My main concern is just that there seem to be a couple movesets that dont have a master tier equivalent which would leave them in the dust

Why do we think the advanced classes will be objectively weaker? Would it not be like 3H where a good portion are perfectly fine end game classes on their own?

It's really telling how low the standards are when I was actually surprised to see them give the duscurian npcs the right skin tone in their portraits

Alois, Hanneman and Cyril don't deserve to be left out just because they're less popular 😞 Cyril especially gets a lot of uneeded hate imo. He doesn't bring up Rhea nearly as much as people think he does. People did the same thing with Leonie idolizing Jeralt where they made it out to be her entire personality when she actually has a lot of really charming supports and I can bet they're going to do the same thing for Monica and Edelgard

I don't know if its just me seeing things but after watching the Azure Gleam trailer again, I noticed that Felix has very different attack animations then that of the mercenary class. We can assume he's a swordmaster in this trailer so my guess is that swordmaster will actually have a seperate moveset from mercenary and that the mercenary upgrade will instead be hero

I'm having a blast with Manuela's! it's really good for crowd control and it looks really pretty too. I'm glad they went through the effort of giving the non-student characters fun little gimmicks as well

Rodrigue is playable? I wasn't expecting him of all npcs to get an upgrade

This actually makes me pretty curious to see how all the stats work. Will it be the exact same as it was in the original fe warriors or will there be some differences? Will luck still be the dominant stat or will it go back to being something that doesn't matter 90% of the time

I'm actually a bit curious. Do all Warriors games reveal their full roster before release? I can't remember if the og fe warriors did but I could've sworn that aoc kept the great fairies, kohga, master monk, terrako (playable), calamity ganon and the four successors hidden until launch
Actually I'm pretty sure the only characters explicitly shown to be playable before hand were link, zelda, impa and the four champions

I know how it feels to get really defensive over warriors. Everytime I bring up that I'm into it I feel the need to justify that it's more challenging then what the trailers make it look like

I'm a lil dissapointed that Leonie didn't use a bow anywhere since she leans towards bow knight more then any other character on the roster.
Also Raphael is hot, bara fans are eating good

A lotta people are getting this game simply because its Fire Emblem/3H related so much like HW and AOC, it will probably end up being a lot of people's first musou. Is this true in your case or do you have prior experience with the series? If so, which games have ya played.
I'm kind of a musou veteran myself, I was introduced through the og fe warriors and went on to play both hyrule warriors games and quite a few dynasty, samurai and orochi warriors games too. I even played the one piece warriors games despite never reading the manga or watching the anime because of how much I love the series.

With all 24 students + Shez and Monica confirmed, that will give the game a base roster of at least 26 characters which is really big for a new musou game. It makes me wonder if they'll even have room to squeeze in characters such as Seteth, Flayn, Shamir etc. And those are the faculty members people actually like. Never mind the less popular ones like Alois, Hanneman and Gilbert.

I like his Japanese voice, it's cute, like him. and I like simple characters too, I think they're charming!

They're all S rank in my heart. idk why so many people dislike Ignatz... he's just a sweet boy with a bad haircut who likes art, that's adorable.

I don't really have anything to base this on but I kinda feel like Rhea could be this games gotoh! Like she could join in one of the last few chapters of the war phase as like the tier 4 version of the priest and bishop class with like really good spells and base stats

I'm going Blue Lions! I'll probably get whoever the gay/bi male option is (cause all the boys in blue lions seem to be straight) and then Marianne. If I have room I'd like to get Bernadetta and then maybe one more boy? Either Caspar, Lindhart or Raphael? I'm kinda leaning towards Raphael cause I don't wanna spit up Caspar and Lindhart

I'm playing on lunatic diffuculty if that helps. Also all of the pairing has been done (except Avatar X Brady) so it's too late to change any of them

Conquest: I heard that this game can be really difficult at times. Especially chapter 10.
I've played Awakening, all 3 GBA games, PoR and Gaiden and am in the middle of RD and Genealogy.
I'm not that confident in my FE skills as I struggle even in PoR hard (which I heard was supposed to be easy). Could I get some advice as to what Difficulty I should play, units I should pick etc. Please?

I'm nearing the end of my PoR playthrough (I'm at chapter 28) and I love it and am very excited to start my RD playthrough.
So before I do that could I ask for some help before I play it? I heard that unit balance is very bad in this game and that it's harder than most Fire Emblem games. Which units should I consider using? Is there anything I should know before I jump in? How hard is this game compared to others?

Damn...that sucks. Still though, with the power of bias, Bexp and healing every minor scratch I see on the battlefield I won't give up on mist!If you like mages, then prepare to be dissapointed with Mist once she promotes to valkyrie, because she wont use magic, only staves and swords, and with her pathetic strenght she will be useless even for opening doors. really, Mist is one of the worst characters in the game. as for Tormod, unlike Mist, he can be decent if you take the time to train him, but Soren, Calill and Illyana are better options

Probably not gonna happen but I really hope some patch update removes the gender lock and adds master tier equivalent to other class movesets. At first it was cool that they derived moveset inspiration from 3H class system but now it just seems really needlessly limiting
