Ok so i'm doing a challenge where I can only use units that can turn into a mounted unit, Marth and Julian. (Cavalier, Pegasus Knight, Horseman, Wyvern Knight, and Paladin). anyone that cant turn into one of the following above has to die. Does anyone have any recommendations on who to use? this is easy mode, and I am on the chapter I get Hardin, Vyland, Wolf, etc.

I dont promote units until they reach level 20. I would hate to get rng screwed and not be able to make it up

so yeah, playing Gaiden and literally every time a level with even ONE gargoyle appears, my units INCLUDING ALM gets completely wrecked. they double Clea for gods sake. (pegasus knight) not to mention apparently they have more defence than a general as well as more resistance than a pegasus knight AS WELL AS dodging everything in the world. literally, none of my archers can even hit them. heck even Alm misses a few times. Does anyone else share the same issues when dealing with gargoyles? and does anyone have any strategies on beating a room full of them on Alms route? Grinding doesnt work, because i grinded for 3 hours with the exact same results.

I do whats called the "Tellius Challenge" basically the rules of Radiant Dawn applies. You can only use 2 class changes per unit (for example, make Robin a grandmaster, and then a paladin later) which means you can get to "level 60" You can not risen grind however. Sully can only use lances until she promotes Stahl can only use swords until he promotes Ricken can only use wind tomes until he promotes Miriel can only use fire tomes until she promotes Laurent can only use thunder tomes until he promotes Prepromotes can only be class changed once (only 1 second seal. No master seals aloud. This includes Frederick, Say'ri, Emmeryn, Yen'fay, Anna, Priam, Walhart, Aversa, and Gangrel) Donnel, Nowi, Nah, Panne, Tiki and Yarne (and potentially Morgan) need to be second sealed at level 20, if they surpass level 20 in their original class, that will be considered a master seal. classic mode required the only exception to the risen grinding is if you want a child unit but cant get the support in game.
