  1. Finished all of my guides for the currently available characters in the game. Here I don't have permissions to edit the wiki so I can't write anything on it, but if anyone wants to modify it so that it fits with the style of the page, by all means do so. Just make sure to quote the source as being me.
  2. Man, it's been a while since I've been here. Job hunting and unemployment takes quite a toll on you. Anyways, I've recently gotten several unit guides up on my blog since I last posted here and I'll probably have the last 3, Tiki, Lyn and the Twins, done very soon. As soon as the DLC units come out, I'll probably have guides for them as well, not to mention, updating the older guides to consider the new skills, and whatever new weapon skills come out. EDIT: One thing I've noticed as I get Astra on more and more characters, normally when C3 reveals a regular Stun Gauge, a C6 isn't quick enough to start getting rid of chunks of it, even with max War God crests. However, with most of my characters thus far, having astra allows them to get the C6 combo off in time, usually deleting the stun gauge.
  3. Sample-wise, I have written 2 primary guides so far, one for Lissa that was linked in the previous page, as well as a Chrom & Lucina guide which I just finished today. Both are located on my blog which is here For the most part, in my guides, all of the weapon attributes have a priority level assigned to them, ranging from low to must-have. Crest priority is also labeled the same way, and I give a description as to why they have been labeled as such. Regarding stats, I do give a top-level overview of their stats, how they compare to other units and clones, but never really go in-depth into role differentiation. As for personal skills, I do give them a mention, but never go in-depth about it. I can probably devote a small section about it, though I'll have to see where it would best fit based on my guide's current structure.
  4. Man, I forgot I made an account here at one point. Anywho, hi, I'm the guy who made that Lissa guide on my blog/site. I've been bouncing back and forth between FEH unit analysis and FEW character guides but I think I'm at a decent point where I can focus on FEW guides right now. I recently posted a combo Chrom and Lucina guide and will probably hit up the pegasus knights next. Anyways, I take suggestions seriously so if you guys have anything for my guides, hit me up and tell me what I could improve.
  5. I like this, it allows us to create our own chokepoints to prevent enemies from trying to get to our squishies. You can't just break Ice/Snow willy-nilly.
  6. IIRC, that cutscene was in one of the early trailers, turns out it was from the third route. Maybe all the other siblings have unique third route cutscenes?
  7. Wow, Treehouse has got their work cut out for them, Soleil is just terribly written. People thought Camilla was bad? OHHHHHHHHHH NO.
  8. I have no idea what my OTP for each game is gonna end up being. All I know is I'm gonna go insane trying to get all the supports.
  9. Sometimes, I just wanna ignore everyone and play the damn game for myself. People shouldn't be bothered by other's opinions whether or not something is good. It's honestly all up to you. It's like if a someone says some piece of food is disgusting. But then you try it and it tastes delicious. Everyone is different, don't worry about others. Sometimes, it's okay to be selfish. And who knows, maybe they're only saying that because they want more of the food for themselves.
  10. People love pointing out the flaws in a game because unless the game is perfect, that's all the player remembers. Forget the improved gameplay, the added features, the music. In most people's eyes, one rotten apple spoils the barrel.
  11. Probably, I'm tired, probably shouldn't have posted that in the first place. Oh well, I'll be going down in infamy now as someone who cannot read because I don't know how forums work! Thanks for listening to me talk everyone, GOODNIGHT!
  12. Let's calm down with the personal attacks, no need to get hostile. I'm just calling it as I see it and rolling my eyes at people with no sense of logic. Am I maybe blowing it out of proportion? Probably. Am I fighting fire with fire? Most likely. People won't pay any attention unless something bigger is in their sights. Condescending? Eh, I've been called worse. And you think I started with Awakening, HAH!
  13. I feel like this is partially our fault. Lemme explain. Did NoJ expect us to datamine the game and have those of us that can read moon runes translate the text into English? Probably not. Should they have? Maybe. But it's not their fault for creating a game that caters to Japan. LGBT issues in Japan are glossed over unlike in other Western countries, especially MURICA! as of recently. Fates was made in order to cater to the Japanese audience, not the US/EU audience, so of course they would fetishize these issues. See Japanese popular media for proof. It was our own impatience that had us see this support in ALL of it's glory. It was because we were impatient that we are wielding pitchforks for something that may not even exist in the NA/EU versions. The Treehouse team is getting paid to do something, right? It's on them to make a game that was catered to the Japanese demographic marketable to Western shores. What text-heavy games have they localized? Kid Icarus Uprising, Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi RPGs, Animal Crossing, and Path of Radiance. And you know what? They did some damn good jobs with these games Bottom line is: People are overreacting on something that is VERY likely going to be changed upon localization. What are they changing? What are they keeping? We, as fans, were scraping the bottom of the barrel, and it is our fault we found out there was some worms at the bottom. Ignorance, sometimes, is bliss. I'm gonna say this right now, if NoA/NoE ends up changing some of these supports so that they're culturally acceptable in NA & EU, we are gonna look like idiots for jumping to some of these conclusions that we are seeing. And if these aren't changed, I'm gonna look the biggest god damn idiot that believed in the localization teams. Cause apparently, these guys do not give a damn at all. Anyways, sleepy rant over. Feel free to dissect this all you want, I still believe we are partially at fault and that we are jumping to conclusions.
  14. If you think that was crazy, here's Pieri and Felicia
  15. Plan on spoiling myself, gotta know everything after all. Just like Pokemon, I like theorycrafting teams and creating cheese strats. I love me some gouda.
