  1. Well, I've played all FE games between FE6 and FE14, and I still never promote before level 20. But yeah, I see your point, most of the time, when you finish the game, your characters are around level 15 promoted. So, promoting at level 18 or so isn't a big deal, your characters will just ends up level 16-17 promoted for exemple, no big change. Still, I don't think I can bring myself to promote characters before level 20, it feel so unsatisfying. Anyway, the point is, don't promote at level 10, it's a waste. Wait a little, may it be level 16 or 20.
  2. Characters from PoT were, it was a really good cast. Those introduced in Radiant Dawn aren't, sadly, which is one of my biggest complain against RD. For Fates, I think the cast is mostly well developed, so the number of characters isn't a problem. And you're not supposed to play every one of them, just pick your favorites. The fact that the game is in 3 parts allow you to try different characters, which is nice. Falcon Knight aren't meant to be main healers, so low magic isn't that important. They are fighter, staves are just a bonus. He can still be useful as a "when you fucked up" healer, because thanks to his high mov., he can easily heal any of your units a little when in emergency. So, if you want to use him as a flying unit, Falcon Knight isn't a bad choice. Or you can reclass him into something else.
  3. Well, if the character can pull his own weight, there is no reason to promote before level 20. But yes, I suppose that if an unit seems really too weak, promoting it a little early might not be a bad choice.
  4. Wait until level 20. In Fates, you can't reset the level like you could with the scolaris in awakening. Promoting at level 10 is just wasting 10 level of potential for an unit. You waste xp too, since you gain less xp when promoted. And the game difficulty clearly take in account that you don't promote your characters at level 10, as promoted ennemies starts to appear when you team is around levels 15-20, usually.

  7. In my Conquest playthrough, Mozu accidentally killed the final boss... So, my HC is that she became Queen of Nohr, since Xander was too ashamed of being less useful that a peasant to rule the kingdom. Camilla didn't want to be queen, Kamui is an Hoshidian Scum, Leo put his crown upside down the day of his crowning and thus joined Xander to share their shame, and Elise left the castle to gather a harem of "Oniis-chan". So Mozu, savior of Nohr, became the legitimate queen of the kingdom, enhancing the agriculture of the starving country thanks to her vast farming knowledge. Eons later, she was still known as the Queen of Potatoes, farmers around the world praying for her blessings.
  8. Reina. I WANT to like her, but she really suffer from being Kamuisexual. She have no role in the story unlike the other Kamuisexuals, and her sole support, while good, isn't enough to make her an interesting character. Why create a character in such a half-assed way ? Quality over quantity, if you don't have time to write new supports, just don't add more characters. Talking to you, IS. Also, Nyx. I don't dislike her, I actually REALLY liked her at first, in her support with Kamui. Damn, I liked it so much that I married her in Conquest. But the more I read her supports, the more I found her redundant and boring. What a waste. (Btw, "my room" just doesn't work well with some characters. Nyx being all lovely-dovey kind of bother me.)
  9. In Revelation chapter 17 (the one where, if you lose, you have to redo chapter 16), I had wiped out most of the map. Only the boss and three units on the south east of the map were still standing between me and victory. One Paladin was in the range of Camilla, who was really close to level up. The two other were a Cavalier and some turret guy. The Cavalier wasn't threatening, and I just disregarded the turret as a low damage thing, so Camilla didn't risk anything, even if they both hit her. BUT. What I didn't see was that the turret was a god damn ballista. I can't believe I did such a dumb thing as putting a flying unit in the range of a ballista... So, yeah, Camilla took huge damage from it, and the cavalier was about to end her agony. 98% of hit, lethal. I was already prepared to reset the game, complaining about how dumb I am. And then, I just watched the Cavalier miss by some Arthur level of bad luck, and get killed by Camilla. R.I.P Cavalier N°67, at least you tried. So, yeah, before that, Camilla never struck me as an outstanding unit, she was surprisingly squishy in my Conquest playthrough. But, at that exact moment, I chose to never bench Camilla. NEVER. She's my RNG Goddess. She's now a fearsome Berserker, a complete beast who will never again be afraid of some dumbass with a bow. Well... Except if it's a Shining bow. *Sigh* Still, when it comes to the Arena, I have the worst luck. Enemies with 55% hit will hit 3 out of 4 times, Sol always proc when it's useless... Only Ryoma seems to be immune to bad luck. That damn lucky lobster. (Sorry for my roundabout way of writing and my shaky english.)
  10. Do not worry, thong has always be the finest armor you can have as a girl in RPG games ! The less it cover, the more it protect ! Joke aside, that's too bad, I really don't see the point of doing this, it kinda break the immersion, and it's not even sexy or anything. EDIT : God I LOVE this Jaffar smiley !
  11. Ok, that's nice ! So, if I understand correctly, the third route will be a mashup of all the content that the two others routes offer, while having a new scenario ?
  12. I don't get the problem with incest. It's not YOUR sister/brother. Incest as been around in history since always, so a medieval game including some eventual incest isn't shocking. I've never heard anyone having trouble with incest in GoT, for exemple. Let's not start a moral debate, but the only reason Incest has been taught to be disgusting is because of the high risk of inbreeding. But, hey, it's a video game, these riks do not exists here. And no one forces you of doing these supports. I do get that it can be disturbing when you have siblings, though.
  13. That's nice, I'm just sooo hyped. By the way : SPOILER, i guess ?
  14. Same problem as Fateborn on Firefox, works perfectly with Chrome though. Thanks a lot, that's amazing !
  15. ... Woah. Anyway, 22 exclusive chapters for each game is really promising !
  16. Oh yeah, forgot about the third scenario ! Well, I don't think anyone have finished it already, though.
  17. Hi ! This might be early for that, but now that the game is out in Japan, I have that one question that bothers me so much : how long will it take to finish each game ? Are they REALLY two full length Fire Emblem ? So, for those who have the game or who watch some streams, how would you rate these two games in comparison with Awakening, in terms of length ? (Let's put MyCastle and the Worldmap out, only the main chapters)
  18. Thanks ! Oh ! If it's the case, then no problem. As long as they don't rub the fanservice in our faces (Haha, rub in our faces... No ?) and it's really up to the player to choose, then it shouldn't even make such a fuss. I think the problem is the fact that there is a LOT of articles about the fanservice in this game in videogame press, so it's kinda "scary" for someone who do not like it. But hey, as long as it stay bonus content, it's all good.
  19. I don't really like it, but the fanservice won't bother me if it's REALLY optional. Camilla v-neck ? Not a big deal. Incest ? No one (should) cares. Hotspring ? Well, that's a HUGE anime cliché, but you don't HAVE to go in. I think it's up to you if you want to build the hot spring or not, so whatever. What really scares me is the face rubbing... I read that it gives some stats bonus. If it's true, it bothers me, because it's not really optional anymore... If you do not do it, you will have a disadvantage upon someone you do. Quite unfair for those who aren't attracted by that sort of fanservice. (Sorry for my bad english, I'm french)
