Yeah in my basic approach the ないものねだり could be for himself and how he can't be even more empathetic. But Clive does value composure a lot so perhaps there is an implication about him missing a point here. I guess unless someone else can chip in we'll just have 8-4's version to look forward to.

I might be simplifying it too much but it seems to me Lukas is just worried he's too composed. The "lose sight of myself" contrasts with the previous sentence so he's basically saying. "it's not like I don't care about anything but I can't care too much either i.e can't fully put myself into someone else's shoes." And then he says he feels he must give that part of his character some thought. Also, memory 3 should be here

Yeah, they seem to have some of the same speech quirks and Kyza was described as an okama in the artbook. I'm not familiar enough with japan to say how derogatory that is but I don't believe there was anything inherently offensive about him so I don't know why some people like to repeat this. Fire emblem has always featured various characters and relationship and it's not like there always has to be a deeper meaning about it. They pander to people and they are happy about it. That's it. As for why it got erased honestly I assume that those were different times and localizers just wanted to avoid people using a kind of gag character to make statements and get offended.

Aren't you taking this a little too seriously? Veronica is after all a stranger forcibly summoning and making heroes fight so Clair's reaction isn't that far-fetched. Personally I prefer it to other heroes just taking it in stride but to each their own. As for SoV she has the usual noble lady speech but overall she's pretty nice.
