Those lines were only translated that way by the localization, it doesn't exist in the japanese text. I do agree that I found Chrom/Olivia's family dynamic fitting and rather cute, but you listed some weak reasons :P
For one, Inigo's japanese name is Azur. Azure is literally the color blue. This leaves the question: why did Olivia name her son (whose canon hair color is grey) the color blue? I dunno, but it atleast fits better if his father is the blue haired lord. Alot of people also note their uncanny resemblance, hair color or not.
Inigo is also the only other Chrom child that mentions The Brand and their Future Past conversation is rather well written as Inigo being the prince in line who doesn't know his father or his place in the royal lineage.
Not even Cynthia is as convincing as Chrom's child, which says alot given that her parents are the most implied ship in the game.
