    I understand the need for an "accurate" review, but it honestly saddens me how few people on this thread think Fates deserves its amazing ratings. Maybe the story has flaws, but there's always the chance that the localization improved on the dialogue in a way that enhances the story overall. Even if the story isn't great, that doesn't mean Fates doesn't deserve a high rating. There are tons of high-rated games out there each with discernible issues, but the other elements are so good they outshine everything else, and they give that game its good rating. No game is ever perfect.

    Felicia: Still awkward, but not the worst voice out there. Effie: Not a bad VA per se... just a terrible representation of her character. She sounds like the She-Hulk. Dwyer: SO fucking stoned Arthur: IS THE BEST OMG Saizou: I shrieked when he said "I'm ticklish" Asugi: He's so hyper now. Wtf happened to Gaius I give up on typing all of my reactions. Literally every voice makes me squeal. This is so hilarious/amazing.

    Nah, if you really wanna go for that pairing, do it! I am by no means an expert on this kind of stuff. Do what your heart or the growths calculations tells you!

    Looks good; I like your reasoning! Maybe switch Hana and Mozu though cause I think it works better battle-wise. Takumi gets some needed speed, Kaden gets extra Strength and Defense (if Mozu promotes to either Great Merchant or Weapon Master). No idea about their kids tho lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Huh. Yeah I just checked and she has a base 35 speed growth?? I kinda just assumed she'd be fast cause Kaze. That's so weird.

    Kaze x Setsuna seems a bit overkill on the speed, and they don't really benefit from each other's pair-up bonuses. The resulting Midori will have pretty shot Strength and Defense stats too.

    @Ennui I would actually recommend keeping Keaton x Selena because it works so well battle-wise (gives Keaton the speed boost he needs, and Selena some much needed strength and added bulk). Plus Velouria in general will still be good with most moms. Felicia!Midori I definitely don't recommend as even her Mag growth will only be 20%, not exactly a good basis for a magical unit. Nina can really make the most use of Felicia's (subpar) magic stat, so keep Felicia with Niles. Maybe switch Leo x Nyx and Niles x Felicia for better pair-up stats? Not sure how Nyx!Nina would turn out tho. I think your pairings are really good overall!

    Shigure gets Wyvern Rider b/c of this game's class inheritance rules. 1) He gets Sky Knight because that's his default class. 2) He gets Troubadour from Jakob. 3) Because Azura can't pass either Songstress, Sky Knight, or Troubadour (which is Songstress's class equivalent), she pass the class equivalent of her secondary Sky Knight, which is Wyvern Rider. In this game children always inherit a class from the father before from the mother.

    1. Xander=Camilla=Takumi 2. Leo 3. Sakura 4. Ryoma 5. Elise 6. Hinoka I used to rank Elise over Sakura always but now I'm getting a greater feel for both of their characters, and Sakura seems a lot more mature and has more depth. Really though, I love them all, except for maybe Hinoka? (Not a big fan of the fact the whole she only became a warrior b/c MU was taken away)

    Benoit is definitely better as a general. He basically NEEDS defensive formation with his shit speed. Effie can go either way from what I've heard, so you can make her into the Great Knight.

    Anybody know if lower-leveled units get more exp for killing higher-leveled enemies?

    Is the DLC Anna's Gift really limited to one time? Or is it once per playthrough?

    How is it possible to gain exp when leveling your units at >Lvl 50? Since exp gain is more balanced now, I thought you couldn't gain any exp if you were over 5 levels over the enemy or something.

    Since I'm playing Conquest first, will probably start from the decision in subsequent Conquest playthroughs, but will start from the beginning in Hoshido playthroughs. This way I can maximize the exp my Avatar gets experience-wise pre-Conquest (no exp for you, Kaze and Rinkah)

    Hey! So with us so close to the NA release (8 days!!!) (and sorry Europeans :'(), thought I'd make a poll about how unspoiled people have been able to remain towards the plot. I know that I personally, despite my best efforts ​which apparently are not good enough, have been almost completely spoiled. I'm expecting a lot of others to be in the same boat as I am, but I guess we'll see! The last four options are really only for if you actually cared about being spoiled, so please choose the second if you didn't actually care about it. Only doing this because 8 days is way too long and I need SOMETHING to occupy my time
