  1. It's a theme park in the town built by Milton Hershey. It's owned by Hershey's and it's relatively popular.
  2. @Etrurian emperor Don't lose hope now. People have been fighting this tooth and nail. Do not give into fear so close to the end. There's too much at stake to give evil even the slightest chance to say it will prevail over good. America is fighting, and I feel it will win.
  3. They can't get it there in time. Hell, Roberts might not even hear it if it does make it there.
  4. The Karma has already hit for him. Him losing on the 3rd would be the ultimate hit to his ego. A failure for the entire world to see. An inability to reclaim anything from his loss in any way, shape, or form. To be publicly exposed in such a dramatic fashion is the narcissist's worst nightmare. He can spin everything else in his life, but he cannot spin losing an election by over 50 points, which is entirely possible.
  5. 100,000 is still a lot, mind you, and it's bullocks, but if that typo was actually true, I think Houston would've been in riot mode.
  6. Late October update: Only one team in the NFL remains winless after two close losses, one of which lost by a field goal in overtime.
  7. ^ This is the reason why I have very little faith in Tennessee electing any Democrat to senator, governor, or president for the foreseeable future.
  8. I live literally next door to Kentucky. There's no way, even with gaffes, he's gonna even win by less than 10 points.
  9. I wouldn't hinge on McConnell, but as Meat Loaf said, two outta three ain't bad.
  10. I am not talking about right now. If Biden wins in November, his AG and Treasury will investigate it. The SEC would absolutely make an example of these dumbasses.
  11. I feel like the new Attorney General and Secretary of the Treasury are going to have fun unpacking this if Biden wins.
  12. It's called projection. Conservatives do this a lot. They have to accuse their opponent of whatever they do because they have to claim the other side did it first to be justified in doing it. Thankfully, it seems far fewer people are buying it by this point.
  13. VP Debate went better. Kamala smoked Pence hard.
  14. To add, Gorsuch himself penned the opinion in Bostock v. Clayton County. Someone who publishes the opinion defending the rights of LGBT people is unlikely to back down from that opinion.
  15. https://www.out.com/news/2020/10/05/scotus-justices-suggest-overturning-marriage-equality?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=news In other news, the argument for SCOTUS term limits in a nutshell.
  16. iirc Fred Sr. was deep into Alzheimer's and still refused to retire, so they kept an office open for him and gave him blank papers to sign and made sure his phone could only call his secretary. I think Trump is similarly in denial about his condition.
  17. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/texas-sports-nation/texans/article/Texans-fire-coach-Bill-O-Brien-15622956.php Better late than never, I suppose. RIP to Romeo Crennel, though. He gets to lead yet another team to disappointment.
  18. The NFL will not cancel. There's no way the owners would let the right thing get in the way of their greed.
  19. @Integrity I think the Titans may have fucked up. Both of our teams may have to forfeit this Sunday.
  20. I always thought that a group of heroes from elsewhere should try their best to prepare humanity for the real villains by sending monsters to attack them, only for said villains to create the Rangers. Except that the person they sent to help the Rangers helps them to avoid being manipulated by the power of their morphers so the power to defend Earth doesn't go away when the real threat emerges.
  21. You know the problem with Kirk Cousin's insatiable appetite sometimes, Ike? Sometimes he just gets stuffed #TitanUp
  22. If Trump wins, even if the Senate is won by the Democrats, Trump can veto legislation, and his conservative Supreme Court will probably shoot down anything that can navigate past his veto. That's why he must go, no matter what.
  23. I should clarify that I agree that we should try to implement more progressive policies, but without moderates on either side, we will fall into a civil conflict similar to that of Spain in the 1930s.
