Yep, I have it on!

This is gonna be a bit long, so please bare with me. I bought the new 3DS XL FE Edition when it was released, and set up a new Nintendo Network ID because I didn't want to use the one on my older 3DS. This is because it had my real name on it I didn't know how to change it (not the actual ID itself, but the name associated with it). A few days later (after I already started to play Fates) I figured out how to change the name on the older ID (it was stupidly easy and I should've known how to do it tbh). So, I decided to transfer my 3DS data to the new 3DS XL, and removed the new NNID from the XL system. However, I recently noticed that I can't StreetPass with anyone, but only with Fates. My brother and I will be sitting right next to each other, playing Fates, but I don't show up in his castle and netiher does he in mine. My classmate who plays is the same way; she doesn't show up in my castle and I don't show up in hers. The only way my brother was able to visit my castle was by giving him my castle address. He also tried putting in the name of my castle (This Isa Castle) and told me that two options showed up. Both of them happened to be mine, but one was older (I think it was my castle before I transferred my data, but I'm not sure) The reason why I talked about all that is because I'm thinking that I can't StreetPass with Fates because that other NNID still exists, and maybe the Fates data is still connected somehow? So I'm guess I have to delete that NNID, but I was wondering what you guys think would help?

I'm interested in seeing if anyone has headcanons for how old the characters are! I think a toughie I have is with Mozu; to me, she sometimes looks like a late teenager (18/19) with a baby face, other times she just looks straight up 13/14... Also, do you guys think Elise and Sakura are suppose to be legal adults? I've always seen them as around 14/15 years old.

I'm trying to transfer the data from my old 3DS to my New 3DS XL, but it's saying that the Streetpass Plaza data will be "deleted and unusable"? Does this mean all my progress on Plaza will be deleted and I'd have to start over, or that I won't have Plaza at all after the transfer?

I don't mind that they just announced it. I think that alone is still enough for hype (I'm certainly excited!) I can't wait to see new Pokemon and new areas! Ooo, this would be so exciting! Kind of like BW2? (never played those but that's what I'm assuming?)

I've only played Birthright so far (finished CH18) and the only character that really bugs me is Azama. I don't think there's anything wrong with being honest, but he doesn't put others feelings into consideration, either.

I agree, I enjoy the change of time, and how it changes every time you go out instead of based on the clock. I think it would be a pain to time skip over and over again.

So, I prefer pairing people up based on their support convos rather than stats (I do take classes into consideration, but it's not a huge dealbreaker unless the child wouldn't get any new classes). I've been trying to find someone to hook up with Azama, because he seems like the most difficult to pair up because of his personality? I know he can be kinda wise sometimes but he's also pretty rude. The only people I haven't support grinded for him are Oboro, Hana, Mozu, and Sakura (not sure if I want Sakura to marry anyone though). And from the people I've grinded, Orochi, Azura, and Rinkah have ok supports with him...What do you guys think?

Wow, you must have done a lot of grinding! And only played 7 times? that's crazy! I've been playing on and off throughout the week, and I have about 25 hours of work saved on the file. Not sure how much I have listed on the Activity Log, though... I've completed chapter 18 of Birthright so far, and now I'm focusing on support grinding to find the best pairings, then getting the kids! I can 't wait until I recruit the kids. I already have Silas and my child's paralogues, but I haven't recruited them yet because I don't know it the skill inheritance system is different in this game.

I was wondering why it was like that...I wish they could just use a better resolution for the XL but I understand why they keep it the same as the regular 3DS I totally understand, which is why I started thinking I made the wrong decision about making another Nintendo Network I.D. (part of the reason I did that was because my other one has my real name, but I'm not comfortable with using that online anymore) As for the color, I actually already have auto-brightness off; it was so annoying! Either way, the colors are definitely different; the whites aren't as bright, but darker colors look richer. oh no, that's no good. I actually don't use the 3D that much because it kinda hurts my eyes/makes me a little sick (didn't really want a 2DS though, just because it looked a bit bulky), but the improved 3D is nice on the XL. I was thinking about getting the standard at first, especially since the Pokemon one is coming out soon, because I thought I wouldn't be able to reach the ZR and ZL buttons on the back; it ended up not being a huge problem for my small hands! Plus, I usually prefer matte finishes over glossy. that's very true! I've noticed my old 3DS is getting SO slow. Everyone, thank you so much for your help! I'm thinking about transferring my old data to my new 3DS now, but we'll see how it works out; if it ends up being too much of a hassle, I will probably just leave my 3DS' as they are. So, I bought the Fates edition of the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I was really liking it at first, but when I turned on my 3DS (my older, midnight purple one) I was looking at the two and felt that the graphics on the New XL looked kind of blurry? Plus, I feel that the colors look better on the older model; to me, the colors look brighter, as opposed to the New XL. I guess I'm asking if others feel this way, or if the blurriness/color thing is 'normal'? While I'm at it, I should ask about the issue of game 'transferring"-- since I started playing Fates on the New XL, would there be a problem if I decided to play it on the old 3DS? I have two different Ninendo Network I.D.'s for the systems, because I was planning on keeping both consoles for later things like trading Pokemon from different games. I'm thinking now I should keep just one console... and while I'm at it, anyone here want a FE:Fates Edition of the New 3DS XL? :P

Wow, I didn't realize so many people disliked Silas! I won't lie, part of the reason I like him is because of the "childhood best friend" trope, but also because he seems very kind and sweet from what I've seen so far!

So, I understand that this will be the other class you can switch into later in the game, but one of the options is Dragon. Does this mean if I don't choose it I won't be able to turn into a dragon at all?
