  1. There are only a couple of things I wanna know about the 4th route: Is it available for every house, and if so, is it the same across all houses? Is it a better/more complete ending than the others or just yet another way for the story to go? I don't wanna know any actual story details, just those things. Hopefully there'll be answers before the game is out. It might affect which house I start with.
  2. Did the guy have anything else to say about the difficulty of Hard mode? So far all we've heard is that Normal is super easy.
  3. He says in another comment that he liked Conquest and Birthright's stories and considers 3 Houses on the same level. The comment does fill me with a certain amount of trepidation. What if other journos also like Fates' story and writing? Have we actually had someone come out and say, "Yeah, Fates was some hot garbage, but this is the real deal" or something to that effect? Or have we all just assumed that because we (generally speaking) consider Fates' story bad, journos do too?
  4. This. Hell, apparently some are even saying Hard mode is still pretty easy, so I'm hoping Lunatic is a thing.
  5. I'm that boring grognard who exclusively goes with "canon" classes for characters in all FEs.
  6. Only problem with that is, what if you get the best BE ending first and then cap off your experience with the less satisfying one? Initially I expected the second BE ending to only become available after doing all 3 normal routes, but the preview more or less deconfirmed that theory. It's possible they're both satisfying in their own right, I guess, but still.
  7. Keep in mind, the Endgadget previewer almost certainly chose Black Eagles based on information in the preview. So that corroborates the fact that Black Eagles have an additional path, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's the case for every house.
  8. With all the insane builds people are listing here in the last few pages, I'm wondering if anyone beat Conquest Lunatic without reclassing and without child paralogues. I dislike both, so if I ever attempted Lunatic it'd be without those, but I dunno if it's even feasible the way people are talking here. Birthright Lunatic was easy even like this, though, and Revelation Lunatic's not too hard either.
  9. I don't think one is better. It depends on what you want out of Corrin, and what your stats are like. Even if you want a physical attacker, if you think you could do with a bit more Spd then Nohr Noble is a good choice. But if you've got like 22 Spd before promoting and you're slightly lacking in bulk, Hoshido Noble would be a better choice.
  10. Like Thane, I liked the freezing gimmick of Conquest 21. I brought a full team, and getting them all through while killing only what was necessary and making perfect use of DVs was great fun. I also enjoyed Conquest 15's replica gimmick. The rest of the maps I liked was more due to good design than gimmicks. Having played through all of Birthright and Conquest, as well as half of Revelations, I was only really bothered by the pot chapter in Conquest (forgot the number). They only served as annoying time-wasters to me in a map where you already have to rush, with an unappreciated element of unpredictability added on because you can't tell what the effect actually is, only if it's good or bad. Even the fox illusions and snow shoveling chapters were leagues better for me because I could just play them safe.
  11. People weren't kidding when they said Revelation Lunatic encourages low-manning. 7 and 8 were pretty much a Corrin solo (with healing and dancing, obviously). Fortunately I got Kaze back and promptly reclassed him to Dread Fighter, so hopefully he can help me out from here on out.
