Eh, it was kind of ambiguous before about whether or not we'd get all the same characters on both versions. It was likely, but the things that were being said, plus the fact that the website doesn't have 3DS images for some characters, made some people question whether both versions would get all the characters. This makes it concrete.

Those 2 different central times zones are more frequently referred to as "Central" and "Mountain", but do what ya do.

If the rumored fairy-type is real. We'll just have to wait and see if it gets confirmed or not. I think there's a good possibility it will, but at this point it's still just speculation.

Sylphs are also nymph/fairy-like creatures, so I think the connection is there. If it was based off of the word sylvan, I think it would have a much closer tie to being Grass type, which we've already got. That's why I think Sylveon coming from the word Sylph is more likely than from Sylvan.

Not necessarily. I really only think Mantine and Mantyke look like that because they are based off manta rays, and thats how a manta ray looks. Like they're gliding. I do think a new type is a strong possibility, but if it turns out that there is not going to be a new type I think flying is the most likely. Sylveon's name comes from the word Sylph, air spirits. Air spirits=flying type to me. Plus I just think the bows/ribbons look like a kite tail to a large degree.

It looks like it could be a kite, which would be flying related. I'd be excited for it to be a new type, but if it isn't a new type then my money is on it being flying type.

In-game Ice is always fine, just like almsot every type (grass probably always has the hardest time, with the seeming plethora of poison types the evil team always seems to be packing). It's really only the competitive scene where Ice has problems, being a horrible defensive typing.

I'm also thinking it'll be a flying type. It looks very kite-like.
