  1. Yeah, but the weird thing is, is that Silque uses the default male sage battle model instead of a modified female one, which is bizarre.
  2. Wait, WHAT?! Silque as a Sage?! What?!!? That's not possible! Mae using Excalibur!? WHAT?! What the hell is going on here?! Did NOA fundamentally change the game or something!?
  3. Are there only a handful of Villager Forks in the game, or can you get an unlimited amount?
  4. My guess is Genealogy. It has the children mechanic, so it's pretty much a guarantee that IS won't completely disregard it. The game will need HEAVY re-working and balancing. One of the biggest issues is defiantly the map design, because traveling the enormous maps will turn many people off. Heck, I've beaten the game three times and the map travel is exceptionally obnoxious. The only game I fear that IS will ignore is Thracia 776 because of its exceptional difficultly. I hope and pray that it'll get some attention in the near future because Leif is a lord whose story should get expanded upon.
  5. Kliff had an amazing spell selection in Gaiden for a male mage, including the Aura and Excalibur spell. He blew Luthier, Boey, and Nomah out of the water. Delthea and Celica both had access to the best spell, Ragnarok. Sonya had access to Excalibur and Mae with Seraphim. I'd argue that Gaiden Kliff is way better than Mae, but in Shadows of Valentia, pretty much all the female mages outclass their male counterparts due to having access to useful utility spells like Silence, Rewarp and Entrap. Also, having access to swords is really nice because Priestesses will not waste HP when counterattacking. Yes, Sages have an innate HP recovery passive, but you can give a Priestess any old ring accessory and it'll do the same. So Sages are looking to be pretty useless this time around, which sucks so much.
  6. Sonya on a first play through and Dean on a second play through. Though Dean is one badass dude, Sonya is much more fun to use due to Entrap and Rewarp.
  7. Thanks for doing that! You didn't have to, man! I mean, the design would look 1000x better had they had an opening in the front. I don't know why Hidari gave them dresses.
  8. DAMN IT. So they wear the dresses any everything, no split down in the middle like this? Welp, I guess I'll have to stick to using female casters, again. This is the third game in a row where male casters suck, get it together Intelligent Systems!!!! >:( All I want is the return of badass male casters like Ced and Reinhardt.
  9. Yeah the overworld sprite looks like absolute crap. I don't know where quality control was for that. As far as the design of the 3D model, it baffles me that IS refuses to model robes after the Jugdral or Tellius.
  10. Man, every class looks so damn good, except the sage. I hope Luthier, Boey and Kliff look better as sages than Nomah. Dread Fighter. I like the design except for the weird ornament that's strapped on to their backs.
  11. Atlas's name is spelled wrong in the Black Magic spell section.
  12. How the heck can Celica go down to Ram Village? Isn't the path to the village blocked off by the landslide?
  13. Interesting. Do you happen to know if "non-Celica" Priestesses use the same overworld sprite as Celica's?
  14. Is there an "equip skills" function in this game, kinda like what they did with Fire Emblem Heroes? Some skills seem redundant like the two versions of the "Armor Crusher" skills.
  15. What are some of the weapon skills that can be used regardless of the equipped weapon? Earlier in the discussion, it came to my attention that the skills associated with the Lightning Sword cannot be used with another sword equipped. In light of this, does the skill "Crosswise," for example, allow the unit to use the skill with, let's say, the Brave Sword?
  16. Well, she will wear something along the lines of that Tatiana wears. A sleeveless robe. Saints almost look like Dancers in this game.
  17. My picks are based on aesthetics only. Villager: Tobin. I find that I really like his design over Kliff's. Tobin actually looks like a village freshly recruited to fight in the army. Soldier: Lukas. Probably the best looking heavy armor unit in all of Fire Emblem. Archer: Python. The coolest looking archer I've ever seen. Cavalier: Mathilda looks like Athena, Aphrodite, or some other greek goddess. She looks awesome. Mercenary: Saber. Such a badass. Gives Ogma a run for his money. Mage: Boey. Though I don't like the archetypical anime pre-teen magic user, Hidari handled his redesign very well. Boey looks way better than Luthier, because Boey's tunic is pretty amazing. I just hate, HATE, when mages are given robes that look like dresses, because Luthier looks like he is wearing grandma's drapes. Cleric: Silque - I love the detail that was put into her outfit. It's such a shame she loses it when she promotes. Pegasus Knight: Claire - I don't think I've ever seen a blonde (canon) pegasus knight in Fire Emblem, ever. Though Catria looks amazing with her short hair, I prefer Claire's design just for the fact that she stands out from the myriad of technicolor hair pegasus knights.
  18. The animations are very impressive. The triangle attack has an incredible animation.
  19. Well that sucks. I was hoping you wouldn't have to rely on, let's say, an Iron Sword to use it's signature skill. I was under the impression that you'd have a unit learn the skill then move on to a stronger weapon to learn it's respective skill and then be able to keep using the skill learned from the aforementioned Iron Sword even when using a different weapon. Man, Echoes is a weird game.
  20. Just one last clarification: So Alm cannot use Distant Bolt (even if he masters the skill) with the Royal Sword equipped, only if he uses the Lightning Sword, correct?
  21. I should have clarified: If you were to re-equip the Lighting Sword, then would you get to use the Distant Bolt skill again? Or do you have to learn it all over again?
  22. Do you have a screenshot of this? So you can't permanently learn skills? You have to equip a weapon to "activate" it's use?

    Persona 5

http://atlus.com/note-persona-5-streaming/ Wow, not sure if you guys saw this. This sucks so much.
  24. I figured that, with all the leaked information and the official game's imminent release, it would best to make this kind of thread. This way, members can ask specific questions about the game without running the risk of accidentally spoiling themselves in the datamine thread, like I did. I believe that the Fire Emblem Fates board had this kind of thread over a year ago. PSA: For any questions that contain story spoilers please remember to use the spoiler tag! I'll start with my first question: Do the maximum class stats cap off at 40 like they did in the original game or, are there unique maximum stats for every class?
