  1. Hearing that this game sold over a million was really good to hear. It's my first ever Warriors game and enjoyed many things it offered. I'm really hopeful for a 2019 sequel at this point, and I could finally play my favorite FE lord, Roy.
  2. The one thing I truly want in a future remake of Binding Blade is to focus solely on Roy like they focused on Alm and Celica. And I really mean, not including an avatar unit. They even mentioned this when remaking Fire Emblem Gaiden https://nintendoeverything.com/fire-emblem-echoes-devs-on-going-forward-with-the-remake-considered-adding-newer-elements-from-the-series/ Roy is his own tactician and as a leader, he's very gifted. This is proven as he studied tactics in Etruria and had them executed well as he progressed through the story.
  3. Agreed! Playing Fire Emblem: Binding Blade v1.0 just felt like a rather fresh experience, and I still have yet to continue. The text, dialogue, etc. are just an improvement over the previous one. It at least gives me hope that the future remake will follow in its footsteps.
  4. Olivia is the one I'm anticipating the most when the third pack comes, my favorite Awakening character. Plus reverse-grip swordplay is a bonus. Also, has someone tested the Strike Rate+ on Chrom's Training Sword? Is it a little faster than Astra or are they really the same speed?
  5. I'd hope it's not the last update, as they did mentioned they would do a Season 2 for requests after this. I hope they don't restrict it to Shadow Dragon, Awakening, and Fates though if they do.
  6. I'm very glad to see Roy's winning this poll in the leadership department. Out of all the Fire Emblem lords I'd follow into battle, my vote goes to Roy. After the time spent through Fire Emblem: Binding Blade (Version 1.0) in the past, I slowly realized how excellent he is at leadership and being thoughtful, supportive and I still admire him for his unique character today. Being his tactician just makes him stand out, and one would see this in both story and supports. Read Lilina and Cecilia's support on Roy and how he's making progress as a leader and his inability to learn magic in the past. Roy and Celicia's support on how Cecilia told him how wonderful a leader he's become and to remind him not to soften up. Remember, he received tactical training in the 2nd most powerful nation in Elibe with the help of Mage General Cecilia. And he's already proven to be more than capable of being a leader in battle and making the well thought-out decisions (Elffin for example). Eliwood was the greatest knight in Lycia, but he wasn't in any shape to lead an army due to being sick. He was grateful for Roy and placed his faith in his own son to lead the army to victory. If only Eliwood was there, he would get to witness his son's leadership abilities and there's no denying Eliwood would be very proud of Roy for that. Having to stop your studies to help your sick father lead the army is what family does for each other, and that's loyalty.
  7. I have a problem with using the Item Editor module on Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. I want to give certain weapons the unlimited usage and like make them unsellable. But when I use Nightmare and the Item Editor to click on any weapon under "Weapon Ability 1", there's no "Indestructible Weapon / Magic", no "Hero Indestructible Weapon / Magic, no "Unsellable Hero Indestructible Weapon / Magic", etc. It's all negative values but with just "Indestructible", "Weapon", "Magic", "Unsellable" listed. Giving a weapon or magic the option: "Indestructible" won't give it unlimited uses, but it makes it completely unusable. I don't have this problem with Fire Emblem: Binding Blade or Sacred Stones as the options "Indestructible Weapon / Magic", etc. are listed and work with no problem. But Blazing Sword, I don't know why this problem is occurring and has negative values on the drop list. Can somebody please help me on this issue?
  8. Okay, a friend led me here to this brand new translation patch of Fire Emblem: Genealogy. It's my first time coming across this news of a brand new Fire Emblem 4 English patch but in Beta phase. Looking forward to using the Beta, hope they're currently doing Fire Emblem 3 and Fire Emblem 5 with better ones. Especially 5 since that's like one of my favorites and needs a lot of work translating compared to 3 and 4.
  9. Hello, I am a new member here. And I became aware of this latest fan-translation patch, and I am eager in patching the Fire Emblem 6 ROM I have. I have downloaded the ISP patch for Fire Emblem 6, I have downloaded Lunar ISP to apply the patch into the Fire Emblem 6 ROM and it says it patched the file successfully. Here is the problem: Whenever I double click on the file to play it that was patched, it shows a black screen there and nothing more. The emulator I use is the Visual Boy Advance emulator, and a black screen shows there when I try to play the file that was patched with v1.0. Does anyone know any solutions to this? Edit: Never mind this. I looked at the reply above me that suggested to get a Binding Blade ROM from a different source and I did that so I managed to get that issue resolved. There's no black screen, it is playing perfectly with the latest translation that was provided here. I thank the person here who suggested to get a ROM from a different source prior to applying the patch.
