  1. Done with all three routes on lunatic. Birthright and IK were a joke. . . At least Conquest was challenging/fun. Time to hang up the fire emblem mantle until the next one comes out, or I have time to play again. (School is a bish)
  2. Here's what I got. From Serenes I think you got slightly rng blessed on some aspects. Def is higher than average, and magic is way higher than average. However, I am seeing the possibilities of nos odin. I'll try it out tomorrow.
  3. I'm finding nos tanking odin saving turns a really hard concept to grasp, especially when you claim it can be done in lunatic, he saves turns, and he doesn't ruin the exp pool. I don't think I can be convinced with words, given odin's poor growths and nos not really stealing that much hp back with odin's piss growths. I'm interpreting facetanking to literally mean the same shit as was in lunatic mode of awakening where a dark mage/sorc would facetank the entire game. Vids/Screens/pics of this happening would also be appreciated.
  4. Someone posted a similar start on gamefaq 4 months ago with the same concept. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/114533-fire-emblem-fates-conquest/72691923 It works in lunatic also.
  5. Here are my thoughts on Nohrian characters on lunatic classic mode in Conquest: I will use these criterias in my attempt to categorize to the best of my ability, units in Conquest lunatic: S-Broken or overpowered A-Strong for various reasons, but not OP B-Decent and usable for a portion. These units may drop off in usefulness, or be replaced by kids C-Units that are less than desirable but may still be usable D-Nope units who shouldn't be used S Tier: Camilla-Are explanations needed as to why Camilia is the strongest unit in Conquest? She has good base stats, good growths, good movement, good bulk, good availability. She is a unit thatliterally has everything except immunity to bows and strong magic damage. Your strongest or second strongest combat parent unit. Corrin-God tier availability, lol, and god tier utility. Corrin can class change to any class in the game and can fulfill any role you want him to fulfill. Corrin's biggest problem is the fact that he doesn't really grow as well as the above units. I've found that rather than making Corrin a pure combat unit, giving him access to special skills like replicate or rallies, noble stuff, or special weapons/classes like dragonstone, and Corrin's versatility is what makes him an OP unit. Also 20% bonus exp lol. Azura-A unit that gives another turn to a unit along with bonus stats. Not a combat unit, but an OP support unit. Her biggest problem lies with her squishiness. At least she can tank one hit. Mozume-Mozume is a top 2 combat unit that gets stronger than your other units as the game progresses further and further. She's one of the few parent units that can actually ORKO a wide variety of enemy units. The fact that she is one of the very few units in nohr with the ability to do this makes her S tier. She's will probably be weaker or on par with your other units until promotion time, but after that, the distance between her and other units will probably grow bigger. She has high speed, high attack, high defense, but low hp and res. Her biggest weakness is her susceptibility to magic. Classing her into kinshi knight gives her a supprotive option with aoe heal and mobility, but in exchange she loses the damage and crit gained from sniper. Her spear option is less desirable due to already having multiple spear units in silas and effie, but she's still strong as a spear user. People may argue that Mozume is not S tier because you have to feed her exp early on and it takes effort to raise Mozume. I say that the effort on raising her vastly offset by how good she is as a combat unit, and the fact that it really doesn't take too much effort to raiser her levels. (Fight me) A tier: Kaze-You can train this guy to level 9 during the prologue chapters of the game. Comes back later, already caught up. Anti mage, OP skills like venom, replicate, lethality, and the + damage skill. Fastest unit in Nohr. Has access to a lot of anti-weapons. His low strength will relegate him into a clean-up killer or debuffer later on in the game. The fact that he can debuff, which is rare, also makes him really strong. Effie-Early-mid game, she can one shot squishy units, while having godlike bulk at the same time. Needs 0 training. Late game, she acts as a wall. Her usefulness lasts the entire game, and she would be considered S tier if not for her shitty movement, low speed, and the fact that she kind of falls off later on as a combat unit. Her tankiness may start to be less effective compared to tankier units like Xander or Benny Felicia-Second best availability in the game. Top tier support unit with shurikens/daggers and staves. She has these weird spikes where if you reclass her to Strategist, she does a lot of damage, and when she gets her magic shuriken, she becomes a strong combat unit, but the low might of her shuriken, her low bulk, and low growth rates leads her to falling in terms of damage potential later on. Still stays relevant as a support unit throughout the entire game. Better staffer than Elise due to being able to take more than one hit from anything(Fight me) Xander-1-2 range weapon, high strength and high def. Has low speed. Good bulk and good strength, but he's not the top at either burst damaging or tanking. I didn't like Xander, some people think he's amazing, his position is debatable. Niles-OP skills like pass and kunaibreaker, and he comes ready to wreck face during his recruitment chapter. His only problem is that he does fall off later on in the game, and other units become better combat units than he does due to his low strength. Silas-Really strong availability. Strong for a huge portion of the game, but he ends up falling off. All his stats except magic are good, but he excels at nothing. He can double with tonics/rally/dance but his strength isn't that high, and his effectiveness can be stretched. Lacking the OP skills also hurts him as the game progresses. B Tier: Benny-Strong wall with the highest def growth in the game, while also having a very high res growth. Low movement and decent strength hurts him though. Godly tanking potential and being a strong combat unit may make him A tier. Keaton-Comes with beast effectiveness and is useful with no training when he joins. Being stuck to one range kind of hurts, but being able to be bulky, being able to double with or without tonics/rally/dance and be sort of tanky at the same time makes keaton a very strong combat unit. May be A tier. Leo-Your strongest parent magic user in the game. Decent bulk, but has shitty speed. Low skill, but he has high magic that can be made even higher with the Spirit dusts no1 wants. Elise-She would be OP if she didn't get one shot. She's good for a good part of the game because she soaks up enemy staff uses, can ORKO, has high mov, and is one of the rare staff users in the early-mid game. C Tier: Selena-Only her and azura get rally speed. I guess you can use two heart seals to get rally speed on azura, but most likely if you do get rally speed, Selena is going to get it. Falls off hard as a combat unit and turns into a rally/support/staff bot. Odin-Pair up/Daddy bot that scales poorly. Shura-High base stats. He's a good support unit that gives mov with pair up, a rally, staff usage, lockpick, bows, and whatever. Gunther-Rally defense is really strong, and he can be a rally defense bot/whatever. Charlotte-Only decent axe user besides camila. Bad skill, bad bulk, but high damage and speed. Can get access to a rally, or high crit chance. Strong combat unit, but she's a growth unit. Debatable whether or not she's worth training up at the point in the game when she joins. Debatable where she stands. Pieri-Growth unit that comes late and adds nothing to your team really. . . Her classes force her to be a combat unit, but she sucks as a combat unit compared to your other units and has bad bulk. She also needs babying which is annoying at that point in the game. Just outclassed. Arthur-Support bot. Isn't strong enough to one shot, isn't strong enough to double, decent bulk, and almost no luck. It's hard to make him a combat unit despite his high availability. Outclassed by everyone above him. D Tier: Lazward-Comes with pretty strong bases but really low speed growth and getting decent strength and okay defense isn't cutting it. Beruka-Outclassed. Other people do what she can do, but better. Nyx-She is useful for a very few number of chapters in this game, but ultimately she is useless because of her bulk. Gets one shot by everything. Not worth it. Jakob-I'm a man. I don't play female avatars. Comes too late in the game with low bases to be useful. Can be a staffer/kunai user, but other options are better. Fiora-Comes too late in the game with low bases to be useful. She can be a staff bot/kunai user, but you already have so many options Izana-Comes too late in the game with too low bases to be useful. There are better combat units/staffers than this guy. Rally magic is crap.
  6. I just beat lunatic on a vanilla run ^^. I almost want to cry now. . . Shit was very time consuming and rng gave it to me up the butthole a couple of times. I'm thinking of starting birthright lunatic, and then revelation lunatic, but I think I'm burned out with fire emblem for like a few weeks, and I don't think birthright, or revelation can give me the same challenging experience that conquest gave me. I think I'm going to feel very disappointed with birthright and revelation considering how much easier it seems, based off already playing a couple of chapters on lunatic birthright. I feel like I just learned how to ride a unicycle, and am going back to riding training wheels. Someone on youtube uploaded her entire lunatic, conquest, and birthright lunatic runs and she spent like 150 hours or more hours on lunatic. O.O pretty insane if you ask me.
  7. Forge bronze weapons to make something stronger. Bronze weapons are really cheap and you can exchange or get a lot of ores from arena. You can get a +3 which is like +6 mt with 8 bronze weapons. 4K + ores.
  8. Here's what I did to beat chapter 10 of conquest lunatic very easily. I was playing the chapter blind, and I beat it in <5 retries with this setup. Mozume lvl 11, gave her a str tonic and had her man the ballista on the right and kill stray pegasus that came at her. Effie lvl 11. My effie was a little str fucked so I gave her a str tonic also, and along with Mozume ballista weakening enemy units, she could kill one shot enemy units that came from the right with javelin/lance. My effie was def blessed at this point so she didn't need a def tonic, but you could give her one so the enemies tickle her. She may still need a vulnerary though. Nyx lvl 9 mans the fire orb. I gave her 0 unit kills up to this point. She weakens the bottom units as top priority, and then the axe dudes that come at her. I left selena right on top of her so that selena could one shot the weakened axe units that come from the left. Niles lvl 11 mans the bottom ballista with corrin pairup. I gave my niles a def and hp tonic so that he could survive all the low hp ninjas that rushed him from the bottom side while still staying on the ballista. Azura just dances for niles so that he can use the ballista twice or dances for other units that need her. I gave her a def and hp tonic so that she could survive more than one attack from any misc unit that tried to attack her. lvl 10 silas with arthur pair up + speed tonic. Silas defends the bottom right choke of the map, and ith silas doubling, he can double and kill weakened axe users that come at him from the bottom right. Elise gets the top left house and joins the fray as a healer. I used both her rescue staff charges on this map. I had felicia, and she was just a staff bot that healed the people at the bottom. Camilia x Berka pair up goes around with their main objectives being to collect the items from the remaining two houses. After takumi uses his dragon vein, gtfo from the bottom side of the map and run to the exit, before you get overwhelmed. Any straggling units and any unit left behind gets rescue staffed by elise. Put 4 weak units in the back to block the exit(some may have to be paired up) and 4 in the front(All your units here need pair ups to avoid getting dual hit) to defend the weak units at the back. If you don't want hinata and Oboro hitting you, just dequip all weapons from all your units and have them tank only the units that manage to end up getting to you and hitting you. This will minimize the exposure to the amount of damage that you take from enemies, and by not killing them, you can also not risk opening yourself up to new enemies or units that can hit you. Heal with staves or just use vulneries to heal up, and boom, easy win to this chapter. I recall not weapon dequipping my items on safer tankier units like effie and camilia, but not sure about others. I think silas may be included here depending on how your silas turned out. Zero automatically can't hit any melee units that come at him so he's fine.
  9. Almost done with my first lunatic class conquest run(I think. Currently on chapter 25, got school, life, etc and I'm slowing down), and I was wondering, when is the best time to get kids? I fked up pairings, and I could only access harold and kamui's children paralogues until chapter 21, and I think I also fked up the timing of when I should have or was supposed to recruit my kids. I recruited both kanna and percy after chapter 14, and after a few levels of futile leveling, both those units ended up being shittier than their parent units, so I ended up dropping both of them. When both percy and kanna joined, they both had stats which were lower than their parent counterparts, and their growths weren't great either(may have been luck), and so they they ended up falling behind. Since this is my first run, and a blind run at that, could anyone experienced tell me the proper timeframe in which you are supposed to recruit kids so that they are useful or better than parent units.
  10. I beat this chapter on a blind run in <5 tries I think. Here's how I did it. My mozume was a lvl 10 archer. I had her run to the right along with effie. Mozume weakens the archers and lancers with the ballista, and effie ORKO's them with the javelin I bought her. My effie was a little str screwed, so I bought her a str tonic for this chapter to 0rko units. I also gave her a def tonic, despite being blessed with def, so that she took 0 to very little dmg from all enemies. I had nyx man the magic ballista. I left selena right next to her to combat the low hp axe units that made it through with an atk pairing. Zero or niles mans the bottom ballista. I paired him up with Corrin, and gave him a def tonic and hp tonic, so that he could survive I think it was three low health ninjas while manning the ballista. I paired up silas and arthur, and had them defend the bottom right chokepoint. I bought a speed tonic for my silas so he could orko the axe units after they took a ballista hit. Felicia goes on healbot duty/cleanup or debuff damage when needed. Azura dances for my niles for ballista, or whoever needs it for cleanup. Make sure your azura can take a hit or two and survive. Tonics if needed. Camillia and Berka pairup to visit the two villages and cleanup misc crap. Effie is rescue staff/freeze staff/healbot. I used up both charges of my rescue staff on this map QQ. Once takumi activates the dragon vein, run the fuck away towards the exit and form a 4 unit in the back and four units in the front formation. Have 4 weak units in the back, make sure they can tank a hit from whatever ranged unit, and have 4 units(some paired up) in the front tanking enemy units. To turtle very effectively during the last few turns of the game, you need to dequip the weapons on all your units so that they don't counterattack and kill other units, ensuring that they only take damage from 1-3 units every turn. If you find that some of your stronger units like Camilia/effie, or blessed corrin/silas/zero can tank multiple enemies effectively, then you can equip weapons, and let them get exp at the end. EZPZ. The main point of this chapter imo, is to get exp and the village items, and then run the fuck away once the dragon vein is activated.
  11. A little over halfway done with lunatic conquest, and the thing that keeps popping up in my mind is chapter 8 of lunatic. I could not get three villages. . . I ended up turtling and heavily leveling up mozume with javelin, but for the veterans or other players, am I supposed to freeze the soldiers that run to the villages and rush the villages/boss? I heard that the reward for getting the 3 villages is 10K. Is that correct? I feel like you can finish this chapter faster and easier than turtling if you use arthur over mozume or whoever, and tonics(I didn't use them), but I don't know :/ since I already passed this point in the game. It took me a few tries to beat this map, and this chapter was definitely way more challenging than chapter 10. Can any players who played on the jap ver or already figured this chapter out share some tips/insight/videos?
