  1. Probably not the future kids but definitely either a band of mercenary fighting against Risen or the Ylisse Army under Lucina in a similiar way that Frederick or Robin holds command.
  2. Einherjars are slightly harder to make in this game compared to the last game, the biggest reason being that the Avatar has dragon-like features and isn't completely human. While Robin has dragon blood from Grima, he/she doesn't have dragon-like feature making it simpler to use his wide avatar-creations as Einherjars, representing old characters. If they really want Einherjars, they are going to have to put an extra effort to actually create unique models for them but that would be time consuming, would cost a lot more money and take up space. If they actually do it, then I would give them a lot of props for doing so.
  3. Well not exactly "asshole vs asshole" and more of having them be morally ambiguous.
  4. For someone who had joined this series since Awakening, I do felt like the games should mesh them together with some of the old FE elements instead of a straight-up reverting back into the old formula. Anyway here is my list. - Good and interesting main Lord that starts out having uterior motives but would learn to grow and fight for peace. - Marriage/Support should be revamped better....I don't know what kind but it should be revamped, I don't really want it to be gone but it needs to change. (Also more LGBT characters to make people happy) - Less one-note baddies and more morally-ambigious character for our main hero to fight. - A final boss that isn't a rawr-rawr evil dragon - Character Development between everyone. (Either in supports or special events) - A good difficulty settings for both Old-time fans and fans that have recently join. - Branching paths that could lead to different sets of rewards for certain consequences. - Balance the characters so that almost everyone has a use on the battlefield depending on your style. - New Game+ for replay values. (I am ok if the game starts out, giving me an expected way to play but having New Game + would have speed things if I just want to play it again without too much difficulty) - Revamp some classes so that none of them are overpowered or useless, make sure that they all have a purpose. - Old weapons that could return should return. - A Three-way battle map or maps that could make use of certain strategems. (For example, in a forest map; you can use choose to burn the forest down in order to do damage to your enemy but because of your own units getting in the crossfire) - Unless there is mutiplayer, class-swaping is tolerable. - Either make the children revalent to the story (Like getting all of them along with getting their supports high enough for a Golden Ending) or remove them. - Make My Unit a new game+ thing or make him more interesting but shove him far back from the plot to avoid stealing the main spotlight from the main Lord. - Either make DLC some pointless fanservice that doesn't cost that much or give DLC some good content which would make it worth buying. I don't want IntySys to revert back into it's old route especially after Awakening just revive them from despair. I want them to find a perfect balance so that people who enjoy Awakening won't be turn off by the old style and old fans could find them fun and enjoyable again.
  5. Well as far as I heard, PVP is currently being dominated by Generals and Power-hitting classes. I think this set is pretty decent for a playthrough but you might need to trend carefully when it comes to PVP.
  6. Here we go~! The offical polls are here, who is going to be part of the scambles and maybe get an expy next game. (I'm kidding please don't kill me) Well, My votes are casted for Lazward(Inigo) for being a much better character here compare to Awakening, even though I didn't mind him there. I thought that he really had some great supports this time around and grew a lot as a character. My girl's vote goes to Azura (Yes..I'm boring, shoot me) for her involvement in the story as well as being a kind yet aloof ally.
  7. This is my major problem with Kamui, and I think Great Geargia sums it up pretty well especially with Fates. Now I present a much more simpler but lazy option in which that maybe you don't have to change the entire story path based on your choices because it could be too much work but just some simple Pokemon Mystery Dungeon dialogue option could have been fine. Characters react to your dialogue choice and comment on it, but it doesn't affect the entire story, this become extermely fun especially in supports where you can have the characters remember what you said and comment on it, giving more incentive to try other branch options, it lazy but I would accept just that. If they want to make it a full-on personality test, then include options that impact those choices. For example, If I am an outgoing character; I might not be able to support with someone like Benoit because he is quiet but I am able to support with Lazward because we are compatible. Another option is that, we can limit our supports as we pick who we want to be friends with. For example I am only able to have a total of 5 units (Aside from your children) that I can support with including your S rank partner (Your love interest) and one A+ partner (Your best friend) as soon as I pick the last person to support with, everyone else is locked out. I also don't mind if people want Avatars to be an OP Mary Sue-like character, but leave that as new game+ option where you can just do whatever.
  8. Uh just asking....where is White Blood for Hoshido? Nohr - Hero - Maid/Butler - Paladin Hoshido - Trueblade - Basara - Golden-kite Warrior - White Blood (not in the poll but I would totally vote for it) Neutral - Singer - Grandmaster
  9. Is it true that the A+ support don't have to be mutual? Example: Lazward A+ with Flannel for the Fighter class but Flannel can A+ Nishiki for the Spellcaster class without obtaining the mercenary class.
  10. Considering that this topic isn't exactly about optimizing and just trying to create the most broken unit possible. Does this mean we can ignore the boundarys of a player unit? Just stretching the wording. [spoiler=Final Boss Spoilers]Well let go with the most resilient yet can damage the most. (I went with Dark Lord instead of the Invisible Dragon because his Bolverk Axe alongside Aurgelmir can damage more) Garon: Dark Lord HP:80 Strength:40 Magic:40 Skill:40 Speed;40 Luck:40 Defense:40 Resistance:40 Personal Skill: Dragonskin Skill 1. Divine Shield 2. Status Immunity 3. Draconic Curse 4. Renewal/Pavise/Aegis 5. Aegis/Pavise Loadout 1. Aurgelmir 2. Bolverk 3. Elixir 4. Rainbow Elixir Well aside from that, I am trying to make the most damaging strength Kanna so far (Without the Rally skills) Here is what I am thinking so far with the Str+ Mag- Kamui. I was checking some maxed stats, and I decided to go with Charlotte instead of Effie since she gives an extra 1+speed, 1+skill, and 1+luck. Charlotte!Velour!Kanna Class: Berserker Max Stats Str: 51 <--- Limit Breaker Level right here Mag: 23 Skill: 33 Spd: 34 Luck: 26 Def: 30 Res: 22 Skills 1. Axefaire 2. Aggressor 3. Line of Death 4. Strength +2/Strength Drain 5. Odd Fang/Steel Blade Loadout 1. Aurgelmir 2. Brave Axe 3. Tomahawk 4. Rainbow Elixir 5. Battle Emblem
  11. I always thought that forging in this game is very excessive to match the fact that the weapons can't be broken. I believe you need about 128 of the same weapon to reach the max level which is crazy enough, I would either reduce the amount of weapons needed to forge to the max level but making it weaker or make it so that forging weapons can't be used in PVP(where it just reverts back into it's normal form) Other things are usually just misc. options for units and weapons. For example, being able to customize the classes with colors instead of having the fixed generic blue. Customizing Yato where you can switch to all of it's different form as well as changing the color of it's aura. Switching Robin's gender when you add his amiibo. The list goes on for this one. [spoiler=Story-related]Considering that this game is about choice between which family, why not give Kamui two dialogue choice in certain story scenes and support that changes the character's response to it but doesn't affect the story overall. For example if Kamui joins Hoshido in Chapter 6, Marx will give a speech about loving Kamui like a real brother even though they are not related and pled for Kamui to return. Kamui is given two option to respond. The first option is the passive option, trying to reason with Marx into joining Hoshido to stop Garon which results in Marx calling Kamui a traitor and attacking him until Ryoma interferes. The second option is the emotional response in which Kamui attacks Marx in a fit of rage, accusing him of siding with Garon in killing Mikoto and lying about his heritage. The result is Ryoma apprending Kamui in order to get him to calm down, while Kamui is pulled away, he denounce his Nohr heritage in which Marx respond by calling him a traitor. The end result in the same, but the scene that plays them out is different and adds a lot to Kamui's personality especially when he is suppose to reflect us as an avatar character. I would change a few game mechanics but I haven't fully understood the game yet so I will refrain from talking about it. Also as a side note, having some connectivity with Awakening would be nice (Aside from the Awakening DLC)
  12. Sorry for the whole Robin fiasco. I am too bittered by the fact that the Grandmaster class is a male-only class even when it should be available for all. And sorry for throwing around the word "canon" too loosely since it a complicated subject matter. But going back to the topic, I am all for having the amiibo units as DLC but I am still unsure whether that will be a good idea for IS to market.
  13. The reason why I said that Awakening Avatar is male pretty much stems from the fact that default Male Robin is the face for the avatar of the awakening story. I will direct you over to a conversation about this in which a member once talked about how it lead to the idea that Male Robin is canon. http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=54974&p=3843330 My point is that while it is sad that Female Robin is unavaliable as an alternate option, the biggest problem with this is that the Grandmaster class obtained from the Invisible History DLC is only useable by male characters only. That would pretty sweet, even though we don't get their signature weapons. I would gladly take unique units over the weapons any day.
  14. Sadly, I doubt they would release the amiibo units for the DLC for reasons. 1. It would be an insult for those who actually brought the amiibos(especially due to the rarity of them), unless the DLC is as pricey as the amiibo itself it is not going to fly. 2. I think they would gain more money by keeping it like this. (You know..if they have the power to add the Roy amiibo as the unit, can't they add Female Robin or at the very least, have the Grandmaster be unisex. I understood that Male Robin is canon, but really...I do hope they fix this.) Edited: The card based amiibo is actually kinda genius, I don't know if they will make it for this game in time...
  15. Well this isn't the offical nintendo poll yet. But I think it gave us an idea for the future polls and the possible results that will turn up. But totally, DLC would be really nice. Formal DLC sounds really amazing. I wonder if they will seperate the DLC like they did with Awakening where they had two DLCs, one for the parents and one for the kids. Maybe this one will be one for Hoshido and one fo Nohr. (Or they can keep the parent/child format) But yeah, I am really excited for the future of this game.
  16. From what I seen in gameplay, it is one of the better swords in the game that you really don't have to forge too much. Your critical hits would deal 4x damage which is really nice in the hands of a strong unit. If you want to see what it looks like then I think in the Invisible History DLC, Inigo comes with it equipped.
  17. From the gameplay I seen, Killing Edge sword have been changed from being a katana into somesort of a jagged machete.
  18. I understood that amiibo units can use the Dread Scroll and the Dark Falcon Wing, but can the amiibo use the Hero-King Emblem or the Fell Dragon Emblem to reclass into Lodestar or Grandmaster?
  19. Oh okay....Here I thought that there was a limit to getting the skills which is why they want us to be able to buy skills from other players. So the secondary class choice we have is more to affect your spouse's marriage class and Kanna's secondary class. Well thank you very much for clarifying this, it changes a lot when the information that you can pretty much reclass into any class (That you can A support with) with the buddy seal. Sorry I don't have the game yet...I am just preparing for the game by learning information about it.
  20. Eh? Really? I thought that everyone including the avatar can only use the Buddy Seal once which is why there is a limit on how many classes the avatar has. (Your Nohr Prince class, your secondary class, your marriage class and your buddy class) Is it really unlimited?
  21. I have a question, can the amiibo use the DLC emblems (Exalted Emblem,Hero-King Emblem, and the Fell-Blood Emblem) or are those not useable for the amiibos?
  22. A Bond unit section? This means that we can have more than one? Time to start buliding armies of Kamui now. As for appearance, from the image that Sapphire show us; The child unit could possibly inherit the body type and the hairstyle of the unit that you bonded with but also inherit your hair color. Or it could be random like everything else.
  23. This setup will work perfectly for people that have 2 3DS. But even then, The personal skill is random so RNG can pretty much screw you over or help you. One thing I am curious is how does the stats works. Is it pretty much adding the MU stats together or is it random?
