  1. Is a swimsuit patch that uses NA costume IDs something being worked on or should we just remain wary about a few random costumes if we use the patch from here on?
  2. It actually hasn't been released yet so I'm not sure. I'm assuming it's just a reprint of the old game at a bargain price but they *could've* updated the game to not work with it I suppose. Would be nice for someone to confirm or deny this come the 11th
  3. If you have physical OoT, there's a way to install it by manually adding a save file through a Powersave. You could grab both for $40 now that Nintendo introduced the Nintendo Selects line from Amazon
  4. The problem with the "Just don't use the swimsuits online" approach is that as the swimsuit patch exists now, it actually changed the accessory ID order to the Japanese version rather than the American one. Best case scenario there would be that people see your characters wearing weird combos of stuff, worst case is that it'll crash their game because it uses bad IDs or other complications. It would be best to hold off of online play entirely with accessories until a second version of the patch comes out that puts it into the American order, thereby making it online-friendly if you don't play online with swimsuits. I'm not sure if this is an If or When scenario, though, because I haven't seen follow-up saying that they intend to work on it when it was brought up.
  5. On first playthrough of Awakening, the Data Wipe option is right next to the Audio option which from experience has made that automatic procedure suddenly very, very risky if you're not paying attention. Also wondering the team is working on putting the Swimsuit patch back into NA order over JP order, as I don't remember this being explicitly confirmed in the thread. I want to know if I should wait for that to be done during my first playthrough of Fates and hold off buying the accessory shop until then, or if I should just mess with the patch as is for my next playthrough.
  6. Were the ID's that Jacien posted a couple pages back it? Granted the NA ID list doesn't seem entirely confirmed yet.
  7. If I haven't put the Accessory Shop into My Castle yet, can I still apply the costume patch without having to start a new game entirely since I won't see any item swapping? Would an Amie patch also need a new save? Also could I play online if I just didn't have any (inaccessible) accessories on my characters? Say if the costume patch were adjusted to the localized order instead of the JP order, could I just wear normally accessible accessories only and not have any problems? Or would Nintendo see that I was playing a patch and ban me regardless?
  8. Is the noticethat "values 3D, 3E, 3F, & 40 freeze game..." in the localized version mean that those values will freeze the unpatched game as is or that it will freeze the game if a patched version were to try to use those values? Also is this an easy thing to change in a hex editor? I haven't seen any of the staff address this so I'm not sure if they'll make this change themselves.
  9. Do you mean you found a way to patch the Undub Patch that came up on Reddit? I was trying to combine this patch with the new files from here but I didn't see a way to extract an actual .romfs in the same way you could with a romfs.bin.
  10. If you're talking about with Hans then no, you have to quit out to the Homebrew Menu every time by holding L+R+Down+B and starting up Hans again. You could save the loadout you have for the patch to make it a little faster. Until then, though, you can't soft-reset without meeting a black screen until smealum releases *Hax 3.0. He said he's been working on it along with some additional features but recently he's been working on WiiU stuff lately so who knows when that'll happen.
  11. No visible option to switch anywhere http://i.imgur.com/TswImet.png I put timestamp for it in an earlier post on this page if you want to see in more detail. Do you think they might've kept the audio on the cart and just removed the option from the menu?
  12. News Roundup to try to whittle down potential speculation: -To all the debate about all routes being on a single cartridge for the SE, here's a screenshot from the Polygon stream who did the unboxing for the SE earlier today: http://i.imgur.com/7bndXcI.png -The replacement to petting was also seen later in the video (1:57:57) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi7Wtu8A-y0&feature=youtu.be&t=7077 -No Japanese voices (0:15:27 - 0:16:19) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi7Wtu8A-y0&feature=youtu.be&t=927 Good News: -Any changes for IK should be easier to do for Hans users who have the SE Bad News: -Unless dual audio is a post-release free/paid DLC, no JP voices without a patch -Petting should be harder to implement now that something actually replaced it, rather than the menu option for it just disappearing Seems like a lot would have to happen to get this game fully patched. Granted I'd only want a few things patched personally (jp audio, potentially petting) but it looks like this project could potentially get too complex for a pick-and-choose approach to happen, not that I know anything about 3ds coding. And that's not even considering there'd still be patchwork to do for non-SE copies.
  13. Oh sorry about that! I misinterpreted your posts earlier and thought that meant it would just be an addition to the Serenes tl, not a patch just by itself. Just for curiosity's/clarity's sake, could you tell me if this is an accurate list of patches planned: -[JP Ver] Full Serenes TL Patch -[JP Ver] Official localized TL with JP names Patch -[West vers] Amie restoration only -[West vers] Full Serenes TL Patch -[West vers] JP names patch With all the West versions getting Amie restored if possible, presumably. I just want to know what my future options are is all.
  14. Any chance that there will be multiple mod versions for the Western releases, or will there only be a single patch version for the NA and EU versions respectively? I ask this because I would like to play the Amie bits while also being able to play the official localization and see the changes made in the text firsthand. I understand if this doesn't happen because of time limitations or just general lack of interest but I believe there could be enough of an audience in a similar position to mine to justify this.
