatever version of the game you have. It's not updated in the OP yet, but the Invisible Kingdom files are just so you can use them to make a custom cia and install that for patching Invisible Kingdom. Otherwise, there is no way to currently patch Invisible Kingdom. Here's the link to the final release.
  7. People on the team are still working, but nothing we've tried works yet. And yes the patch is for NA.
  8. And also, thanks to some web sources/gaming websites, there seems to be a misunderstanding with the amount of progress made. They seem to think we only have several supports done. We have all the three storylines and paralogues done. Supports are what remains, and that's been left to Division II.
  9. Because, simply put, we're not them. We don't have the level of dedication they do.
  10. Until this is added into the OP, here is the final Team If (Division I) Patch Release. It contains all of our Invisible Kingdom fixes. (This is a full patch. However, Invisible Kingdom will require custom .cia generation.) DOWNLOAD LINK -- Regarding what will become of the fan-translation, here it is: A Discord was formed earlier, and a new team was formed. After some debate, the new members decided to split Team If into two divisions, and they would be Team If's Division II. In exchange, the existing Fan Translation infrastructure, meaning all the files and tools we have, will be transferred over to them. Team If Division I members (the original fanslation team) will help them get accustomed to the system and files. They will continue and finish the project. If there is any controversy over remaining as a part of our team, know this: Every member on the team is new. They are fresh. And they want to work on this. I don't speak for them, and they will soon populate over this thread. So in short: The fanslation was revived by a new set of around 15-20 people, who have decided to become a second division in our team. So it's not dead anymore.
  11. The discord link for the new group has been temporarily disabled due to overflow. After trimming we will add more people. Also, the final patch will be coming tonight.
  12. We ended this project without considering its popularity. We ended it because, to put it simply, we're done. We won't be working on it anymore.
  13. Just ignore immahnoob. There's no reason to fight with him anymore. In a change of heart, we WILL be releasing our final patch tonight. The only exception to that is those containing bugs that can crash your game. The new team will take over from this point on. As always, if you'd like to join the new team (doesn't matter what your skills are), click on the link below: https://discord.gg/0oqaIwQPmHZWe4P2
  14. The team that will be continuing this project is currently being formed in Discord. If you would like to join that new team, please click here.
  15. I will admit, (since my comments previous reflect the team and not of me), we do feel sorry for those who were and are positive and supported us to the end. The death of this project was already coming, but the recent arguments, notably between Immahnoob and members of this team, was a match lighter in our decision to cease working on this project. A large number of us have occupations, or simply would like to work on something else. (I personally am more interested in the university admission system at the moment). By all means, we are not guilt-free. It's true that we stated intentions to finish the game a long time ago, and we weren't able to finish that. That is a justifiable argument against us. However, we only intended to do this project up to menus, and it being free work from us to begin with, we see it completely justifiable that we should choose to cease the project. To clear up some speculations, here it is: - We were not C&D'd by Nintendo, nor were we contacted by Nintendo reps or lawyers. - My style of not sugarcoating my words makes me sound like an asshole to most, and that's true. When I say "We don't care," it's because we really don't care. - The original decision was to not release files from what progress we made. Thanks to some nice people, we have instead decided to give that content to people who will be continuing the project. We are a group that originally formed this as a small project. We never intended this to get where it is today (we don't have reliable methods of tracking just how far this project has gone), and we were and still admittedly are unprepared to deal with really any relatively large popularity.
  16. The actual setup is much simpler than that. A new team will be formed and will take members in the following days/weeks. Because we don't want to, it's simple as that. I don't like sugarcoating and that's the truth. Also, a lot of team members are pissed.
  17. We haven't done a lot of stuff. It's mostly just fixes and revisions. The real thing we're not releasing are custom builds (which have never been released to begin with.) Also, we will be sending our files to someone who wishes to continue the project. You can get it there later. (This decision was made AFTER we decided to not release our files, thanks to some nice people online.)
  18. 1. We never even put our own names on it so whatever. 2. We aren't a US-based group, and this is already on the gray side of the law anyways. 3. If someone else slaps their name on it who cares? Everyone knows we did it originally. Also, we know who has been here since the beginning. PM me for several options. While we may be abandoning the project, I (as an administrator) am not opposed to transferring our library to several people we knows who know this project.
  19. Most of the unreleased work is just edits on existing scripts (a changelog is available in the Error Log in the OP). The exception is one DLC and several supports (non-important). The Saizou and Belka support is being polished by several editors and will be released, one way or another.
  20. Deal with it. We don't feel the need to justify ourselves. If you want to accuse us for dropping a project that we joined to work on in our own free time, then you should reconsider. Also, most of the team didn't move onto the GAA team. Most of us are just stopping. Btw, one thing you should understand: We don't care about the fans. We did this project for our own reasons. if you want to continue this project, go ahead. Best of luck to you.
  21. There actually is notable progress, but it was decided yesterday that we won't release it. We'll release the fixed up controversy supports. That's all. Everything else we've done will be kept for our use only. People used to care about it, this project and thread was started back when Fates wasn't even released. And to clarify, it was agreed between the translators and editors yesterday that all translation work will now cease. Any support available online is easily findable via Google, as well as FEAT. Like mentioned above, any work we have done will be retained, minus several supports. The remainder of the IK fixes will be applied over time. -- I'd like to clarify right now that the original point of this project was only to translate the menus and make the game playable. Anything else beyond that was and is completely extra. As of now, all translation work will be ceased. Whatever is left with Invisible Kingdom, we will likely fix it, and release the fixed files. If not, then that means we don't care anymore. ruc Why are we ending? Because we're all burned out and don't care anymore. We intend to keep our infrastructure private. This does not mean restoration is dead. That is a separate project run by separate members of the team.
  22. We're having trouble getting Amie to work. If it does, we'll try and use the English voices (by not even touching that), and it should be okay. If not, well, Japanese voices + no matchup it is for then.
