considering u could solo FE9 with Ike but that's not the case in FE10, that sort of says something.

I mostly like how much more useful FE9 Ike was compared to the majority of other characters. The FE10 one wasn't as much stronger compared to his teammates and you pretty much needed other people to help with endgame bosses.

Isn't there an option to let Ike just simply escape or does that only apply to Mist?

I'm not sure if this is true but I think the bishop that comes out can heal the black knight.

Did you level him up to 20 in his ranger class?

If you have a seriously underleveled mist, the halberdier is strong enough to kill her.

If you read Mak's and Astrids support conversation you can sense something brewing between them.

I don't believe Reyson could push one down mostly because his con is too little for the stone (which i believe does have a weight).

Considering he can do pretty well endgame as a level 4 arch sage, he is pretty good. Though I do admit he does have his downsides and isn't great.

When do the characters get support points: at the beginning or the end of the chapter? I'm mostly wondering if a character died in a chapter with someone else, would he/she still get the support point? Or If you resurrect a character would he/she get the support point?

It wouldn't do anything. If you are right and it applies to anyone 30 or under. Anyone who doesn't fit there was already programed by the develop with a skill that unables them to have imbue. Changing Elincia's magic cap wouldn't give her this skill automatically.
