You can get around Counter and Countermagic by using bows, hand axes, javelins, any ranged melee weapon. Counter only activates if you're directly next to the person and Countermagic only triggers if you use magic. It's a pretty big weakness to an annoying set of skills.

Pretty sure it just means it can't work with Strengthtaker, which would be super broken.

Excalibur is best for Ophelia with Vantage active since Excalibur has a super high crit rate with her, higher than Mjolnir even.

(Boon) Strong = Topaz (Nohr) and Lapis (Hoshido) (Bane) Dull = Meat (Nohr) and Rice (Hoshido) (Bane) Excitable = Berries (Nohr) and ??? (Hoshido)

Dwyer's worth outside of the Castle is pretty low when there's a lot better options for healing. As for Iggy, he is good at tanking if paired up, but to be fair so are almost all Generals/Great Knights on their own. His personal skill also hurts him a lot when not paired up. But if you're the type to always have him paired, then he's a good meat shield.The biggest problem he and Benny share is that they're both inferior to Effie. You could argue that Iggy is better if paired up, but the fact he has to be paired up to tank better is reason enough when Effie can be on her own and still kick ass. But if you want my opinion on worst child, it's Asugi.

Skills really aren't an issue when streetpass exists. While Nohr Noble does get better range coverage, there are some staves that are very useful for the more melee Hoshido, such as Freeze. In my opinion, it's just a personal preference between a mixed attacker and physical attacker.
