  1. Thanks Paper Jam! I'm not trying to do everything perfectly or even minmax my characters. No intention to get max tactician stars or S-Ranks, at all. I'm just asking because I couldn't find whether or not the assets were halved or not anywhere, and I want to be aware of my options. Not SF's FE7 page, nor the two FE wikis or FE7 guides were upfront about it. I'm not gonna horde items, I already know that's a bad habit. I'm gonna play with the characters I enjoy playing with for fun. I could always try to break even, maybe use both the Crest and Ring and still get a Red/Blue gem depending on my assets excluding them. I should look at the purchasable items following Chapter 15, see if any pique my interest.
  2. I just started playing FE7 and I'm nearing the end of Normal Lyn Mode. I'm wondering if the assets are determined by the items of full price, or if they are halved by this sale equation for shops? What about prices that have decimals in the calculations, are they rounded up or down? I'm wondering because I'm trying to save up for Lyn's White/Blue/Red Gem that she gets when she's recruited in Chapter 15, and if I've already dropped below the wealth threshold, if I did, I might as well use the knight crest & energy ring to my liking. From what I've found what gem you get is determined this way: For reference, I've used the glitch to take Wallace's Knight Crest, and I used the Angelic Robe on Florina since I intend on using her as much as possible. Would using the Knight Crest on my preferred unit (Kent) & using the Energy Ring on who ever needs it be more beneficial or would trying to save up for the gems be more beneficial?
  3. Just to make sure, so the discount just works with every single copy of Fire Emblem Fates Conquest/Birthright? I want to make sure I have everything in order, would all 3 games be downloaded to one cartridge every way so it wouldn't waste SD card space? Would I have to do it through a specific manner, such as the normal online Nintendo Shop, "Explore Fate", "Dragon's Gate", and through the choice prompt between Nohr and Hoshido during Chapter 6?
  4. Can I purchase one physical cartridge copy of Fire Emblem Fates Birthright or Conquest pre-owned in some manner, through Amazon for example and still get the discount for the two other paths? On Nintendo's fire emblem fates website it says "Buy the first game for US$39.99MSRP/CA$49.99MSRP, then purchase and download the other paths for just US$19.99MSRP/CA$24.99MSRP. MSRP = Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, Actual Price May Vary" How does the discount work, would it come with a discount code when you buy the game brand new, or is it something that works with all Fire Emblem Fates Cartridges where once you purchase one version you then can purchase the other two paths for $19.99 no matter what. Is the discount for the two other paths locked to brand new retail purchased games? How about digital purchases? I'm trying to get all 3 versions, Conquest, Birthright and Revelations as cheap as possible on one cartridge without spending upwards of $100-$300 on the special edition, or purchase it new still pay $80 for an 2 year old title to save money and SD card space. This question didn't seem redundant since I can't find it on reddit/google, and Nintendo Customer Service is closed/busy due to it being Cyber Monday. The website isn't too specific as to how the discount actually works so I came here. Be as specific with your response as possible please.
