  1. I've hardmodded and downgraded my 3DS using the new method for 10.6. Its a New3DS XL and I can garente "atleast for me" it works flawlessly. I downgraded two devices already. One for a friend as well.
  2. Haha! Patterns, Patterns mah boy. You've done gods work. It appears the learn skill sections is organized like this 01 14 00 00 00 then FF bytes all the way till it reaches two, giving it a total of 20 bytes of FF's. The 01 14 00 00 00 also makes it easy for it to find. within character blocks. Lovely lovely! You've helped me as well and I shall thank you, so thanks. Now i just need to find out how wthin each character block, where is the stats? I wana find even the boot stats... unlimited movement, yah know.
  3. Can I ask, how did you find each characters themselves? DO you know their values? if so can you share them?
  4. I am personally trying to find these... but its kinda hard. If I was able to give my self max stats that would be a different story. I'm having trouble looking for the string of bytes that co-relate to the skills learned.. Hey does anyone with NTR want to activate a "learn all skills" on their Kamui, then give me the save for it? (the SAVE) Also, here's an updated version of the image... The blue is the true item inventory blocks. However whats cool are these. The black are the characters Value and Class, so who the character is and what class they are in. Using this information i was able to FIND the Amiibo's. Since they are the only one that actually have proper values for saves. The ID's that this thread offers do not match a single byte hex.... poor me. Character Values: FA (Marth) FB (Ike) FC (Lucina) FD (Robin) Class Values: 7C (Lodestar) 7D (Vanguard) 7E (Great Lord) 7F (Grandmaster) using this i was able to find Marth, which is FA007C and edit his inventory to boot. The brown has something to do with classes, putting them to FF FF FF unlocks classes. And the goodie part is. The Pink is the characters Hair colour use RBG hex values to change them :D. Ignore the yellow. I originally thought that was the learned skills but I later learned that was wrong. Anyways, can anyone with an NTR make the main character have all learned skills and share with me their saves? I totally want to find out how to edit the learned skills. I also want to find out where the hell the BOOT USED byte is, I know its there.. but where... grrr.
  5. Almost done? I hope your definition of that word is as I think it is. Nontheless, uplifting all the same. Anyways, I edited the post too...(if you look at the bottom of it) It was suppose to be an observation I made noticing it did NOT work. I later found out of how the files are ordered differently... then I got it working, to a degree. Anyways for now the only thign I have working is the undub and swimsuits.... my Avatar sounds alot more sexy and mature in the japanese voice acting.
  6. I don't understand how you got that, I'll edit my previous post to avoid this confusion once I find out where the mistake is. I'm sure it worked. I spent like a day working on it after figuring out the structure where different. Now that I'm receiving slightly different dialog (trust me I compared) and that my Yato is called Yatogami which is a good Xander is named Marx as well. Edit, if this is about my post 2 post back where I found out nothing changed. That was before I discovered my mistake. I got it working now (evident not only by the changed names, but the constant ??????? and ? and / in dialog) only be stopped by what is mostly a minor annoyance, and the developer and perfectionist inside me wanting to fix the problem. I sometimes wish I knew a bit about hacking my self, then I'd just replace the script myself the longer way, file by file that contains only dialog. Concidering how bored I am. XD
  7. Well that's a disappointment. (I don't mean that in a way like "fuck why haven't you made it yet" since I know how hard stuff like this can be) So I have two choices. Either I can go for the more true to what their saying script, but then have my saves have no tittles and what not, have the over-world menu not chapter descriptions and minor issues that mostly places random ? or ) in sentences. And this is only in the beginning of the game. Who knows what I may come across. Though at least the names and dialogue actually makes sense for its Japanese centric theme, especially for the hoshidian side. Or I can just go with the English game that had a support dialogue of nothing but (...), had a "pickle" saga and even made some guy a wacky "bro" of some sorts. I mean I guess the wacky-ness is funny but..... Hard choice honestly... I was hoping that my solution of combining the two romfs would help, Where it simply replaces the NA script with the English one, and anything that was NOT translated, gets translated by the original English script, which is all right as I don't have to go through random support in japanese. I guess i wasn't as smart as I thought I was.
  8. It works to a degree, but I did find on the world map its ????????????????? all that, but then again all text works fine. AS for the NA version, are you sure theres even one out? They only offer atleast here, a patch for the japanese one. There is a thread for content restoration, but theres litterally nothing avaiable for it, only swimsuits. However I found on a completely different site Undubs v3 for USA, and Using the swimsuit restoration. If you can , PM me the link to this NA patch for the fan script, I would love to use it.
  9. This is odd. After downloading the english patch then extracting ROMFS and putting the English into it the English special edition. I don't know if it actually worked. I then added an UNDUB patch which made everythign japanese, but THAT worked. The weirder thing is.... I downloaded and did the same thing to the japanese special edition, curious on what it would do, and I notice that it ryoma is spelled Ryouma, and Xander is Marx (which did not happen when i applied it into the english version) Does this mean it actually does NOT work for the already released English version? Edit: I later found out that the two files are organized differently. After putting all the right files where they should be, I believe I finally got it working.

  11. Managed to use hans with the sky3DS+ anyways. Either I got lucky because despite being on firmware 10.5 it appears to work. No crashes yet.
  12. Several questions. Can I use this with the English Special Edition? I would like to use the better of the translation, and since the language is already English, anything that was not translated and still in Japanese, and be translated cuz I patched over the English version? Lets say I then build the patched .3ds rom. can my Sky3DS+ (which currently is running the Fates Special Edition properly right now) still use it or must I install it as a .cia ? since cia uses my 3DS itself as a private header, lets say i can put it back on sky3DS+, can I use the conquest cartidge's private header on the 3ds to go online?
  13. No worries. Just keep in mind a few things. For some reason the items and weapons work a bit differently, the same XXXX00YY or YZ for weapons still apply, but its switched around 00024 (00) 40 (an equiped yato) based on the information given by the first post is not actually 40 00 00 24 as i originally though. Thats why in my edit i said to shift the blue boxes to the right by 2. XXXX 00 YY stil apllies, but you just reverse the XXXX part. So then it becomes 24 00 (00) 40 (the (00) is the seperating part) 0009 00 00 (armorslayer) becomes 0900 00 00 0900 00 07 (+7 armorslayer), its the same for items as well. 0137 00 01 for Master Seals, it becomes 3701 0 01 in the save editor. For a while now ive been waiting on like a update to the FE: awakening editor, but i grown slightly impatient. Even then, most of the cool stuff is only happening with a CFW 3DS. I already went and got most of the stuff to start soldering myself a hardmod. Just waiting on the wires now.
  14. Oh my. I made a personal breakthrough. While comparing Awakening Saves structures of known types to fates, I found out they match quite well. Using that, I managed to find crucial locations of minor things. I decided to share it with you guys! This is for SAVE EDITING not RAM DUMPS or what not.
  15. I just went in game found my current gold value. Wrote it down. like maybe it was 27201 which in hex is 6A41. You hafta reverse it. Then you find that value reversed, Using the search function to find it. Still, i wish people on here knew a bit more about save hex stuff. I wana do much more. For now though, I plan on hardmodding my 3DS very soon.
