  1. Not a fan. To clarify, I don't have a problem with her hair. I just think it looks really weird in Live2D animations.
  2. I was a little off-put by Sakura's portrait art as well. It didn't seem to fit with any of her other appearances. As for Azura, that long strand of hair that runs between her eyes looks even MORE weird in her Live2D model. Just look at how it moves with her head, as if it's stuck to her face. (NOTE: Her confession is at the very beginning of the video.) EDIT: Speaking of Live2D, they definitely should have used still images like Awakening for confessions, and save the Live2D surprise for whatever activity you do in Private Quarters.
  3. That's been discussed already. It's an old screenshot, and it's still unknown if that exclamation point is still in the game or not, and if it's in the game, it is unknown if it still means skinship.
  4. What makes it funny to me is that Benny is a little, cuddly dog, but this Benny is a big, cuddly teddy bear. XD
  5. I don't know about you guys, but I think "Rhajat" is pretty fun to say when you pronounce it without the "t" and give a little "oomph" to that "j". "Rah-ja". Sounds kinda French, but the name looks Egyptian, which is the vibe I get from her design as well as her Tharja design. For the record, I used to pronounce "Tharja" as "Tar-juh". Now, I pronounce it as "Thar-yuh" which is probably the official pronunciation. (So "Rhajat" is probably pronounced as "Rah-yaht" which sounds lame and almost sounds like "riot".
  6. Just... Please, just have something in there to interact with our favorite characters. I don't need the touching. Have us chat with them privately. Give us questions with multiple choices. That might make it look like a dating sim, but at least it's way less off-putting than face rubbing. I just want more character interaction. I desire it immensely. Don't take these things away from me!
  7. That's good. It's probably a silly thing to get agitated over, but with all the name changes of things such as Pegasus Knight to Sky Knight, I was unsure of my better judgment.
  8. I just noticed they spelled "troubadour" as "troubador" in Elise's description. They literally just spelled the name wrong... I really hope that isn't in the final game. I have a big pet peeve for misspellings, especially ones that you're forced to look at for a long time... EDIT: It also says for Jakob that he's "cool toward others". That was obviously a typo for "cold".
  9. Do you mind pointing me in the direction of special edition info? I can't find anything about it on the official site.
  10. When I saw "Benny" as Benoit, I laughed my ass all the way off. Anyone else a Maximilian Dood fan here?
  11. I got that same vibe! XD Sucks they reduced the voice options again. There better be good male options to fit my tall build avatars.
  12. So, I did a quick calc, and all the DLC bought separately in US Dollars equals $24.90. I personally subtracted the costs of the EXP, Gold, and Weapons DLC in case I didn't want to bother with grinding (even though I bought those in Awakening and used them actively...), and the total after that was $17.43. Since I want everything else for certain, should I just buy the pack at $17.99 and call it a day? It would at least save time in buying everything I want individually.
  13. Okay, assuming this is real (I'm not giving Kotaku clicks, so if I'm missing something after reading a summary, forgive me and correct me please), this is what should happen and I hope actually does happen if this is the case. The live2D models stay for the marriage confessions after S-support. In Private Quarters, you cannot just pet anyone you like. You can only pet your spouse and your own children. This way, skinship isn't completely removed, but reformed, since being able to rub anyone's face is considered creepy, but rubbing the face of your loved ones is acceptable behavior. I guess you can rub your buddy's face too. However, I truly hope that none of this is real, and everything remains mostly unchanged. I don't like nor trust Kotaku for anything and never will. Either way, all I want to honestly do is be able to interact with my waifu. Nothing more, nothing less. Give me that and I won't complain. I've always wanted more ways to interact with my spouses in Awakening. There was the possibility with the Scramble DLC maps, but only certain characters were chosen for avatar interaction, which was a huge bummer. If they remove skinship, the only known option for furthering your relationship with your spouse, they better have a damn good replacement.
  14. The Best Buy GCU 20% off discount only applies to software. You also get a little off on toys-to-life figures (amiibo included), too. Amazon Prime offers the same exact benefits. The difference is that Prime benefits only last for the pre-order period and two weeks after the game is out. However, it's free shipping and no tax. GCU (Gamers Club Unlocked) benefits last for the entirety of the game's lifespan, but tax is unavoidable.
  15. I didn't play these games, but what you described is what I want to see more of in Fire Emblem. Variety in relationships. This is what I'm talking about! I made a big post about this very same thing some months ago. EDIT: I see the current topic of discussion is about the news over Soleil's supports. This is one of those instances where a character shouldn't be romanced by the avatar (if male).
  16. The movie "300" is almost 9 years old. If I see the phrase "this is madness," I will legitimately laugh. I haven't heard that line since Smash Bros. Brawl's release where Ganondorf got a new forward tilt.
  17. Thank you for all your translations. You've been doing Naga's work!
  18. Not a New 3DS standard, so not interested. Would've placed an order in a heartbeat.
  19. Ahhh... Oboro as #1. That's what I like to see. (Hang in there, Arthur.)
  20. I just read the Kagerou x Asama support. That S Rank gives me all the more reason to oppose the idea that all characters can marry.
  21. I mean, the line in Triforce Heroes is pretty dumb, but for a game that doesn't take itself seriously in the slightest, I can deal. The thought of it being in the game at all makes me chuckle, and I prefer NoA's localization over NoE's just for that. Fire Emblem is a pretty serious game, so unless it's in context (like a silly support conversation) you won't see any memes. Also, I liked the "over 9000" joke in Pokemon. :)
  22. Yeah, I'm not marrying the kids. RIP recruiting all the kids unless a Cornsexual entices me.
