  1. I wish I found this first before I started writing my chart, this is much easier to navigate around for doing calculations for the inheritance. At least I can compare my chart with this to check for errors.
  2. I've been working on a chart to calculate max stats when pairing characters up, for the sake of planning out my Revelations game and getting all those kids perfectly. Along the way, I ended up calculating potential classes based on S and A+ Pairings for all the characters in the game. All the data I used came from Serenes Forest, and I figured that I might as well share this to help out anyone who is as meticulous as I am about using each character. https://www.dropbox....Fates.xlsx?dl=0 There are way too many characters to pair up and test to be sure that everything worked out. I made sure to take into account for parallel classes and gender specific classes for each character. You can pair up any named character, even if they can't pair up in game. I'm considering adding other things that may come in handy as reference. I haven't included growth rates per class and character, and potential skills for each class yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to calculate and include. If anyone finds any mistakes in classes or stats when pairing up the characters, please let me know, and I'll figure out how to fix it. I'm not a programmer, I just like calculating stuff. I already caught a bunch of possible pitfalls, such as Monk/Shrine Maiden promotions, and Kana max stats when one of his/her parents is a child unit.
  3. I say welcome to the forums, even though I joined the forums just recently after you. I say it's just good to be welcome.
  4. Hello Serenes Forest Forums! I've always used SerenesForest as a resource for all Fire Emblem, but I had never joined the forums before until I found some cool stuff around here. I've played Fire Emblem since the first one that came to the US, and I've played all of the ones that came out afterwards. I enjoy the difficulty and tactics of the earlier games, but my favorite Fire Emblem so far is Awakening. I'm enjoying Fates a lot right now, and it'll probably be my new favorite after I finish Revelations. I spent a bit of time today working on an excel file to calculate stats in Fire Emblem Fates. It calculates class possibilities and maximum stats for each character based on S class and A+ Supports. I actually got most of this information from Serenes Forest, just compiled it all into a few pages. It would be cool if someone can test it out and give some feedback; parallel classes made things confusing and I haven't tested all the possibilities. https://www.dropbox....Fates.xlsx?dl=0 Also this: Online name: Santoryu02 Real name: Chester Favourite FE Game: Awakening Favourite Game (other than FE): Mother 3 Favourite FE Character: Roy Least Favourite game: Uh... I can't think of any. Jenga? Sports: Badminton Favourite music: Mostly Video Game Music Favourite artist/band: Yuzo Koshiro - Etrian Odyssey Stuff Favourite song: Reincarnation - The one from SMTXFE Country: America Hobbies: Playing video games Good Point: I'm kinda smart I guess. Bad Point: Playing too much Video Games
  5. So I was really bored at work today, so I wrote up an entire excel file to calculate a lot of information on my Revelations File. This involves max stats, possible classes, children classes, etc. After working on it for so long, I figured that I might as well share what I got, and get suggestions on fixes. I got all the data from Serenes Forest, such as class information, max stats, etc. https://www.dropbox.com/s/df5rodxxs3hrhnd/Fates.xlsx?dl=0 The biggest pain while doing this was determining classes for S Class and A+ Supports. All you need to do is input your Bane, Boon, Gender, and Talent to input your main character, then you can pair up any characters together to calculate the children max stats. You can also check a character's possible classes and the maximum stats for each class. This calculates everything, even if you pair up two characters who can't actually pair up. I'll figure out how to fix that eventually. You shouldn't have to edit anything on the excel file, except enter your character information in the Yellow boxes. I'm not sure if I completely understood the concept of parallel classing, but I think I got the logic correct. Spelling has to be correct. I've coded the main character in as My_Unit. Take note, I'm not a programmer, just a bored Fire Emblem fan. If anyone gets a chance to use this, please let me know if there are any obvious errors when pairing up characters.
