Nobody ever said that his behavior was excusable or right. 😕 He responded to his problems with his family and society in an awful way. I didn't even care for him all that much at first, I only recruited him because as female Byleth, it's easy and I tended to like the womanizer archtype. But as I read more and more of his supports and saw his endings, I grew really fond of him. In fact, that poor behavior of his is really more or less a mask hiding who he actually is deep down. He's being a douche because he doesn't think he can be loved for who he is and thinks he has no worth as a person beyond his Crest due to that. So he's being awful because he thinks he and society are awful, more or less. Characters like Dedue can take the time to get to know Sylvain in their supports and they realize he's much more than his jerkish behavior towards women. I'm a woman too, but while I don't believe there are any men out there who would love me and don't have a ton of respect for myself, this is hardly why I like Sylvain. To assume such things is insulting and rude, so please shut up, thank you. I like Sylvain because he's an interesting twist on the womanizer archtype, I really like his character development, he's got several funny moments, and he's good-looking. That's all. Nothing to do with self respect or disrespect.

I disagree with this too. Dedue and Dimitri have been through worse, sure. Arguably, Ashe has too. But the others? No way. Sylvain has had put up with being outright hated by his brother just because he EXISTS and his brother repeatedly tried to kill him. Miklan left him on a cold mountain to die and also shoved him down a well, and in both scenarios, Sylvain could've been lost/trapped for hours, maybe days. Then to top it all off, he witnesses his brother turn into a literal monster and his expression and dialogue indicate that he's pretty disturbed by it.

We did have Awakening characters in the first refresher seasonal banner, but I wouldn't mind seeing a dancer Frederick, especially if he's on a horse and either red or blue. I do feel like he'd be akin to dancer Reinhardt, having studied ballroom-type dancing and all since he's so proper and stuff.

I figure why not make this since Sword and Shield are still a big thing right now and some folks probably still play Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee too. I need some help here myself to get some trade evolutions in Sword as well as Zamazenta's Pokedex entry. At the moment, I'm looking evolve a Dusclops, Machoke, Karrablast, and Shelmet. Anybody want to help out? Feel free to request any other help any time too! 🙂 EDIT: Now I have a Haunter to evolve as well. lol

I agree that Sylvain gets some unnecessary hate, yeah. But I disagree that character development is overrated. Character development isn't EVERYTHING, but it still always helps. Some of the most beloved characters are so beloved because of their development. Take Zuko from Avatar for example. Or Vegeta from the Dragon Ball franchise. They're insanely popular among their respective franchise's fanbase because of how incredible their growth and development are. They do have one big thing in common, going from antagonist to hero, but still. They are perfect examples of how character development does wonders. And for an example in FE, Jill. She's one of the most popular Tellius characters because of her growth.

This is false. Sylvain is right that many women would just want him for his Crest. Women with Crests, such as Ingrid and Mercedes, have been targeted for baby-making for their Crests as well. Ingrid's paralogue is actually all about that! Some jerk noble wants to marry her just because she has a Crest and you have to fight this guy's troops. As for Mercedes, it's spoilers involving Jeritza, but she was targeted too. And Fodlan's entire society revolves around these Crests. Sylvain's assumption is not baseless. He's wrong to assume ALL women would treat him this way, yes. But he can't know for sure which ones would do so until it actually happens and he doesn't want it to. Actually, yes. We do learn how he handled things as Margrave Gautier through his endings. He's indicated to have been a very good leader, possibly one of the best in Fodlan. Not only did he make peace with Sreng so they didn't have territory issues or anything, he played one of the biggest roles in changing society so Crests were not so important and necessary. And if he's married, he basically turns into Frederick! He becomes absolutely faithful, loving, and dotes on his children. Of which he has many and loves them all equally.

He shows change in some of his support chains too. His A support with Byleth for instance. He definitely indicates that he's learned and stuff there. Thanks Byleth for it too. His B support with Dimitri is a good example too. Dimitri notes that Sylvain had "kept up his end of the bargain" which was to improve his behavior. Sure, this support is more hilarious than anything lol but still. Sylvain I see the mentally brokenness with. But Felix, I don't see it nearly as much. I've explained why before, and I don't feel like going into it again.

Dislike Sylvain all you wish, but this point is entirely false. He does eventually change. Anyway, Felix is probably my least favorite. I cannot stand his attitude at all. The hatred for chivalry and the fact that he seems to just bash anyone who disagrees with his views. And for little good reason.

Yeah, the more I look at it, the more I can see Sigurd and Deirdre now too. I'd pull for them anyway, Sigurd is already cool to me even though I haven't played his game. I'm waiting for a remake. Jugdral remake has to happen at some point...

We just got Summer Sylvain, no way he's going to be on this. Also, two seasonal alts before he gets a regular version? Please no, I want Lance of Ruin Sylvain...

Yeah, I'm not hoping much with legendary banners anymore. I'm done letting myself get so disappointed. Sure, I like Dimitri and I'm probably going to try for him when/if he does appear in October. But Elincia, whom I've been waiting for ages to see get a legendary version, I'm not ever going to expect her anymore, at least not anytime soon. I don't expect to see Claude this year either. It was still hard to tell for me.

Their duo unit is still too recent. And I'm pretty sure the next legendary banner is bringing us Dimitri. And no character should get spammed with alts, that's just stupid.

I could definitely work with that. Though it's kinda broad. But it gives me an excuse to use a Heroes setting for a change! At the same time though, I could still go with a number of scenarios here. lol

What actually bugs me (and bugged me when TMS was first added, of course), is that TMS was allowed in, but Warriors still hasn't been. I've wanted Darios and Lianna for some time as well as a Guardian Knight Freddy alt. Freddy is one of the few characters in FE Warriors to get an entirely new look because he previously could not promote and I LOVE his Guardian Knight armor. I guess Rowan could be TT or demote or something. He's lame, but I don't think you could have his sis and Darios without him, so... But anyway, FE Warriors is way more FE than TMS is, so why haven't we seen those characters yet?

So? Butterflies were all over the Adrift banner character art and none of them were associated with butterflies before. And that short haired dude totally has Ike-like hair. PoR Ike, specifically, since RD Ike's is a bit shorter than that.

The long hair doesn't seem...unruly enough to be Lucina's. For lack of a better term. If this isn't Ike and Soren or someone, I'm at a loss for who these two are, honestly. But looking at it more, I guess it could be Sigurd and Deirdre, and they'd be cool.

Doesn't look like Sigurd or Deirdre to me. I see Ike's hair and a shorter, long haired person that could be either a guy or a girl, technically, but if Ike is on the left, that's gotta be Soren.

That looks like Ike and Soren. What. o_O They'd make sense as a duo, but as dancers or singers? Uh...
