  1. All of them other than leonardo at some point. Nolan I kind of feel is a must (latent Nihil, better rez and speed than boyd, seems like a no brainer he was designed for the end game). Edward is pretty easy to level up and always turns out to be the best trueblade in my book. But sometimes if I'm training somebody else from the dawn brigade i'll sideline him for one of the easier trueblades. Laura and Aran are my two favorites from the DB but probably the worst for the end game. They still both do fine but they're outclassed. Meg is alright as well but again probably not worth training. Fiona is definitely not worth training but I love to do it anyways, she's possibly the best user of the wishblade in the game when all is said and done. Not gonna add volug to all this? I've only used him once and wasn't too impressed (like with all the laguz) but he theoretically could turn out pretty decent with some luck.
  2. The game just fricking hates fiona. Terrible bases, low leveled, and the worst availability for her class in the game. Seriously it goes indoor level, indoor level, swamp level, followed by 2 levels where you basically have to sit back and play defense (although canto can be real useful on those at least). What even is the point of that damn horse. Meg on the other hand takes a little luck but generally can become decently competent with a little elbow grease. She's also one of the few SS sword users in the game that isn't a swordsmaster, which isn't much of a plus but I like to try to never use more than one of each class for pointless reasons. Still, like most people have pointed out, Fiona is quite a bit better come the final tower since she reaches that magic 34 speed. Personally I end up using her quite often, partially because I like her design and partially to spite the game designers utter contempt for her.
  3. Yus!!! Jaffar is mine, Nino-Jaffar power team go! Judging from the other ones mines +Atk -Spd or -Def (please be the latter).
  4. Woo pulled a Jaffar, thank you free 20 orbs. Name: Jaffar HP: 17 Atk: 19 (8 without the dagger) Spd: 9 Def: 5 Res: 5 Weapon Skill: Deathly Dagger Assist Skill: N/A Special Skill: Night Sky
  5. Welp now I don't know whether to use my flags now to try and keep a high rank, or save em since Elise has basically already lost, and Erika vs Lucina is going to be a shit show.... Lucina will win but I'll be damned if I don't try to stop it. Also yay... another week, another 20 orbs, another no 5 stars.
  6. Woo boy 3333 feathers, finally going to get to promote my second unit to gold. Time to make the Nino dream team a reality. EDIT well whoops, i accidentally clicked on the wrong topic.
  7. DB Chapters: I always liked stealing Tormods celerity and giving it to Micaiah (although resolve for chapter 1-9 really is very useful). Probably could be someone who could use it more though, maybe Ilyana. Elincia Chapters: I'm not 100% here but I seem to recall you can't change skills in chapter 2 I think? Maybe you can in the castle defense level but I'm pretty sure you can't during Geoffry's charge or Lucia's cave level. If so then these only apply to chapter 3-9. Taking Geoffry's paragon has always been a pretty obvious choice, pretty much always give it to marcia. Gambles also pretty poor on Keiran, but theres not a whole lot to give it to (maybe DevDanveD). You also can buy an adept in the bargain bin which I like to give to calil, but could easily go to Geoffry or Keiran if you just want to run through the level. Ike's Chapters: Honestly, I usually just use these chapters to train up a couple characters I feel like using so I probably don't allocate my skills too optimally. Acutally, if you did give Ilyana the celerity, then I would 100% give it to heather in 3-5, so she can try to chase down that damn paladin if he runs off with your energy drops. As a more general rule I would say Disarm, while not a great skill, is pretty poor on Brom and can have some use on someone like Mia or Nephenee. Soren's adept could also probably find a better home, one someone like oscar, shinon or rolf. Oh and you should probably put Blossom on Astrid if you plan on using her because she is far and away the best character for abusing it. End Game: Skrimir does alright with resolve but honestly I don't like using him all that much, so I tend to steal it and give it to any number of recipients. Tibarn is basically unkillable up until the tower so I really don't think he needs pavise. I like to give it to some moderately bulky front line fighters, like Nephenee or Jill. Otherwise, you probably would want to go by a more character to character basis on what skills make them the best they can be.
  8. I mean she hits like a truck and has some pretty good abilties. If you need someone to deal with pretty much every one of the ubiquitous red sword users running around then shes your girl. Although, her biggest asset probably is that she can survive almost anything while she has full HP thanks wary fighter. If you got people with shove or smite it can help, and she also is one of the few characters who can really take advantage of a healer... again with her wary fighter ability. Personally I think shes slightly outclassed by a couple other blue options but still does a fine job.
  9. Managed to get 4102 with a level 30 3 star Narcian. Probably the best I'm gonna do, which puts me in at about 31000th ranked currently. Hopefully I don't deteriorate down past 50k by the end of the season.
  10. Defiant skills count as a buffs right? Cause +14 attack or +7 Atk +7 Speed nino sounds kind of tantalizing (not that getting her to bellow 50% hp is an easy task without her dying). Could also maybe push the goad and ward and other such abilities into more use. (I like the idea of robin + 3 super flyers) But ya this sounds both very interesting... and very terrifying.
  11. I imagine adult tiki would be about all you need if shes fully leveled. I used a nowi, who has a pretty similar build to adult tiki, and basically just ran her in, tanked the mages, and then rushed everyone else in and won easily.
  12. Well I'm boned. Stuck with only a level 20 3 star Narcian... guess I'll train him up to 40 over the week and just try to get enough points to at least get the 1600 attack feather bonus. Where is my Erika!!! RNG Gods, why do this to me now!!
  13. Some sort of splitting job promotion could be interesting. So when your using feathers to upgrade a unit you can choose to become 2 different things. As an example with Camilla you could become either her traditional brave axe user, or some variant of tome user (and possibly modify stats based off the weapon in use, cause a ranged camilla could be pretty terrifying). Have some sort of reclassing option which costs some number of feathers if you want to switch to the other weapon that resets the character to level 1 with the same number of stars. Heck, that could even be a way to let you learn additional A/B/C skills that you can swap for the old ones. So again, using Camilla as an example, you could learn Darting Blow and Savage Blow as an axe user, and as a tome user get something like Spur Atk and Lunge or whatever.
  14. Exactly 4400 baby. I would kill for a hector... Anyways may be switching out Anna for a newly acquired Marth once he's trained up (as much as it pains me to do so). I do think Anna is doing fine, just marth will fill a hole I need. Also might switch robin back in for Nowi... shes fine but having a dedicated Takumi counter is always nice. EDIT* Actually guess I have to switch back in Robin or Marth if I want that sweet double rank points reward....
  15. My team atm. Looking to replace robin with something eventually but I'm not sure what (maybe Fir or adult Nowi). For now, just focusing on getting those 20k feathers for Nino to fully evolve into a true glass cannon.
