  1. Thanks for the replies! I must have skimmed right over the mention of the +5 bonus to adjacent love growth then. I think I might be fine by mostly keeping Erinys next to Claud then, might have an extra save to test it out just in case . I was considering pairing up Lachesis with Finn instead, but decided that partway through the play through and thus I did not plan it out well at all (and messed up somewhere when trying to do the jealousy glitch). But she is within 100 points of marrying Beowulf at least and I think Tailtyu is also within 100 with Azelle now.
  2. I understand from the section on this site that characters have a fixed initial love points with another unit and a set amount they gain each turn, but how much do they get from being beside each other each turn? also would someone be able to help explain the jealousy system? Does it work if trying it with a character that already has a lover? I’m doing a ranked run and messed up my pairings a bit so I need to pair up Erinys and Claud before the end of chapter 5. They currently have between 300-400 points. My remaining units that should be paired up soon are Tailtyu and Lachesis.
  3. Yeah, it unfortunately isn’t too useful, but can still be used for weapons like the Gradivus. Forgot to switch mine out and got down to 1 use. It’s how I discovered the glitch, but I learned in the next chapter that Hammerne doesn’t work on it... The final chapter wasn’t exactly very hard anyways though. For fun I gave Barst an infinite Devil Axe for the chapter though, only thing is I couldn’t get it to him right away due to not being able to change inventories before battle...
  4. I’ve been playing through FE1 on the Famicom Switch Online and came across a really cool bug by accident with the Aum staff. With this bug I was able to get just about any weapon with unlimited uses. Gradivus, Devil Axe, a second Falchion (not exactly useful though aside from healing), I was able to get any of them and with unlimited uses! So as for how I caused the glitch, I had forgotten that the Hammerne staff is locked to Lena and wanted to repair the Gradivus. I took the staff from convoy and gave it to Elice to use. However she cannot use it, but having the Aum staff in the inventory and no other usable staves causes the bug to happen. Since the Aum staff is only usable on one spot in Chapter 24, it normally can’t be used. But with the Hammerne and Aum staff, the ability to use Hammerne shows up when beside an ally, selecting it causes the game to glitch out a bit. When you check your inventory, the Aum staff will be replaced with a different weapon and you have two spaces empty, you will also have a silver sword. These will have 0 uses, but after combat the number will disappear and they will never break! With one open item slot, it appears that the top weapon will get a combined usage of all the items in inventory. I got a Mercurius with 85 uses for example. If the Aum staff isn’t at the top of the inventory then it can mess with how some things work a bit. I had tested this over a few days recently as I tried to figure out how this is caused and finally figured out how to get each weapon. One thing to note first though is that when you do the glitch, and you see the inventory, wait right there to keep the weapons, if you choose to move the game will glitch a bit and Elice will move to the far right side of the screen. You can wait or even go to the inventory and throw away the weapons, when you wait, Elice will disappear and the cursor will be bugged until you move it left and it resets to the right side of the screen 2-3 times. To select Elice again, you can select her from the unit selection or select the empty space where she started out that turn. (Not where she waited) By doing this, it will reverse the glitch and she will be back to normal with the Aum staff. If you press b when moving her during the glitch however, it can soft lock the game. Now onto the explanation for how to get (almost) any weapon! Horizontally, each tile represents a weapon. The first one, for example, is a silver sword. I believe this is why you always get a silver sword if the slot is open. From left to right the tiles are: Silver sword Iron sword Steel sword Armour Killer/Slayer Rapier Dragon Killer Killing Edge Mercurius Thunder sword Devil sword Falchion Lance Knight Killer Silver Lance Javelin Gradivus Bow Steel Bow Bow gun Silver Bow Parthia Quick Rain/Arrowspate Stonehedge/Hoist Fire Gun Thunderbolt Elephant/Pachyderm Axe Steel Axe Hammer Devil Axe So all you need are Elice with just the Aum and Hammerne staves and someone nearby to “use” the Hammerne. Wait on the numbered tile, vertical placement does not matter, and when the glitch is activated, wait in place or trade to the unit you are next to. You should have the Hammerne staff, a 0 use weapon for the tile and a 0 use silver sword! Once used in combat these will never break!
  5. Oh that looks fine thanks! I’ll just need the back cover then. Perhaps I could try my hand at it or just go with a Japanese version.
  6. I ordered an English rom that was put onto a DS cart and I’m wondering if there’s a mock-up someone has made for an English cover of the game. I purchased it for my cousin’s birthday next month and I want to put it in a DS case that he can store it with. I did do a bit of a search online, but only found a couple that were the front cover. I may resort to a Japanese cover if needed though.
  7. Oh, I haven't gone on here with my computer yet, but I think I see what you mean. I do think that part of the reason I don't really like it is just because it's new and I have to get used to everything. That is what I had done, but nothing happened. However it seems like it isn't necessarily a separate version of the site with mobile and desktop.
  8. Ah, I see. Ya there is also an option on safari, but this site keeps it on mobile for me as well. I think I probably could warm up to it eventually if I have to though.
  9. I've never really been a fan of mobile sites when on my phone so I've always used desktop versions when possible. Is there a way to go to the desktop version here? I've looked around a bit, but haven't seen anything about it. If there isn't one, could the option be added in the future perhaps?
  10. What if someone were to recruit one of those characters, but not use them in their own castle? I just recently recruited someone (and didn't notice their illegal skills (and class) at first. I haven't used a skill from them nor used their character in my castle though. I feel like I have gotten visitors still, but don't remember. I'll probably check soon though. Edit: Well I seem to be fine, probably going to kill them off though. Plus I don't even use them
  11. Does it still save? My files got erased on mine, but I think the cartridge had gotten damaged or something. It also won't save at all now (when you choose save it does the action, but still shows an empty file) Edit: never mind, on mine everything is lost including supports I feel like I have had a time where my save data got corrupted on other GBA games though. I think they worked fine again, but I may have had to start over again. Before starting a new file though, I would try removing the game card and putting it back in/turning the GBA on and off a few times to see if they are back. If not though then I think hey may be lost for good. Oh I just remembered that Sacred Stones save data had gotten erased once, but only on one file since my battery died right when I was saving...
  12. I think I've done that before where I suspend after moving my units so that when I comeback I can't really change anything for that turn, but usually I just do it at the start of a turn and mainly just if I don't have time to finish the chapter. I've also recently started a Lunatic playthrough of Conquest so I'm generally taking extra precaution when moving my units. Most of the time however, I think I do tend to finish a chapter I am playing on before I stop playing for the day.
  13. In Super Smash Bros. Mêlée, the crowd chant for Roy was (and is for 4 as well I'm pretty sure) "Roy's our boy" and so it just became popular I think.
  14. I recently finished my first playthrough of the game and I promoted everyone at level 20. Although for the most part, most units only got up to around level 13-15 I think. This does include some arena abuse as well and I did use several extra characters. However they were still certainly strong enough for the final chapters that they weren't much of a problem. I'm no expert on the FE series, but I think it is generally best to promote at level 20 to get the most stat boosts possible. Blazing Sword seemed to have more than enough chapters to get most units to level 20 I think and Sacred Stones also allows you to train outside of chapters.
  15. I just happened to come by this one in my second play through since I was busy for a moment and got back right when I got it haha. Some of these play records sound ridiculous though haha. I currently have 285 at the moment, since there are a few I could probably do, I may get them while I wait for the NA release.
