  1. The Unit Logbook is not locked to a single save, nor is the Records Hall. You can also visit the castle of each path on the other paths to maximum your skill-obtaining.
  2. Azura and Silas are special. Azura is obviously story-related and Silas is the friend who needs to stay by your side. Any non-important character who dies in DLC is dead for good. Case in point, I lost Odin from him dying in the Awakening DLC. Also maps like Beach Brawl don't have you use your actual units. So it doesn't matter there iirc.
  3. The logbook is how you can remove any units you recruit from others, or learn skills from in other files, or buy in other files.
  4. Not sure on the system, but there's definitely something different about it compared to other FE games, even Awakening. I've never missed so frequently with 80+ percents.
  5. Can confirm, yes. You also can't learn skills from them. Also, for quick math's sake: Midori = +20% Hoshidian Unity = +10% (obtained by having a Birthright/Revelations Corrin marry Kaze) Merchant = 35 Luck maximum (without child mods so results may vary) = 35% Profiteer proc That's 65%. You can make it 69% if you snag a Luck+4 from a Azura/Kaze Midori. If you need the Luck+4 or Hoshidian Unity for a Midori, let me know. Since my Midori is Level 1 Merchant her Luck isn't max, so recruiting her won't help much, but she does hold all the skills needed.
  6. You could definitely give Xander Quixotic instead of Vantage or Renewal if you wanted more proc rate. I just chose Vantage since it's amazing, and Renewal to keep Xander alive. For Camilla I find it better to just give her flat out bonuses over procs since her role is mostly to fly in, break stuff, then fly out. Elise shouldn't see combat as much as the others, so Miracle is good enough. Leo benefits more from debuffing your enemies since his personal skill focuses on increasing his damage when his target is injured. Plus Mjolnir deals 4x damage on crits, so having a proc skill would be mostly overkill if it did proc.
  7. Ignore the yellow Faceless completely. Only focus on the ones that actually attack you. They still give good enough exp until you're strong enough to take on the yellow ones.
  8. Ah, you made the same reading error I did. Quixotic is a 15% proc boost, not 30. 30 is for the Hit+.
  9. The following is all personal opinion, so I could be wrong in places. I also don't like reclassing that much, so the siblings are still in their usual class, but do have other class skills.
  10. I would definitely love it if we got more region-based countries in the future. As for Hoshido, I do like its look though I wish it wasn't so obviously good side.
  11. What I did was use Effie to tank/bait out the humanoid enemies while keeping the sides clear as I slowly moved down. Do your best to take out the Faceless in one turn since they can swarm fast otherwise. Once you get to the last barricade, kill the boss in a single turn.
  12. The thing is though that Awakening and Fates are both heavily Support-oriented. Awakening gave ridiculous buffs to be paired and Fates continued that to a lesser extreme, but made it a lot easier to get those Supports. You'd think for something they started to make a bigger mechanic they'd put more effort into it. Unlike games like Rekka no Ken and Sacred Stones that, while having limited Supports, had far better epilogues than Awakening/Fates. The quantity over quality is unneeded. I'd rather have a meaningful dialogue than an entire army with A/A+/S supports just to get buffed.
  13. Voice is good, supports are cute (especially with Kaden). That's about it.
  14. It would be a lot easier to code into the game as well if everyone had a static response. Though it makes it pathetic overall that older FE games could do this and not the brand new state-of-the-art ones.
  15. This would probably require a lot more testing than you can imagine since the easiest way would be to somehow get a super low accuracy to see if you get +60 Hit from Quixotic. That being said I was planning on testing this once I got Quixotic on one of my low level units. If I manage it, I'll let you know.
  16. Because I bet the writers would make Ryoma demand proof that the MU can't give because of Valla. And telling Xander would cause the same thing as what happens seconds before actually revealing the truth. Heck, Xander even threatens to kill you if you were wrong despite him having those doubts that he mentions right after Corrin proves they're right. The Conquest writers did a lot to make sure nobody would ever side with Corrin without actual proof. Ice Tribe leader? Prove that you won't kill any of his men (by beating them unconscious). Scarlet? Prove you don't kill needlessly (though this fails due to The Hanssacre). Every instance of "Maybe you truly aren't like the rest" is after proving it. There is no blind faith in these games. Not even Corrin has it.
  17. Same with Kaze, I can't find his VA at all either.
  18. I'm really biased because I popped my Selena to Great Lord almost immediately to get Aether and the other GL skills. The only thing is if you do choose Great Lord, you shouldn't go back to Bow Knight since GL > BK.
  19. Well, the big thing to remember is that function was gutted super hard in NA's release. You see it really blatantly with Flora as it takes her a full second or two before she begins talking and moving.
  20. I'll have to beat endgame again to see (*cries*), but I thought I saw that Keaton stuck around instead.
  21. Awakening conditioned me that I thought the whole "free class upgrade at Level 21" was still in the game, so I never used the Seals until then. Otherwise it usually depends on which unit. I usually let Healers go to max first since they're arguably the easiest to level after Dancers (who cares about turn numbers when you can max Azura out in one map).
