  1. Okay, thanks for the tip, I'm going to the unit optimization thread for further discussion about this. Also, in regards to Treasure of the Ruins DLC map, is it any harder than the Golden Gaffe DLC map from Awakening in the similar vein how Terrifying Spirit Mountain is harder than EXPonential Growth in Awakening? If so, how is the Treasure of the Ruins map harder? Also, do the enemies in Treasure of the Ruins map scale based on your story progress in a similar vein like Terrifying Spirit Mountain? Also, in regards to the class/skill combination I've mentioned for Midoriko, is it possible for to pull this kind for Midoriko in Nohr path? And can I pull this off in the Hoshido path (And I know I can definitely pull this optimization off in the Invisible Kingdom path)?
  2. I was wondering if it's possible to have this skill/class combination for Midoriko? Class: Maid Stubbornness Smithy Skill Easy Life Flamboyant Extravagance Also, would you say that Midoriko is less useful in the Nohr path than the Hoshido path since there aren't a lot of Luck skills that would make use of her personal skill, Lucky Charm? If so, it is recommended to make Midoriko a Maid in the Nohr path?
  3. So the mobs actually scale unlike the one in Awakening where the levels are fixed? How do the mobs scale, is it based on your story progress or your overall level of your entire party? Also, do you get Dragon Vein Points for doing DLC maps?
  4. I have a few questions about the new DLC map "Sacred Mountain of Fear": Is it similar to the EXPonential Growth from Awakening where you can train your units? And is this map available in the Nohr route? Because if it is, it's really kills the purpose of "limited resources" challenge of the Nohr path. I heard the map is supposed to be harder in comparison to EXPonential Growth, how is it harder? Is it that you can't grind off from the map easily like you do in ExPonential Growth?
  5. This one here (if you look at the date, it's around the time when the English trailer was released). Also, I've noticed that Rena Strober deleted her tweet in regards to her role in Fire Emblem Fates. I'm curious if she violated NDA (non-disclosure agreement), which is basically a contract where a voice actor cannot reveal details about a project they are working on until given the thumbs up and any violations either result in a very heavy fine, or being kicked out of the project. At the same time, however, she seem to have favorite some of the tweets.
  6. Thanks, but what about making Sakura into a Maid, and what other characters I can reclass or promote into Maids and make best use of them as a Maid?
  7. Also, I think I've also asked this in another thread, but is Sakura better as a War Priestess or as a Maid via marriage support from Jakob? And if I go with third route, which characters are best classed into the Maid class? Also, is it a good idea to make Elise into a Maid, or better as a Strategist?
  8. I think he's talking about a "explorable map where you can train your units outside of battle". From what I've heard, the third route should allow you to do that.
  9. I want take advantage of Midoriko's Lucky Charm personal skill by maximizing her luck and get skills like Flamboyant, Easy Life, Fortune, Smithy Skill, and Stubbornness on her. I pretty sure I asked this in another thread, but are there any good potential mothers I can pair with her father, Kaze, to maximize both her luck and speed growth rates and stats?
  10. Oh, okay then. If I own Hoshido, Invisible, and Nohr routes, that means I get both Dread Scroll and Dark Falcon Wings in my 3DS. Is it possible to get the Dread Scrolls in Nohr route and vice versa, or are they strictly exclusive in those routes?
  11. How do you get the Dread Fighter and Dark Falcon promotion items from Hoshido and Nohr respectfully? Are they supposed to be very rare? In regards to the Buddy Seal, the Avatar only needs to get A support to access the class from his/her partner, but can his/her partner do the same to access the Avatar's secondary class of the player's choice? Is Sakura better as a War Priestess, or as a Maid reclassed via marriage with Jakob (or the Avatar if he has access to the Butler class)?
  12. More questions relating to Mozume: Is she a more useful unit in the Nohr route than the Hoshido route since there aren't a lot of characters in the Nohr route (except Zero) that can use bows and one of Mozume's best reclass option is the Bowman for early game safety reasons? I've heard Takumi is a stronger bowman than Mozume because of his higher starting stats and his unique bow, is that true? And what advantages Mozume has as a bowman over Takumi? Is Silas/Mozume the best marriage option, or are there any better ones? Also, another question in regards to the Hoshido and Nohr units you get in general in different routes. What advantages do the Hoshido units have over Nohr units and vice versa? And the disadvantages.
  13. Little funs questions that I came up with: Are there going to be DLC maps, and will some DLC maps be exclusive to several routes? Will EXP gain from DLC maps be limited to the Hoshido/Invisible Route to prevent player abuse from the Nohr route (or have a map that is similar to EXPonential Growth and The Golden Gaffe be Hoshido/Invisible Route exclusive)? How do you get Dragon Vein Points for My Castle (I'm pretty sure someone asked this before)? Why do people think that Mozume sucks as an "Est" unit? Is it worth training her in Nohr Lunatic difficulty? Also, relating to the last question, what recommended classes I should class/reclass Mozume to in Nohr route, Hoshido route, and Invisible Kingdom route? Suppose I have a level 2 Vendor and bought out all the Parallel Seals and visit another player's My Castle with a level 3 vendor, will the Parallel Seals be out of stock if I visited that castle?
  14. Wow, that is a lot of pairings. Anyways, if anyone has a TV Tropes account, I've created a page of numerous fan favorite couples. I'm also curious on how many pairing possibilities I can get between characters from Nohr and Hoshido, considering the fact that you (nearly) get all the characters from both routes. Anyways, if I were to play the third route, my pairings will follow:
  15. I agree with you here, I'm going to find a mod or the OP to see if s/he can change the title.
  16. That's definitely not Christine Marie Cabanos voicing Elise nor is her she voicing Sakura. I'm very familiar with Christine Marie Cabanos's voice acting and her voicing acting is known to be very high-pitched to the point that her voice acting sounds more like a 8-10 year old girl (hence, this is why she's often typecast as lolis). Elise and Sakura sound much older that Cabanos would normally voice. Apparently, what's funny is that I originally thought that Christine Marie Cabanos would voice both Elise and Sakura since she does have a history of voicing "little sister" characters. However, noting that Christine isn't really voicing either of them, my best guess is that she may end up voicing Midoriko providing if Cup of Tea Productions is willing to hire her for the English dub. Anyways, here are some of my guesses and predictions for the English dub (note that these are just guesses and predictions): [spoiler=Anna]Karen Strassman, more likely a role reprisal from Awakening. [spoiler=Arthur]Jamieson Price, Arthur strongly reminds me of Garen from League of Legends if you ask me. [spoiler=Flannel and Nishiki]Both should be voiced by Grant George, since they both are the kind of characters he usually voices [spoiler=Hinata and Siegbert]Johnny Yong Bosch, it's time for him to voice someone in a Fire Emblem game. [spoiler=Shinonome]Reuben Langdon, who else would you go for to voice someone as brash as Shinonome [spoiler=Saizou and Benolt]Patrick Seitz, two of the manly looking characters should be voiced with a manly baritone voice. [spoiler=Midoriko]Christine Marie Cabanos, she's quite known to voice "nice girls" like Midoriko. [spoiler=Mozume]Brianna Knickerbocker. You might not heard about her, but she's fairly new. If you are an anime nerd, she's known to voice Itsuki Inubozaki from Yuki Yuna Is a Hero, Chisaki Hiradaira from Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea, and Akane Awakusu from Durarara!! Her vocal range is almost similar to Stephanie Shen when Sheh was once typecast as soft-spoken and gentle girls. Apparently, I feel confident that her vocal range fits well into Mozume's character. [spoiler=Asama and Foleo]Lucien Dodge, he's quite known to voice "nice guys" in anime and video game alike, and many of the characters he voiced in the past has similar personalities to Asama and Foleo (and it's only a matter of time he'll voice a trap some point [spoiler=Ophelia]Kate Higgins, characters based out of you-know-who [spoiler=Effie]Stephanie Sheh, she voiced another knight character named Kjelle from Awakening, who has a similar personality like Effie [spoiler=Silas]Max Mittelman, he's also a newer voice actor and his vocal range is similar to Sam Riegel
  17. Well, from what I have been told in The Fandom Post, people were saying that Ben Diskin was voicing Takumi using a deeper voice (which while Ben Diskin is capable of using a deeper voice for his older characters, he's also known for his higher pitched voice as well). [spoiler=For Lazward, Luna, and Odin]It's very likely that Liam O'Brien, Julie Ann Taylor, and Kaiji Tang will reprise their roles as Lazward, Luna, and Odin respectfully, since they are Inigo, Severa, and Owain respectfully [spoiler=Matoi, Gurei, and Syalla]Pretty much the same thing with Lazward, Luna, and Odin, as they share the same Japanese voice actors with Cordella, Gaius, and Tharja respectfully and are based out of them [spoiler='Tsukuyomi]What's funny is that I originally had Ben Diskin as this character since Ben is known to pull higher-pithced voices for many of the characters he voiced in the past. But if Ben is voicing Takumi, then it's likely that Yuri Lowenthal will voice Tsukuyomi. Keep in note that the reason Cup of Tea had Yuri Lowenthal and Hunter MacKenzie Austin as Ricken and Nowi respectfully because there was a lot of unfortunate controversy where the player can have adults marry the said two characters when both Ricken and Nowi happen to be kids (even though Nowi is like 1000 years old, she's still a child by dragon age standards). The English localization toned down a lot of pedophilic implications with Ricken and Nowi right down having the characters sound more teen-like instead. So this will most likely be the same case with Tsukuyomi as well. Also, some speculated that either Eden Riegel or Danielle Judovits or voicing Elise. I wasn't able to pick up who was voicing Sakura, but I would say it's likely Eden Riegel. The reason people said that Matthew Mercer voiced Ryouma because one of the tweets he favorited have someone mentioning him voicing "the samurai lord" in Fire Emblem Fates (which he is referring to Ryouma). However, there is a good chance that Matthew Mercer would be voicing both Ryouma and Xander. Keep in mind that there were 3-5 voice actors in Awakening that voiced more than one character. And considering the fact that Fire Emblem Fates have the player get a completely different set of characters from different routes, it's very likely that the voice acting will involve a voice actor voicing a character in Nohr and another in Hoshido (one possible good example would be someone like Patrick Seitz voicing both Saizou and Benoit. Also, my gut feelings is that Orion Acaba or Josh Grelle is voicing male Corrin (although you might surprised with Josh Grelle being in the list, he has done a few voice work in Los Angeles before for video game work, which is recent role as Ludger from Tales of Xillia 2, also done by Cup of Tea Productions).
  18. Yes, she gives the bowman class to her child instead IIRC. Also, Mozume is more valuable unit in Conquest route than the Birthright route, the reason being is that since you don't really have a lot of access to bow users in the Nohr route and you'll be facing a lot of pegasus knights, getting someone who can use bows is incredibly useful and Mozume is one of the few characters that can reclass into a class that can use bows (which is the Holy Bowman class). This, combined with the skills from her other classes with Easy Life, Extravagance, Strength Seal, Line of Death, Raven Strike, and Bowfaire makes her a deadly archer (with Takumi as the only bowman that completely outclasses her due to his OP special bow he has). However, she's very difficult to train in the Conquest route and require a lot of kill stealing and investment to train her up since you have very limited opportunities to train her. In fact, I find it more difficult to train Mozume than say Donnell in Awakening since at least with Awakening, the game is very forgiving by having skirmishes and the EXP DLC map to help train Donnell (and the EXP map is how I trained Donnell into a late game monster). And even if Fates throw in DLC maps, it's very likely that they'll disable any form of EXP gain in the Conquest route to avoid any exploitation or abuse or have the EXP grind map exclusive for the Hoshido. However, I will say it's worth it to train Mozume since she's going to be very deadly if you train her correctly.
  19. In regards to the voice acting, as an anime fan myself, I can tell you this, the English dub for Awakening uses Cup of Tea Productions, and it's the same studio that does a lot of jRPG of Japanese video game voice acting such as Blazblue, the Tekken series, Rune Factory 4, and the Tales series. So it's very likely that Cup of Tea Productions will be involved in the Engilsh dub for this game. That being said, like most jRPGs that isn't either Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts, the voice acting is going to be non-union (and IIRC, the voice acting for Awakening was non-union since they didn't list Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham in the credits despite the former confirming her role in that game). So don't expect high profile union voice actors like Steve Blum, Kari Wahlgren, Crispin Freeman, Troy Baker, Nolan North, or Tara Strong in the English dub for this game. Instead, expecting voice actors who normally work in anime such as Johnny Yong Bosch, Kaiji Tang, Julie Ann Taylor, Cristina Vee, Christine Marie Cabanos, Grant George, Todd Haberkorn, etc. to have roles in this game. That being said, Cup of Tea Productions, when compared to Bang Zoom, rarely uses newer voice actors and instead uses well-established voice actors in the video game and anime industry for their voice acting, but they are willing to throw a few newer names in the mix (in fact, Orion Acaba's roles as Kellam and Gerome is how he managed to get a lot of fame and recognition within the video game AND the anime fanbase). As for Xander's English voice, it's really hard to tell since it's just a trailer (and during the E3 demo, they were still using the Japanese voice acting, indicating that the voice acting has yet been finalized). That being said, I can tell you that Matthew Mercer (the voice actor for Chrom) has confirmed in Twitter through favorites that he's voicing someone in Fates, but didn't specify the character. However, judging by the trailer, I would say Matthew Mercer is either voicing Ryouma or Xander since Matthew is quite known to voice big brother or fatherly type characters in anime and video games alike. However, it's very possible a sound-alike is involved. A good example is there were several English dub voice acting clips of Chrom where people mistook Troy Baker voicing him before it was confirmed that it was really Matthew Mercer that voiced Chrom (and yes, both Matthew Mercer and Troy Baker are known to have similar vocal ranges to the point that Matt actually took over three of Troy's old video game and anime roles when Troy went big into the video game motion capture industry).
