That's not exactly how percentages work... Percents aren't cumulative; rather, they must be multiplied. So, rather than 50%+70%+50%=170%, the chance of you NOT criticaling is 50%*70%*50%=17.5% ...which still kind of sucks, seeing how you had an 82.5% to critical at least once. >_< /nerd

Well, when I first started with this Clock Abusing business, there were a few times where after flipping the power switch, the power light would come on, but the screens would remain blank... (Then, it'd be fine after turning it off and on again.) It hasn't happened for a while recently, but...I don't know, exploit at your own risk, I guess?

I just played against who may be the luckiest guy ever. Round 1: I scout the guy and dispose of one of his units. His turn, he flies in with Dracoknight!Shiida and lands a OHKO critical with Wing Spear. Okay, fair enough, the crit chance was 28%; I had it coming. But then, in comes Marth with a Brave Sword, criticaling and killing my Sniper with a 13% crit chance. The fog closes around him. Needless to say, I got slaughtered. Round 2: Once again, I scout the guy and kill one unit. Shiida flies up and, lo and behold, he crits me again with a 13% Brave Axe. Wow. By now, I'm thinking there's no way he can pull that off again. Next turn: Shiida. Brave Axe. 13% crit. He does it again. I called BS. Luckily, he had left some units within my view and I was able to finish him off next turn. But seriously, the likelihood of all that happening is...about 0.06%. Wow. Just wow. Wait, actually, not that low. 0.4%, because of the braves. But still.

You can't download and use your own units, only other people's.

How so? Is there larger room for error? Do the same times work?

They end up pretty similar in the long run. Navarre gets more HP and LCK, and Athena gets slightly more STR. They both start with C swords. Athena is just better at base level. If you're looking for the best swordmaster, Radd actually ends up being the best, if you're willing to train him.

Epic-win: Just the other day, I solo'd some other guy on With Anyone using Dracoknight!Abel. (Well, actually, Abel and four stave-less curates. ) He even got a critical on me. It was lolworthy. To be fair, his team wasn't all too shabby (he had some max-crit Killer forges), but every one of his units could be ORKO'd. So, maybe not "epic win", but "meh win" at least. Epic-fail: Some time ago, on With Anyone, I missed with a 90-something displayed hit rate, then proceeded to be raped by a 2% critical on counterattack. I was not pleased.

For me, it's choosing between Silver Lance + Killer Lance and Silver Axe + Vulnerary. I tend to go with the lances. Arran/Samson is fed to the enemies.

Oh, here's another thing: make sure you start from a suspend point; I've had map saves mess up my RNs before for some weird reason. And are you using a DS lite? As for timing, I've found it useful to mash B/A to back out rather than pressing each a single time. Also, the space between pressing A to turn the DS off and turning it back on may be shorter than you think; I had the problem of waiting too long to turn it on when I first started. And I doubt that you found a new time for Abel. Abel only needs to miss SKL once for dynamics to kick it up to 55, so it's not at all unlikely. Anyways, just keep trying. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually. ;)

Make sure you are doing the following: 1. Set the DS to autoplay games, so that you don't take extra time starting up the game after turning the DS back on. 2. After setting the time, you must back out with the buttons. The only time you should touch the power switch is when you're turning it back on. 3. Kill the enemy in one hit. Those are the only things I can think of.

I'd say yes. Story is lacking compared to other FE games, but WiFi adds a lot of replay value. I believe the GameFAQs reviews are a bit skewed; it's not really as bad as it makes it look. But what exactly do you mean by "my time is becoming scarce"?
