Definately depends. I actually prefer Radiance/Dawn's on map animations, but the lethality skill in Awakening is too cool to miss(that fast forward button doesn't hurt either). For GBA, I usually leave it on unless I've died 444 times and just want to speed through it.

Let us get some things out of the way to get rid of stupid answers that ought not be given. 1. "FEXP is unsupported and outdated, do a ROM hack." Yes. Fexp is oudated. But I'm not doing this for a serious project, I'm doing it for fun and personal gratification(and if I finish it I'll share maybe if it's any good). Plus that whole 16 colors limit of ROMs is killin' me smalls. 2. "Just wait, one day our lord Yeti will return with FEXNA and we will hack eternally." No I will not wait for FEXNA. It's been almost 3 years, and nobody is promised tommorow. In the time I'm spending waiting I could be working. I love the GBA druids (They look like owl wizards of terror) If I had any I hated... Mercenary's and Heroes. Those spinning jumps man. It was so silly. Brigands also but their crit made up for it(WAAAAAAAAAAAAGH) Sword throwing of Ragnell was disappointing... It HAD a ranged attack dammit. ANY of the Characters from Awakening's DLC. Those stupid looking recolors of MU... I mean, honestly I didnt mind the spotpass one. I get it. There is waaaay too many to make models for. BUT the ones I paid for? The ones you gave custom badass portraits!? Lyn, Roy, and etc got the shaft. And I'm still mad. t('n't)
