  1. Please just edit your message next time for less spam :3

Also, anyone have good skills for Camilla?

I also have to fill out more forms after I celebrate my sister's birthday, so try to keep spam low with wants unless you are putting an updated skill list or you are putting a code

Sorry about that! We can always go back to our first post about our Castle if we update it correct?

  2. Before anything, I messed up on passing down skills to my male Kanna and was wondering if any of you guys have male Kanna with the Lethality skill equipped? If so, PLEASE PM with your Castle address. Prefer a castle that's easy to seize.

    My Castle Address: 15059-39708-52294-15444

    Avatar: Blodwen (Female)

    Campaign: Nohr

Resources: Topaz (Lv.3), Milk (Lv.3), Staff & Armory (both Lv. 3)

All units stationed are set to "Hold". My throne is empty for an easy seize.

    Skills Equipped:

Blodwen - Hoshidan Unity, Draconic Hex, Sol, Lethality, Luna

Keaton - Death Blow, Better Odds, Odd Shaped, Pavise, Wary Fighter

Kaze - Poison Strike, Death Blow, Quick Draw, Savage Blow, Lethality

Mozu - Quick Draw, Underdog, Certain Blow, Death Blow, Counter

Azura - Luck +4, Inspiring Song, Voice of Peace, Amaterasu, Renewal

Xander - Shelter, Elbow Room, Defender, Renewal, Lethality

Elise - Demoiselle, Res +2, Counter, Pavise, Live to Serve

    Enjoy your stay!

  3. Absolutely. Flannel joins as one of the last units, chapter 14 or 15. I promoted him asap and he did his thing juuust fine 'til he hit 5 (for that Odd Cry.) He was now ready for d'at swap to General thanks to Benoit (and was currently romancing Aqua at B.) As a General his weakness was more apparent (STAY AWAY FROM CASTERS) and while his speed in his starting class is good enough, there was no growth in it and as a General, doubling was common. I pushed all the way to 15 for Pavise. Having Defense Formation was amazing, noticeable immediately. Pavise, not so much. Helped for a few clutch moments, but honestly, it wasn't really worth it. While a General, I made sure to use both axes and lances evenly, so if I went Hero he'd have a good axe rank, and if I went one of the Pegasus routes, lance wouldn't fall short. All of them had skills I'd like, and in theory, would help, but after I got Pavise, I went back to that wolf goodness. And booooy was I glad!

Flannel, in Defensive Stance with General Benoit was just... I cannot explain to you just how fearsome he had become. Damage was laughable, and killing the enemy wasn't difficult. I sent them on their merry little way, alone, assuming there aren't many mages, and never had to worry about them. If I needed to wall up, there are so many tanks that no unit was left unprotected. Flannel ended up being one of my most prized units.

If I were to do this setup again, I'd skip Pavise and perhaps go for Mirror Strike. Pavise didn't trigger enough, nor was the difference noticeable most of the time.

Thank you so much, you were very thorough with explaining everything for Flannel. I'm surprised because I thought Pavise would help him, but the infrequent skill activation doesn't sound promising. So that's definitely good to know, I'll definitely remember that!

Reading up on Mirror Strike, that sounds great especially for casters and the fact that Flannel doesn't seem to have the best resistance growth just by looking at his stats. And it seems that having Pegasus warrior as an option from marriage seal (from Aqua or F!Kamui) seems very beneficial for Flannel to get Mirror Strike.

Once again, you've been really helpful! I really appreciate your feedback always!

  4. Oh, wow. Well I'm sure glad I could help and inspire. I hope it works as well in practice as it does on paper, ha! Mine unfortunately did not have Magic Counter or Renewal and was still quite impressive, so I'm certain this build will not disappoint!

I know it's been a while but I'm curious as to how you used Flannel from your experience (skills, classes, etc) if you don't mind.

  5. I haven't entered the first dungeon since there was a lot to do in my opinion. Like catching the flag in my opinion, and having Link run around doing errands, etc. For me, I was okay with it at first since that's how it usually goes, but then it felt like it took forever to reach the next major steps to get the story going. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to as it drags on. But for me, it surely felt like forever to do what needed to be done to finally start going after Zelda. But nonetheless, it's amazing so far and I really like it besides those things I mentioned.

  6. Oh yes, it is gorgeous. However, if you liked the Tingle Tuner at all, you probably know it's no longer in the game, which is really disappointing.

Oh no really? Ah well. At least the graphics do look amazing. I'll have to try it out soon. I've played a little of Skyward Sword too though I'm not sure as of yet whether I'd add that to my favorites. Have you played that one by any chance?

  7. Yes I do have a favorite Zelda game actually. It just so happens to ALSO be Wind Waker!

That's so awesome! I've actually never met someone else who also has WW as their favorite so this really cool!!

I've yet to play it again on the Wii U, but from what I've seen it's beautiful!

  8. SWIMMING

    SWIMMING IS MY LIFE

    WELCOME TO THE FOREST

    WHAT'S YOUR 100 FR TIME???

    ALSO NICE ICON!!!

    Thank you!

You sound very passionate about swimming! Hmm 100 fr time? Although I enjoy swimming, I haven't tried for my actual time in that. Though I'm planning on swimming more next month so hopefully I'll get the opportunity to find out my 100 fr time and let you know! Thank you for taking an interest!

  9. Welcome to the forums Aqua!

I agree with DodgeDusk, if you have art you're comfortable with sharing, we'd all love to see it. And if you don't mind, what's your favorite Zelda game?

Thank you, and my favorite game of the Legend of Zelda series would have to be Wind Waker! Do you have a favorite game from the series too?

Oh and yes,I was able to make a post at the Creative sub-board! I'm really liking the forest dwellers here!

  10. Oh, wow. Well I'm sure glad I could help and inspire. I hope it works as well in practice as it does on paper, ha! Mine unfortunately did not have Magic Counter or Renewal and was still quite impressive, so I'm certain this build will not disappoint!

Is that so? If anything, I'd like to try it out. I do like the War Priestess class and would like to try it out for a F!Kamui. If I'm able to get those skills for Flannel, I'll definitely let you know if they work just as well as it sounds here!

  11. Hi everyone, I'm aquaticeprince-s!

I'm a frequent visitor to serenesforest and decided to join today to see what it has to offer for members. Like everyone else, I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem! My favorite titles from Fire Emblem are Sacred Stones, Blazing Sword, and I'm sure Fates will be added to the list too! Besides Fire Emblem, I really like the Tales of series games, Legend of Zelda series, and a bit of Resident Evil but mainly RE 4 since it was my first of the series!

I also like drawing (I drew my icon!), swimming, reading and playing games!

Thanks for stopping by to read!

  12. Hi everyone, here's a few pictures I've done this month for Fire Emblem Fates.

Mainly Flannel right now since he's one of my favorite characters from the upcoming FE!

If interested, my tumblr aquaticprince-s! I'd like to get back into drawing again and probably attempt to color digitally!
