Since the support system seems to follow the same formula as the GBA one, does it have the same limitations (five support convos per character)?

Do we think supports will be coming back? Don't get me wrong, I would love to see a lot of them (Genny/Saber, Clair/Tobin/Gray, Mae/Boey, etc) for the same reasons as a lot of you have listed, but I can't help but think of Shadow Dragon. Nimue's nice, another mythological figure. But that Murdock=Marduk change is...what?

Some of them sound like they're trying way too hard (how do you even pronounce Creidne?). But Erinys is really nice, and another neat ref to Greek mythology.

I just saw some of the Jugdral ones and...Luchar and Lucharba? What was wrong with Johan and Johalva? Nice to FINALLY get some confirmation on Edain, Tailtiu and Tine though.

I'm so happy with everything we got from this direct. I was totally not expecting a Gaiden remake, but I'm thrilled, it's the one game that's pretty much impossible to play anymore. The new artsyle looks so pretty! Fire Emblem Heroes looks a lot better than I was expecting too, especially for a mobile game. And another Fire Emblem next year on the Switch? Hell yes.

Dwyer, Hisame or Rhajat are the ones to skip, I'd say. Dwyer and Rhajat because their dads don't have a lot of good support options + they have some handicaps (Dwyer's Personal is practically useless, Rhajat's Skill is atrocious), Hisame because he's...rather boring.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Mikoto raise the barrier in response to the kidnapping, not before? Because there would have been an all-out war otherwise.

He does say that, but take a closer look--he says he kidnapped Corrin to get to Mikoto. Not Sumeragi. That implies some knowledge of her history in Valla, which means his beef with her is over that, not Hoshido. And I don't think the real Garon would have that sort of vendetta. There's just no reason for it. Gooron, however, would. Which is why I also subscribe to the theory that Garon helped conceive Elise, died and was replaced while her mom was still pregnant with her. It's not said, but given the incredibly convenient timing and what we know about Anankos's goals for Corrin, he was probably assassinated.
