  1. Dual Destinies was definitely a lackluster title for me. Blackquill's platitude-ridden dialogue really tried my patience, Apollo's character development was all just a huge tease, and the game's attempt to sell that tacked-on "dark age of the law" was laughably bad. (Especially considering that both PW1 and AAI2 had already used the same theme to much greater effect.) Doesn't give me much hope for the Third Path.
  2. I wholeheartedly agree. The only laudable support I've found so far is Oboro/M!Kamui, and the rest are either harrowingly mediocre or just straight-up trash. (Granted, I haven't read more than 15 of them) I'm still looking for something on the caliber of Tharja/Virion.
  3. Thank you for your enlightening insights. I'll definitely have to snatch up a copy of Sacred Stones!
  4. Midoriko, because she gives me Katawa Shoujo flashbacks.
  5. M Nohr: Felicia or Elise F Nohr: Foleo or Benoit M Hoshido: Midoriko or Oboro F Hoshido: Deere or Asama
  6. Agreed. Despite its lewdness, the skinship dialogue adds a real sense of verisimilitude to these characters. After all, real people talk like that, too.
  7. I think Hana just won the "most blatantly explicit skinship" competition.
  8. I'm really split when it comes to the fanservice, maybe even dysphoric. It bothers me that Nintendo of all companies would include this kind of content, but on the other hand, I know I'll immensely enjoy it anyway. ...So I guess I'm hot and bothered.
  9. First-time poster here. Greetings! What I find most puzzling about Fire Emblem Fates is the obscene number of promoted units we're getting early on in the Nohr route. We have: Xander (Paladin) Camilla (Revenant Knight) Leo (Dark Knight) Gunter (Great Knight) Felicia/Jacob (Maid/Butler, assuming it's a Rod Knight promotion) Even in Hoshido, where your siblings are less experienced, we still get: Ryoma (Trueblade) Gunter (Great Knight) Felicia/Jacob (Maid/Butler) I've only been playing the series from Path of Radiance onwards, so sue me if I'm wrong, but the most we ever start out with in these games is a Jagen; having this many promoted units almost seems ludicrous. Why do you think this is the case, and what repercussions might this have?
