  1. It depends on the unit's Attack Speed. You wouldn't want to use it on units who would be doubled even if this skill is equipped or is generally* doubling anyway. *generally = almost always
  2. We already have Kronya's weapon which is depicted as a Knife but upscaled as a full-sized sword in its in-game model. We do, however, have throwing animations for Hand Axes and Short Spear (they use Sword Animations at melee). It might be weird to see knives spinning in mid-air in game but it kinda happens that way in real life,
  3. Related on the topic of markets is there any type of weapon you wanted to return in this game? (Think of the ones that existed in the previous games but not in Three Houses) I'm on the fence on Blades, Greatlances and Poleaxes.
  4. I'm anticipating the reveal of the new classes today (Feb 5, 8 am UTC). What could be the mystery abilities? Could we be wrong with our predictions?
  5. I think we can swap around items similar to the most recent linear Fire Emblem. I doubt they will make FE4 locked items (ie things you need to do to give Larcei her Holy Weapon).
  6. Are the starting lesson plans always the same as their seminars or are there exceptions to the rule?
  7. As we draw closer I want to show you the Easiest Classes the DLC characters can reach assuming hard mode and they are recruited the latest possible chapter. I'll update as soon as I've finished each character Yuri (assuming he auto-levels Sword and Faith) Advanced: Lord - 5 TS (Training Sessions) (speculated because he's a house leader) "Trickster" - 0TS (canon class) Assassin - 7 TS Swordmaster - 8 TS Master Mortal Savant - 23 TS Holy Knight - 42 TS Dark Knight* - 51 TS *might as well ignore them. I've included them for the sake of completion. Worst case scenario: MS is the only master class he has practical access to. Balthus (assuming he auto-levels Brawling and Faith) (note that he auto-levels as a Mercenary) Advanced: "War Monk" - 0 TS (canon class) "Trickster" - 8 TS Grappler - 8 TS Master War Master - 29 TS Mortal Savant - 32 TS Holy Knight - 38 TS Constance (assuming she auto-levels Reason and Authority) Advanced: Pegasus Knight - 8 TS "Dark Flier" - 5 TS (canon class) Warlock - 9 TS "Valkyrie" - 17 TS Assassin - 17 TS Master Mortal Savant - 28 TS Dark Knight - 36 TS Gremory - 36 TS Hapi (assuming she auto-levels Faith and Riding) (note that she auto-levels as a Mage) Advanced: Pegasus Knight - 9 TS "Valkyrie" - 8 TS (canon class) Bishop - 15 TS "Trickster" - 16 TS Master Holy Knight - 18 TS Dark Knight - 23 TS Gremory - 29 TS
  8. Are the in-battle costumes, by default, still set to "Monastery" for their "canon"/"intended" classes after the update?
  9. I believe they appear as enemies before they're recruited. If they're not, they just stay underground.
  10. I think the whole picture here is not to actively seek venomstones. However, once you come across one, eh, why not?
  11. Venin Weapons are as useful as the Subdue Combat Art. It is useful to train units that you know will be forced to deploy later at least to par levels (recommended level or 1+2*(Chapter-1) whichever is higher).
  12. I'm gonna update my own prediction based on new info. The Japanese Twitter just dropped a lot of info. I'm anticipating translations
  13. Don't you have something up your sleeves, Claude. We could use some right now.
  14. At least their "canon" final classes are different. Just a thought though. Looking at the "Valkyrie" class, it may seem like a smooth transition to Dark Knight. However, if you do so, you'll be sacrificing 3-range for +5 damage. Oslo, the sat boost goes from +4 to +2, so that is net +3 damage. Another thought. If the new classes are influenced by Awakening designs, is Catherine gonna wear a battle ballgown when I turn her into a war "monk"?
  15. They're all fixed. So even if you want Wyvern Rider Edelgard, you will still get Fortress Knight Edelgard. Okay, this will be my prediction for the Ashen Wolves stats and skills assuming they will join at chapter 9 Hard Mode. Yuri (lv 17 Thief) HP - 32 Str - 18 Mag - 13 Dex - 19 Spd - 23 Lck - 14 Def - 11 Res - 11 Cha - 18 Skills - B in Swords and Faith/Authority, D in Authority/Faith, E+ in Reason Balthus (lv 17 Mercenary) HP - 40 Str - 22 Mag - 10 Dex - 8 Spd - 15 Lck - 6 Def - 16 Res - 7 Cha - 10 Skills - B in Brawl and Axes, C in Swords, E+ in Authority Constance (lv 17 Mage) HP - 28 Str - 7 Mag - 23 Dex - 12 Spd - 12 Lck - 6 Def - 4 Res - 16 Cha - 11 Skills - B in Reason and Swords, D in Flying Hapi (lv 17 Mage) HP - 33 Str - 11 Mag - 21 Dex - 16 Spd - 12 Lck - 7 Def - 5 Res - 22 Cha - 9 Skills - B in Reason and Swords, D in Riding
  16. Thanks, I'm trying to figure out what skill levels would the Ashen Wolves have on the beginning of Chapter 9 (level 17). How many weeks of instructions have elapsed by then?
  17. For the Abyss Mode they are limited. Maybe abilities only. For the main game, however....
  18. Great Knight would be great if you don't want your game to be to easy. If your playstyle includes moving tanks, or warping tanks to chokepoints. The downside is that using tanks are quite unpopular as sweeping is far more preferred.
  19. Does anyone figured out how auto-leveling affects skills (IE lance, Axe)? Does the unit's class influence it? If so, how? Also can anyone verify this Reddit post?
  20. Thanks. Isn't is weird that they're in an advanced class by that level?
  21. I know that when you recruit a unit on a specific chapter, you get them at a specific level. What are the lowest and highest levels you can recruit your units? Also, does Cyril's aptitude works as he auto-levels?
  22. Do we already have their lesson plans datamined? Which White Clouds chapters are speculated to take place concurrently with Cindered Shadows ?
