  1. Now it's a good time to talk about Pac-Man And I guess Mario
  2. 3 million worldwide by now. 1 million in Japan alone.
  3. I presume you can use a blue unit if it's required to recruit a red unit, but only for that (otherwise you miss on tons of units in Thracia).
  4. 2015 had its fair share of games, some good, some bad, some amazing, some forgettable. Whether on Wii U, PS4, XB1, 3DS or PC, there's certainly a lot to choose from. But which one was your absolute favorite? The Game of the Year, in your eyes? (No poll, btw. Way too many games to choose from and I know I'm going to miss some if I do that) For me, the GOTY is without a doubt Splatoon. The Third Person Shooter made by Nintendo that caught the world by surprise with its unique mechanics and charismatic characters. When I first saw the trailer back at E3 2014, the game certainly caught my attention, and while it became one of my most anticipated games, I never expected to love it as much as I expected. The controls are great, the customization is varied and addictive, the online is fantastic, and most important of all, the game is super fun. I'm not even a fan of shooters, and I definitely never expected a shooter to be my GOTY, yet here we are. I guess Nintendo did the impossible.
  5. I've only seen some staggered conversations from the Japanese game and the oficial footage in English, so I can't make a well-based opinion. Although I can say for sure he/she is better than Kris.
  6. So none of you guys are going to share your SMM Bookmark profiles? It's supposed to make level sharing a lot easier.
  7. Super Mario Maker Bookmark site is up! Here's my profile for those who want to try my levels out. https://supermariomakerbookmark.nintendo.net/profile/Javeman
  8. I think Smash 5 is going to be an upgraded port of Smash Wii U, which will include all DLC on-disk at no cost, all characters, stages, trophies and music from both Smash 3DS and Wii U, new challenges, and a few extra stages and characters that were likely planned for Smash 4 but scrapped for whatever reasons, including Ice Climbers, Wolf, maybe Chorus Kids and Dixie Kong. Inkling is going to be the flagship newcomer shown at the reveal, similar to Villager in Smash 4. Sakurai also won't direct, but merely act as a consultant. There is no way, NO WAY, they start a new Smash from scratch and have it ready for the NX.
  9. I don't know. Trying to sum it all down to a goof-up seems incredibly far-fetched. You also think they would have fixed it by now, OR you can argue that the goof-up is at the beginning of the Bayo trailer. Honestly, the butt shot is meaningless (there are already plenty of those in the base game). The reason I believe the Bayonetta DLC will be rated T is because Bayonetta uses real guns with actual bullets as part of her moveset and I have yet to see a game that uses that and is rated E10 or less. If there are, anyone please point them out, but bear in mind I'm not talking about "cartoony" stuff or explosives (ala Looney Tunes, which is what Duck Hunt's moveset is mostly based on).
  10. Those are some pretty big assumptions you're making there. I mean, that's some HUGE behind-the-scenes stuff. So I'll just stick with my theory. You didn't even bother to explain why it makes no sense.
  11. It's not as obvious as you think, as the FE14 footage is also on the separate Corrin trailer and that one is fully rated E10, yet by your logic it should be rated T. The part with "they probably didn't have word from the ESRB when they edited the broadcast" makes no sense whatsoever. The trailers were available literally as soon as the broadcast was over.
  12. That's irrelevant. The point is that the footage is different. My theory is that Nintendo is indeed planning a T rating for the Bayonetta DLC (hence the warning in the broadcast which notes the T rating is [key word] "Pending"), but there's nothing objectionable within the trailers themselves so those are still rated E10 (which is the game's current rating).
  13. Yes there is. The separate Bayonetta trailer does not show any of the footage with Sakurai explaining Bayonetta's moves.
  14. You're missing the point. The rating at the beginning of the broadcast was not exclusively for the Corrin trailer, but for the broadcast as a whole (note how the Bayonetta trailer during the broadcast has no rating notice). The broadcast shows game footage that isn't on the separate game trailers, which likely contributed to the T rating in the broadcast. Also, I made an edit to my previous post while you were replying, you might want to check that out.
  15. No, the rating at the start of the broadcast was for the Broadcast as a whole. All Nintendo Directs start like that, usually showing a single Rating screen that encompasses all the games shown in it by showing a Rating range (like "ESRB E - M"). Also: http://www.esrb.org/ratings/faq.aspx#16.5 So DLC can be rated higher than the actual game but obviously doesn't raise the game's rating by default (since the rating shouldn't change until you actually buy the DLC). EDIT: The Blood Pack in Total War: Shogun 2 is indeed rated M.
  16. I have no problems with him staying since a lot of his problems seem to be situational issues rather than an overall bad design work. We also don't know how much responsibility goes to him for a lot of the stuff being mentioned here.
  17. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) is a great SRPG that plays similarly to FE. It has a nice story and a cast of characters that really engages you. The battle system does have relatively long battles but nowhere near as bad as Final Fantasy. The mechanics are also a bit scary at first but once you get used to them, the game plays great. Also, the game has you make decisions that affect the outcome, so if you like multiple endings there's also that. Right now, the game is on sale on the 3DS eShop at $9.99 (reduced from $29.99!) until 28/12. Fantastic price for an amazing game.
  18. Bayonetta WILL push the game's rating to a T. Notice how the very first thing shown in the Smash Broadcast was a ESRB "Rating pending to T" notice.
