You know, I always thought that the relevance of Ludeveck and the confrontation between him and Elincia would be better if Ludeveck: - Was a woman. - Had been Ashnard's secret lover, or at least a fan of his meritochrastic ideals. - Acted as a double agent for Daein back in PoR, easing the infiltration of Daein forces into Crimea to attack the capital.
  2. You think you could rename Heather's tier 3 class to something different from Sothe's, like Trickster? It's to make him promoting via divine intervention rather than by standard means make a difference. I know it's possible because Heather's a different class than Sothe, and their stat differences are too major in thematic as to consider them the same class.
  3. Two or so weeks ago DLune uploaded the OP's info charts about stats of Part 3's units, so a good guess is that, map-wise, DLuna is making his way through the latter half of Part 3. He also uploaded info charts on weapons, and they're a pretty interesting read. Keep in mind when looking at tomes that the WTA bonuses and penalties have also been heeavily changed, specially between magic types, which receive different bonuses/penalties depending on which magic types clash in battle. There's no updated WTA chart on the OP though, so just take my word on this. The latest public demo release is still the same as almost a year ago, and includes up to chapter 1-6-1, but IIRC it predates the important changes to Anima magic range and Wind Edge becoming wind magic based. You can try it if you haven't yet, but it's far from where the hack is currently at, I imagine. PM if you have trouble patching it into your backup. Oh, and the current plan is, once Part 3 or enough of it and all the underlying mechanism changes have been done, switch to a one-map-at-a-time public release schedule for Part 4, each subsequent release backwards-compatible, to provide feedback.

  8. Dark tome's effect meant -5 damage INFLICTED AGAINST physical weapons not TAKEN FROM, right? Knives not included?
  9. I think Ranulf's got Reyson's growths. Ohhhhhhh, Runic Edge, eh? Seems like a good magekiller. Are ranged swords magic-based on melee too, or only at range, like I remember you saying Ragnell was?
  10. Come to think of it, could you cheat your patch if you used Fixed Mode, since weapons contribute a bit towards growths in it?
  11. Removing Yune's possesion also has the problem of, well, removing Yune's possesion. Her banter with Ike is totally worth Micahia's screentime. I guiess you could have Slothe literally slap some sense into Micahia at the post-battle cutscene after her firemage-wannabe fiasco.
  12. Oh, and in any case you should get documented about the extra story dialogue of ng+ In thejapanese version. Some of it was localised, but much of it apparently wasn't.

  14. Or amplificate her denial in Part 3 to the point where she even gets a bit unstable on her dialog, constantly reassururing herself that everything's gonna be fine once everyone else is on fire. Or, as some suggested, make her see those outside Daein as monsters. You could even remove some of her "goodnes" by making her, let's say, less non-racists against laguz, since not unlike Soren she's bound to hold a grudge. Regarding humor, yeah - her line in the desert temple is her best one in the game.
  15. You/we could even agree on certain people maining different units on the "test" playthrough this way, and compare notes after each map.
  16. So THAT's the surprise DLuna used to stop progregression at the end of the demo's content, huh. I never got to play the demo 'til the end (it crashed when loading 1-3 on my PAL Wii with Wiiflow; I might try GX Loader as someone else said they had no problems with it). I wonder if you can use a combination of Guard, Miracle and a lot of RNG luck to survive him. Also, since the Savior skill (no penalties from rescuing) is used as a different command from Rescue (similar to Smite vs shove, unless I remember wrong), does the NPC-controlled Fiona in 1-6-2 rescue the kid using Savior or Rescue?
  17. Oh? So rather than make the Great weapons more different sidegrades to the normal ones and keeping them tiered, you're making them untiered, special-purposed weapons different from each other? I like that.
  18. Oh, you think it is possible to change the damage multipliers of mastery skill? If so, that'd be awesome way down the line. In your classic version, for instance, instead of removing them you could set their damage multipliers to 1. That would also allow for Ike vs BK without Nihil, maybe. I take it though that all priests/bishops/archbishops are the same class, and simply have very, very different growths, right? A druid in 1-P? I'm not complaining, but I do wonder what's doing in there. Is he feeding those adorable doves at the southeast?
  19. Really? I tested it on a PAL Wii, and it would always freeze when trying to load 1-2 (the one where Sothe appears). Which loader did you use?
