I know this was posted a month ago, but I need some trade evolutions right now myself... I also will at some point need Zamazenta's entry too, so why not. So whether the OP or someone else can help, I'm all for it. Right now I need to get Dusknoir, Machamp, Escavalier, and Accelgor.

Yeah, hopefully tonight. Even though it's always rather unlikely that a refresher banner is going to have someone I really want on it, I'm pretty curious about who will be on this one, so I'd like to see those silhouettes.

They are all remakes. They got graphical updates and some additions/changes to the gameplay. So they are not ports. OoT 3D and MM 3D are more remakes than TP and TWW, honestly. The graphical update they got is way bigger, and then they have very different interfaces from the originals too. And I should have said home console 3D Zelda, sorry.

The Princess and the Frog is so underrated, man. So underrated it even hurts because even though Tiana is recognized as an official Disney princess, she's hardly ever a part of any Disney Princess merch and such. 😕 I'm always looking, but I almost never see any and she's my favorite Disney princess, so it just stings. This could soon change though, because guess what Splash Mountain in the Disney parks is being rethemed to? HALLELUJAH!! I'm going to miss hearing "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" in that ride, but THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG FINALLY GETTING REAL LOVE! I can't say no to that! I'll be happy if I can add more to my Tiana doll and my dancing Naveen and Tiana chibi figures. But anyway, that novel sounds interesting! Sounds like you took some inspiration from Ike and Elincia, though, which is cool!

To me, this is the only clear answer. I loved it before I even knew much about FE, let alone Ike himself!

This would be nice, yeah! Oh man, I've desired a new Four Sword Zelda game for a long time. But given that Capcom kinda owned a lot of that stuff, I imagine it'd be difficult, unfortunately.

I actually didn't either for a long time until maybe a few years ago. Was really neat to find out about. Yeah, exactly! And speaking of that dialogue, I had actually fairly recently realized something about it when at the time, I happened to be thinking about one of my top favorite Disney movies. It's The Princess and the Frog. I realized...that Naveen says something VERY similar to Tiana towards the end of the movie. He tells her he wants to do all he can to make her dream come true. And you know what, they of course get together. And they had such a great dynamic too, being more or less an opposites-attract case where both learned a lot from the other about their very differing views on life. Tiana was the hard-working, no-nonsense type who didn't believe she'd have any time for fun stuff and didn't need those things. Naveen, on the other hand, was carefree, lazy, kind of a partier, and was even cut off by his parents because he didn't want to actually work. Naveen is so different from other true Disney princes in this manner. He is royalty, but he doesn't at all act like it. lol But after he and Tiana wind up having their crazy adventure together, they each learn valuable lessons from the other. Tiana shows Naveen the value of hard work and Naveen shows Tiana that it's okay to take a break and have fun once in awhile, that she didn't have to spend ALL her time working so much. Ike and Elincia got an equally dynamic connection in PoR. There are no other real parallels I can draw between the two pairs other than those lines about making a dream come true, but it's still amazing that that one little parallel came from the Disney couple whom I think was the deepest and best written of any of them. In fact, now that I mention this, I also recall saying once or twice that Ike and Elincia themselves would've made a good Disney prince and princess couple. XD But I also admit I'm just a huge Disney fan in general. lol

Well, I will admit I don't think it's one of the most likely things that will happen. Just that it's a possibility and that if it did happen, it'd be a big announcement because it's the first Zelda getting this treatment.

Yeah, and lots of other games take inspiration from other stuff too. Doesn't mean they're remakes of that stuff.

If it's all TMS, I can safely skip unless Touma is in it. As I said, he's the only character from the game that seems cool to me. Cain being his mirage is nice enough as well. TMS itself is definitely not my kind of thing, however.

Uh, no... It just happens to be very open world like the original was. It doesn't have the same dungeons or story or anything.

So, since we've gotten Mario 35th anniversary stuff, we can also talk about something else. Nintendo's second biggest franchise, Zelda, has its own 35th next year! I'm really looking forward to it since Zelda is my favorite series after FE. I hope it's much better than what Mario's gotten honestly. Mario mostly just got ports and the ports don't even include my actual favorite Mario game (besides Odyssey), Super Mario Galaxy 2. The new Mario Kart game is a creative idea, but I can't see myself playing it, at least not anytime soon at all. Zelda could do much better than just ports and all, especially since it hasn't been all that long since TWW and TP got HD versions. And in addition, OoT and MM got 3D remakes on the 3DS too. Here's what I'd do. - First, Skyward Sword HD. I'm not even just saying this because it happens to be my favorite Zelda either. Skyward Sword was the 25th anniversary game, with a reference to that milestone occurring right at the start of the game, even. So what better way to start things off than have this game celebrate the anniversary again? It's also the only pre-BotW 3D Zelda not to be remade so far and it's ten years old at this point. So it's celebrating both Zelda's 35th and its own 10th anniversary! - In a collection akin to what Mario got, I'd put OoT 3D and MM 3D in a Switch bundle as well as TP HD and TWW HD in a second Switch bundle. Or better yet, all four in one bundle, though I wonder if that'd even be possible. Whatever the case, all four ought to be in a collection, they're too popular and iconic. - Hyrule Warriors 2 is another idea! Featuring the champions from BotW and other new characters. - The biggest announcement, a full remake of the original Legend of Zelda using the art style the LA remake has. I'm not a fan of the art style at all, but I did enjoy the game and it would make sense given that the original LA kinda used a similar style to the original LoZ as well. - Big BotW 2 trailer that would also announce some DLC, possibly free, that celebrates the anniversary too. - Zelda content would be added to Animal Crossing like Mario content is. A Splatfest for Splatoon 2 can happen as well, however that would work. - Of course, we need merch too! This ought to include reruns of Zelda Amiibo, in particular the Skyward Sword Link one which would have use in Skyward Sword HD. I don't see any new Amiibo coming, since I'm not sure what new Amiibo could be added. And there are more possible things too! A classic collection including LoZ, Zelda II, and ALttP perhaps? A new addition to Four Sword Zelda? Maybe even a Zelda newcomer for Smash Ultimate! Zelda's 35th has a LOT of potential!

Yeah, it's a shame that this pairing ended up not actually meant to be a thing by IS (when you look at RD...). It seems the localization might have assumed they would be and were like "let's make them a bit more shippy!" Maybe in a remake though, IS will add the possibility in. They are popular to a degree, and definitely more so than Geoffrey x Elincia as far as I've seen. Sure, Ike and Soren are well liked as well, but they've got an ending already, even if it's more ambiguous about whether it's platonic or romantic. I wouldn't mind an Ike x Elincia ending being ambiguous or platonic either. Even RD had one notable moment I'd consider kinda romantic though. Unfortunately, it requires Elincia falling in part 4 Endgame. She says "My noble Ike... All your plans..." Your noble Ike? Damn, Elincia. XD There's also apparently some cut text from the English version where they're talking and Ike pauses and says "Crimea has itself a fine ruler" though. Also neat, even if this one isn't really as out there as the line I just talked about.

Yeah, I kinda thought as much. I really hope I don't have to skip whatever the prompt is, I'm getting kind of tired of having to do that. xP

Yeah, and both 64 and Sunshine probably could use a few tweaks here and there in general too. I found 64 to be really hard, I didn't get far at all. And I quit Sunshine as well because I just had no idea what to do at all most of the time and I don't really like when games just throw you into and overworld and say have at it. I'm not saying I want my hand held or anything, but I'd like a few hints here and there. I can't just magically know what to do when I start playing. As for that DLC idea, maybe, even if it does sound kind of scummy. Maybe it was planned to be part of this, but Nintendo couldn't make it happen because of the pandemic causing problems? Who knows.

I suppose that's true. But I still think it's lazy and boring. They spiced up the graphics for Zelda, so why not for Mario too? It's not cool imo. However, that's really just a nitpick, I'm way more mad that SMG2 is not there at all. It's the only big 3D Mario game not being ported, in fact, since 3D World is coming as well. So unfair.

In this case it does. Because like I said, they called the Zelda remakes HD and they did get actual graphical updates. Why would they call this HD and not do the same? Both are from Nintendo, you know.

This. All those Mario games available on the Switch now and Galaxy 2, my favorite one besides Odyssey, isn't one of them. Absolute huge disappointment. I might have bought that 3D All-Stars collection despite the blatant lie that the graphics are HD if Galaxy 2 was there. Yes, I think the HD claim is a lie. The graphics look no different from before, unlike with the HD Zelda titles. Granted, there's not a huge difference with those Zelda games either, but there was still some improvement. Also, nothing here really interests me in general. The idea behind that Mario Kart game is nice, but I don't know where in my house I'd really play it, so... I sure hope Zelda's 35th next year is much better (SKYWARD SWORD HD PLEASE).

Well yeah, I never said Sylvain had to be perfect. He wasn't perfect already. He's just more imperfect than expected, I suppose.
