I am of the 'casual viewer' variety: I definitely do not believe that the stars decide our personalities and destinies, but I do like reading on them, partially because I like zodiac memes, and partially because I think it's an interesting breeding ground for magic systems or the like in my writing. I am a Scorpio, by the way. How do you see the zodiac?

Will Alphen be an amnesiac villain turned hero? A god or spirit? Secret royalty? A living weapon? An artificial human? A homunculus?

It feels like everyone has been down on the flirty characters in FE for a while. Yeah, people have been praising Sylvain for being well-written and having understandable motives and breaking the mold, but it felt like everyone hated Virion, Inigo/Laslow, Sain, and even Saul at times. And while Sylvain may have been praised for being great, much less praise has been leveled at Lorenz (the Three Houses one, not the Archenea one). The only flirts who have gotten praise besides Sylvain was Gatrie (for being effective comedic relief and a good 'wise guy' to Shinon's 'straight man'), Jesse (for having the flirtiness be ancillary to his other roles), and arguably Leon (at least for having an interesting twist in that he flirts with Kamui primarily to troll him and is dead set on Valbar even as he realizes that Val isn't going to recognize him, as well as having a partner before him).

Okay, I've been talking with some Tales of friends and theorizing, and we have some basic, not complicated theories: -Alphen at game start is a simple (albeit amnesiac and cannot feel pain) slave on Dahna to Renans. -He's being transported on a train when it gets attacked by Renan freedom fighters -Shionne is also on the train, and she tries to use the chaos to escape. Her handlers try and grab her but she (and Alphen, who, after an accidental contact, realize that her curse doesn't work on him) escape. -Shionne gives Alphen the sword -They fight that fire monster who may or may not be Efreet?
