  1. I ship Chrom and M!Robin, and I think it would be fun to have them get co-pregnant together. I also ship Ishtar and Reinhardt together, and I think Reinhardt will make a good prego dad. He is going to give birth to a cute little Pichu. I also want Surtr to get pregnant, but instead of a baby, it will be Edelgard: Hegemon Husk and Formortiis already fully grown in full armor/scales. I want Surtr's pregnancy to be as painful as possible. And when the pregnancy comes to term, Edelgard: Hegemon Husk and Formortiis are going to burst out of his body like Xenomorphs in Aliens. Yeah, I am a little bored. It is my day off, and I need to let out my creative juices.
  2. Pft! Obviously, Edelgard is the best leader. She will seize and conquer by force. No votes are necessary.
  3. Since we are on a Fire Emblem forum, I think it is safe to assume Fire Emblem is one of our favorite brands. On the other hand, there is a saying that no one hates Fire Emblem more than Fire Emblem fans, so maybe not. Other than Fire Emblem, are there any brand or company that speak to you or that you just cannot live without? As for why I thought of this topic, I was arguing with another person on a D&D forum, and I started wondering if I am a Wizards fanboy. I do not think I am; I do not like Wizards more, I just like Wizards' competitors less than before. I love Advance Wars. I still do after she got axed and died for a whole console generation. Bring her back already! As much as I love Fire Emblem, she is just a side piece compared to Advance Wars. Fire Emblem may have Advance Wars beat on having more horny dog waifus, but Advance Wars got Fire Emblem owned on the big boy gameplay. You know what is better than MAGIC IS EVERYTHING? It is the POWER OF MONEY! For dry food for my fur babies, I only buy Blue Buffalo; it has the highest protein content out of all the dry food brands I can find. For canned food though, I usually go with Friskies cause it is cheap, but I do buy Blue Buffalo as well, and occaisionally other higher end brands to switch things up. For treats though, I am not particularly brand loyal since my babes are not supposed to eat a lot of them anyways, and I get whatever looks fun and interesting. Coffee Coke is the fucking shit, but they got discontinued. I was literally drinking it every morning at work for a while. It is the only coffee I will ever love. Starbucks and Dutch Bros will never be as good as Coffee Coke. Ice Breakers Cool Blasts are the bomb, but they also got discontinued. It is SPICY, but like COLD SPICY, so instead of feeling heat, you feel the chill. I could not stop eating them. I loved LEGO. A lot. You ever seen an Apple fanboy? I was one of those, but simping for LEGO instead. They made a business decision quite a while back that I did not agree with, so my view of them took a really sharp nose dive. I still like them a lot and I think they are a great company, but I cannot say I love them anymore and I have not bought anything from them for a long time. Although I do not love LEGO as much I used to, I am still kind of snobby in regards to that hobby. I turn my nose up at competitors like Mega Bloks and Kre-O, and I absolutely despise and am disgusted by CoCo, Lepin, and Sluban.
  4. Oooh! Edelgard! I hope she gets Galeforce on her Weapon so she can double Galeforce like most others. The offensive half Null Follow-Up and Tempo would be great, along with Special charge +1. If she gets more mobility, that would be even more amazing.
  5. I keep seeing all these memes about Seiðr making a baby with Kiran on Reddit, so I just read the story on the wiki and I am laughing. I think most Kirans are disappointed that they are not making babies with Seiðr the mortal way. Fjorm got some serious competition now. I think Seiðr out lewds Plumeria, which should not be too surprising since they are sort of family. Seiðr is cousins with Freyja, so that makes Plumeria a step-niece (or whatever it is called) to Seiðr I think.
  6. Is Camilla: Midnight Bloom that strong? I figure most melee wallbreakers should have no issue killing her, even if they have to eat her Meister attacks first, since the more modern and later ones got damage reduction and access to Surges for healing back up.
  7. Even with two more effects, it does not feel like she is that much more powerful. Although I guess guaranteed follow-up on top of decent Spd and Null Follow-Up is kind of redundant, and Tempo just ensures she gets her guaranteed default Moonbow, or Ruptured Sky if you want to upgrade.
  8. Bernadetta: Late Hibernator got Slaying, area-of-effect recoil damage, damage reduction, offensive half of Null Follow-Up, and offensive half of Tempo. With how stacked units are these days with effects, she feels more like a Sweeper that can safely chip away at buliy tanks than a wall breaker. Escape Route 4 is cool, but I think Desperation or Sweep is better. Triandra: Sunlit Nightmare is pretty nice. She gives Penalty Doubler to target and allies, and inflicts stat debuffs, Guard, and Panic on foes. Firestorm Dance is really good, giving Desperation and Canto on top of buffs. Karla: Spring Reveries got Odd Pulse Wave, true damage on Special triggers, percentage damage reduction nullification, and defensive Special nullification. Harmonized skill is Pulse. She definitely feels more like a wall breaker, but other than that, she is feels pretty tame compared to Nanna: Beloved Princess in my opinion.
  9. I can see Michalis this year. I am assuming he might not get an exclusive Weapon this year, since it seems like exclusive Weapons skip a year. Catria: Spring Whitewing got Huginn's Egg. Palla: Eldest Bun-Bun got Pegasus Carrot+. Est: Springtime Flier got Eagle's Egg. Minerva: Verdant Dragoon got Spring Lance+. Maria: Sunny Smile got Pastel Poleaxe. It would be nice and pretty cool if they can do Iote next year though. Neutralize all effective damage would be nice, and giving that as a status effect to allies would be cool. Maybe turn him into a flying Far Save unit that can protect allies within three spaces.
  10. My personal favorites would be Dancers/Singers: Olivia, Silvia, Tethys, and Reyson. For staff units, Wrys got a pretty high HP and Res for stat comparisons, especially after factoring in Flowers. If you do not want to use Flowers, Emmeryn got the highest HP and Dwyer got the highest Res. Forrest is not bad either if you need a bit more mobility. Merlinus's crappy Atk and balanced bulk is good for training allies in Special Training Maps, since he can chip units after combat without actually dealing any damage in combat. Wrys and Azama can do this too, but you need to fix their lopsided bulk. Mordecai is good for Smiting even without his Refine. There is Chrom if you need a Reciprocal Aid/Ardent Sacrifice healer. Soren got Chill Atk. Not unique, but Phila got Rein Lance and Miriel got Blárlion. If you do not mind a bit of Refines, Corrin: Fateful Prince provides stat boosts if you have not built him yet. There is also the rest in the following, but you are scraping the bottom of the barrel for a lot of them in my opinion:
  11. That is true. I should have specified no Black Luna as well. He is the only easy to get armor unit in Path of Radiance though, so if a player wants to abuse Save tank strategies without spending too much Orbs on merges for Limited Hero Battles, he was the only option. There is also Ludveck for Limited Hero Battles, but he is technically from a different game, so it might matter in the off chance they decide to split the Tellius games up for that mode. There is also Hardy Fighter as another option, but follow-up denial from Arcane Éljúðnir and defensive half of Null Follow-Up is a bit overlapping too.
  12. If you are using Arcane Éljúđnir, both are not great in my opinion due to effect duplication, and I would wait and see what other tier 4 Fighter skills have to offer once they get released. If you are using Special Fighter, you will have two Guard effects. If you are using Savvy Fighter, there is technically no effect duplication, but combining Null Follow-Up and Omnibreaker is not necessary on a fast unit in my opinion. If it were a slow unit, then having both Null Follow-Up with Omnibreaker is fine. If you must build him right now with one of those two skills, I lean more towards Special Fighter since it will still do something against nukes that manage to out Spd him (charge+1, healing), whereas Savvy Fighter does not do anything. Against slow pokes, Savvy Fighter gives damage reduction. If you are sticking with Alondite, then either is fine. And if Vantage Sacred Seal is released, you may also want to consider running Special Spiral as it compliments Black Luna really well.
  13. Holy Laguz pie Naga damn! Elincia: Devoted Queen is cool and all, but honestly, Lucia is the real freaking star of the show here. Queensblade is sexy as fuck! (There is an ecchi anime called Queen's Blade.) Lucia got like freaking Null-everything on her Weapon. Lucia is the dawn of a new era for super tanks. No, scratch that, LUCIA IS THE SUPER TANK!!! At least for the foreseeable future. Her only Special that really works is Galeforce, which might not seem relevant at first, but you can have her hit the enemy line to inflict Smoke, and then Galeforce back to safety. As for her supports, gone are Lucina: Brave Princess, Flayn, and the like; you want supporters who can pump Lucia up with loads of status effects. Queensblade Galeforce — Vital Astra — Godlike Reflexes (Any Assist) — Reposition Distant Dart Repel Spd Smoke — Panic Smoke Bonus Doubler — Atk/Spd Ideal (whenever the Sacred Seal gets released) Relevant status effects and supports: — — — — — — — I KNOW, RIGHT!!!??? AAAHHH!!! I AM EXCITED AND I DO NOT EVEN PLAY THE GAME ANYMORE!!! Also Galeforce, but that is after combat. I think Vital Astra is better than Godlike Reflexes in this edge case, since Vital Astra now becomes a defensive skill whereas Godlike Reflexes becomes an offensive skill. Lethality, Deadeye, Special Spiral, and Innes: Frelian Moonlight can no longer bypass Lucia's damage reduction. And with four stacks of damage reduction (Queensblade, Vital Astra, Repel, Dodge status effect), Líf: Undying Ties Duo, Múspell: Raging Inferno, and Soren: Hushed Voice are not going to double Lucia, and she still gets 56% damage reduction (0.85*0.85*0.75*0.8=0.4335). Linde: Bound by Fate is the only other one who can reduce the effectiveness of that damage reduction, but as a fast unit herself, she can just contest Spd and negate the damage reduction altogether. In Aether Raids, no unit on the defense team can realistically double Lucia, assuming Lucia has a bunch of Spd Mythics backing her up, so the only real danger she will face is in Summoner Duels.
  14. Would not tier lists for specific modes still be helpful for the casual player, especially Aether Raids and Summoner Duels? I guess a more tailored list that focus on a few dozen unique units work too, but I imagine players who are more casual or new will wonder how their unit that is not on the list fair compared to the top unique ones. As for updating every unit thing, could not they build something to automate that process?
  15. Oh damn! I have not commented on Foci in a while, but a DAMAGE SPECIAL for staff units! And A/S Far Save is in! I think we have all the major Save skills now.
  16. In no particular order, my top favorite characters waifus so far would be: Edelgard, Plumeria, Anna, Lucina, F!Robin, Camilla, Loki, F!Byleth, Laevatein, and... Gullvieg! I can definitely see why Gullvieg took top female spot in Choose Your Legends, as she is mysterious and a bit seductive in the opening movie, and she seems like the most powerful divinity in existence so far. Edelgard is an asshole, but also a badass; I find her air of authority very charismatic, and I can relate to her backstory and pain. Lucina is like Edelgard, but without the asshole vibe. I love Anna's entrepreneurial spirit. F!Robin and F!Byleth are both really good at connecting with their peers, and they are pretty busted as units. Laevatein is precious and cute and hot. I do not think I need to explain Plumeria, Camilla, and Loki, ha! Including non-waifus: Elise, Heiðr, Reinhardt, M!Robin. Elise is the most adorable little sister. Similarly Heiðr is a bit cute and naive, and I find her appearing in Kiran's dream/vision/subconscious and getting lost a bit cheesy and funny, but in a good way. Despite being a goddess, she gives me a cute kouhai vibe, and I want to protect her. Reinhardt and M!Robin are just plain badass husbandos, and I wish I was as smooth as M!Robin in his S supports. As for units, my favorites would be Dancers/Singers, all of them. Out of all Dancers/Singers that I have used, my favorite would be Azura: Vallite Songstress. Ninian: Ice Dragon Oracle is super busted, so she might be my favorite if I did not quit right before her release. My second favorite would be pseudo-Dancers/Singers, for obvious reasons. My third favorites would be Flayn and Elimine, and to a lesser extent to the Nifls, since they are the support units that really took Save tanks to the next level. Reinhardt and Cordelia: Perfect Bride were my favorite nukes for quite a while early on: Reinhardt was just busted, and Cordelia: Perfect Bride with Firesweep Bow can handle anything Reinhardt could not handle. Ike: Brave Mercenary and Lucina: Brave Princess were a great combo in Aether Raids. I also really like Edelgard: Adrestian Emperor since she was the first non-bow armor (bow armors were the only armors I did not mind using in the beginning since they can use Firesweep Bow and Armored Boots combo to maintain mobility) that I like using. I like all double Galeforce Edelgards, as they are just plain fun. Speaking of Galeforcers, I also really like Leif: Destined Scions-Dorothea: Twilit Harmony and Corrin: Nightfall Ninja Act-Azura: Hatari Duet combos. I also really like using Lucina: Future Fondness and Hector: Brave Warrior as Save tanks.
  17. Bella chose Jacob. In 365 Days, I wish Massimo is less of a douche and has more tact and care like Nacho, and Laura chose Massimo. In Star Wars, Rose does not exist and Finn and Poe are together. In Avatar, the blue alien people lost. In Game of Thrones, the Battle of Winterfell was not stupid. Surtr from Heroes gets assaulted, crucified, and immolated. He must suffer absolute humiliation and exteme physical and psychological pain.
  18. I like to use "grown ass man" as an insult, like, "That grown ass man does not even know what his own car is." or "You a grown ass man with arms and legs and a head on your shoulder, and you asking me for dough?" or "Grown ass men should not have so little masculinity that they are afraid of buying tampons for their partner." and stuff along those lines. I found "sir" to be kind of hot. And since I am getting older, I have found "daddy" to be kind of cute too, even though I am not a real dad, unless you count my three fur babies.
  19. For me, while the decorations are sort of part of the appeal, it is not the main thing, and the decorations are just a side effect. What feels magical and special about the holiday season is the atmosphere and cheer, and I feel the happiest spending that time with my friends. Except last year that just passed, when I do not feel magical or special at all for the first time, and I am just kind of down and lonely. There were happy moments when I am with friends, but I felt sad overall. But normally, around this time of year, I am usually pretty happy.
  20. If you are on Android, you can check your purchase history. When I checked mine about a year or two ago, it really put things into perspective. Haha!
  21. Happy New Year! At least for people on the East Coast anyways. I still have a little more than two hours before New Year hits me and my timezone in California. I do not have any New Year's resolution. I am just continuing to work out, trying to earn and save more money, and making new friends. My arms are getting bigger and harder, so that is good! Been working out three times a week on most weeks (I slacked off on a few weeks due to holidays or sickness). I have quit Heroes so I am saving more money now. I have also been making friends at work. Happy New Year! And be safe!
  22. Ranged units with modern Weapons do not need the latest skills to be powerful. Being ranged in itself is already a massive advantage over melee units. For ranged units without modern Weapons, they do struggle in being useful, but so do melee units without modern Weapons, although both will be fine once there are enough Arcane Weapons for all Weapon types. For Setsuna, her Atk is low enough that I do not think her exclusive Weapon nor Whitecap Bow is going to do much for her if you want her to take down slow bulky tanks. I think Ninja Yumi is her best option since she can utilize true damage to bypass Def. With Ninja Yumi, Flashing Blade/Finish, Sweep, and Null Follow-Up, she can deal 36 true damage per round of combat against slow tanks, and you can run Fatal Smoke to shut down most healing. If you are not in a rush to use her, I agree that waiting for Arcane Bow is best, since you can then better compare all her options. For bow fliers and cavalry without modern Weapons, their options are more limited. They still have access to the old build of Firesweep Bow with double Poison Strike to safely chip all types of tanks, although they might not be able to finish off bulky tanks if their Atk is too low. They can also utilize true damage with Ninja Yumi with Sweep, but it is not as effective since they lack access to good true damage on A (Heavy Blade is not reliable enough), so they will have to run a stat boosting A skill and stick with Poison Strike Sacred Seal. For magic and dagger infantry, tank busting is quite a bit more difficult without Weapons with true damage and Brave. Mages can use Blade tomes to help deal with high Res, but some bulky tanks can nullify bonuses, so they will still only deal like 10 damage from two hits via Flashing Blade/Finish. Dagger infantry can run Vicious Dagger, so they will be running Flashing Blade or Poison Strike on Sacred Seal. For mage and dagger fliers and cavalry, I would not recommend using them to bust tanks.
  23. Shez: Sharpest Blades got a Meister dagger with Flashing Blade. Her A gives her effectiveness against Beorc infantry units if her Spd is 20 or more over them; she gets effectiveness over everyone else if her Spd is 5 or more over them. She is better off with Slaying and Tempo in her Weapon though if they really want her to take down tanks more effectively.
  24. I still feel muscle pain this morning. Bad news is that it hurts just as bad as yesterday. Good news is that it did not get worse, so hopefully it is starting to turn around. When I was a kid, I enjoyed P.E. classes in the cold mornings. I do not sweat as much in the cold.
  25. Hm... I guess +Spd is okay since there a lot more Heroes in Resonant Battles compared to other PvE modes where you are mostly just fighting generic units, and there is a bit of extra stat inflation in Resonant Battles too. I still do not think +Spd is super necessary since you can often avoid the guards, or at least get enough items and buffs that makes dispatching them easier. For those who keep Maria: Sunny Smile as a player phase unit, she has Flow Guard that works off of Def comparison for dealing extra damage and damage reduction. Myrrh: Spooky Monster has an alternate HP condition to trigger her guarantee follow-up attack, but I think players would still like to maximize her Def too to make to make the guarantee follow-up attack more likely to go through. Kyza: Tiger of Fortune uses Def comparison for Special charge increase and true damage. Keaton: Resolved Wolf uses Def comparison for true damage. I do not remember facing him often though. Myrrh is pretty old, but she uses Def comparison to deny follow-ups. And slow tanks and dual phase units in general want to stack their Def as high as possible. Hm... What about using the goddess of reflexes herself, Lyn: Blazing Whirlwind? Even if she loses Verdict of Sacae and runs Distant Counter, I think she still has an edge when it comes to Spd. I lean towards +HP or +Res. I do not think +Spd is necessary since any foe that is left that she needs to tank probably is not super fast anyways, especially in Aether Raids offense where you can stack more Mythic stats than defense can. When I was playing, I generally spend Fruits on certain nukes that I plan to keep at +0 (or at least one copy of them). I like the -HP to easily get them into Wings of Mercy range. I also spent a lot of them on a few Plumerias, Flayns, and Elimines to change them to +Res.
